//------------------------------// // Chapter 36 Drugged Out // Story: The Slow Mo Stallions // by gamershot //------------------------------// Rarity was trotting down the road happily, she'd actually woken up early for once to visit the spa and now she felt lovely and refreshed. She sighed contently as her stylish mane bounced gently as she moved. "My, what a lovely day!" she said to herself joyfully. Thanks to her spa trip, her white coat gleamed and her hooves were shiny enough to use as a mirror. Her purple ringlets fell perfectly at the side of her head and shone with elegance. She soon trotted over the hill and made it to the crater, the three others sat on the ground waiting. "Good morning Applejack!" she greeted, "Pinkie, Gavin, Dan." she added, nodding her head. "Mornin' Rares." returned Gavin with a warm smile. The small group stood up and patted the dust from themselves. Pinkie jumped up onto her hooves and hugged Rarity tightly. "Good morning my favorite fashionista!" she cheered joyfully. "Thanks Pinkie, now let's be going. I bet they're waiting for us." said Rarity, ducking her head from Pinkie's death grip with practiced expertise. The others nodded in response and set off walking towards the hospital. "D'ya think Long Shot's up yet?" Dan asked Gavin as they walked at the back of the group. "I dunno, but I hope he is." replied Gavin flatly. "Well, you should hope that. It is your fault after all." "Actually it's his fault for bloody electrocuting me." "You deserved a good shockin' ya bell end." chucked Dan. Gavin smiled at his friend happily. "Let's be off Danny Fanny." squeaked Gavin, hardly able to contain his laughter. Dan's smile spread as he grabbed Gavin in a headlock, making the other stallion squawk strangely. "Tease it!" Gavin yelled as he wriggled from the tight grip and ran around to the front of the group, laughing happily. Dan chased him around, also laughing and smiling. "Dan! Dan!" yelled Gavin as he tried to escape. "Come 'ere Gav!" Shouted Dan, artfully galloping after the tan pegasus. The three mares wanted to stop them at first, before sharing a glance and shrugging it off. They joined in the laughter as the two once humans ran around wildly, chuckling and screaming. "Stallions." giggled Rarity, rolling her eyes, setting the three girls off giggling like mad mares. The mood was light and energetic, and the fact that Gavin and Dan weren't even from Equestria was forgotten completely. They were way more fun than any other stallions, and the mares loved having them around too. They reached the hospital in good time, Gavin sporting a new bruise on his leg, Dan's mane had become completely messed up and his ribs were hurting from Gavin's wing tickling. They trotted into the hospital, springs in their steps. The mare at the door nodded at them kindly, allowing them to walk to their friends. Fluttershy was standing up on three legs at the foot of her bed, talking to Rainbow Dash, who was standing on her bed flexing her wings. Twilight however was seated next to Long Shot, talking to the barely conscious stallion. Long Shot looked up as Applejack, Pinkie and Rarity trotted around the corner to them. Gavin and Dan soon followed, the ash grey stallion's eyes snapping to them instead. "Gravy! Pan!" shouted the injured pegasus, perking up and pointing at the two other stallions. "Long Shot?" said Gavin, confused. "Good day Gravy!" shouted Long Shot, clearly pointing at Gavin. "Uhm, Gavin?" asked Dan, pointing at Gavin. "No Gravy, Pan!" "Gavin, Dan?" "Pan and Gravy are very fishy..." sulked Long Shot, sinking in his seat. Gavin, Dan and the three mares looked at Twilight, eyebrows raised. "He's all coo coo on pain killers." sighed the purple unicorn sadly. "I AIN'T ON NO PWAIN KULLERS!" yelled Long Shot from under his blanket. "Oh okay." chuckled Dan, trotting over to Long Shot. "Psst, Pan.... Psssst?" he whispered to Dan. "What is it buddy?" asked Dan, leaning in so Long Shot could whisper to him. "Get me outa here pwease." he pleaded, looking up into Dan's eyes. Applejack let out a small chuckle before stomping her hoof on the ground. "A'right everypony. Let's be goin'!" she announced, before letting Fluttershy put a fore leg around her shoulder for support. "Tippedy toppers." said Gavin walking forward. "Gavin would you be a dear and help Rainbow Dash?" asked Rarity whilst poking his side gently. "Okay, why?" he asked, turning to face her. "Because she would mess up my coat, Pinkie Pie is far too unpredictable and Applejack is already helping Fluttershy. Besides, you’re the gentlecolt." she replied calmly. "Alright." Gavin sighed, walking up to the cyan pegasus and smiling happily. Rainbow Dash jumped off the bed carefully and plopped her hoof around Gavin's neck before flashing him a goofy smile. "Come on Gaver Wavers, let's go." she sighed, pulling him forward. "Okay Dashie." said Gavin happily, walking forward with her. Dan carried Long Shot on his back, Applejack helped Fluttershy with her broken leg and Rarity walked alongside Twilight. "Ugh, I can't wait to sleep in my own bed, Rarity, the hospital ones are so uncomfortable." grunted Twilight as she walked along the corridor slowly. "Yes dear, you look like you could do with a good rest." agreed Rarity, nodding her head. Dan was trudging along slowly; Long Shot was wiggling around on his back and making it hard for Dan. "Blimey Long Shot stop it!" he yelled, looking back at him. "NO! Pan I wanna wiggle!" shouted the drugged out pegasus. "I'm warning you, Long Shot. Stop it, you're hurting my back." "No, no I'm not." giggled Long Shot as he continued to wiggle, his eyes practically purple from the drugs. As Long Shot continues to move about uncomfortably on Dan's back, he decided enough was enough. Dan kicked his back legs into the air and bucked the drugged up pegasus into the air. Gavin and Dan both laughed loudly as Long Shot hit the ground with a thump. "I did warn you Long Shot." laughed Dan. "What the buck." grunted the ash grey stallion as he crawled to his hooves. Gavin trotted back to him and patted his shoulder. "You should not mess with Dan." he laughed warmly. Long Shot grunted as he stumbled backwards and nearly fell over. His eyes were still spinning but they were back to their normal yellow color. "Urgh, I was going to pay for the damages but I don't think I want to now." he groaned. "Wait? Have the drugs worn off?" asked Dan, confused. He looked to ask the rest of the mares, but they were pretty far ahead. "Yes, the drugs wore off." said Long Shot flatly. Gavin giggled once again and Rainbow Dash joined him this time. "Hey Long Shot, good to see you're okay!" chucked the mare. "Hey Dash." he returned with a half smile. Long Shot brushed the dust from his coat and coughed loudly. "So... What was that about paying for the damages?" asked Dan quickly. "Well, I was going to pay for the damages to the road and everypony’s medical bills.. It was mostly my fault and, well, I'm pretty loaded to be honest." Long Shot replied coolly. "Was going to?" questioned Gavin. "Well, I dunno... I might still pay..." he hinted, looking at Dan. "Oh right, sorry!" chuckled Dan with a smile.
