//------------------------------// // Step Two for World Takeover // Story: The Eldest // by Authora97 //------------------------------// The world slowly became clear, she felt cold and dirty. Not like she had been assaulted, but like somepony had rubbed dirt all over her... or blood. Her feet were slumped on the ground, she could barely stand. The chains were making her wrists chaff, holding up a majority of her weight. “hello...” Her voice croaked. The low lighting made it next to impossible to see anything. Silence reigned in the room. She tried to use magic, but found it wasn’t working. “Is somepony there?” A chuckle echoed off whatever walls surrounded her. “So the Freak awakes! I was beginning to think I had killed you.” Asa could hear the regretful sigh that followed. “Though I would love for that to be the ending, I have to keep you alive until...” The mare’s voice taunted. “until what...” The what in that sentenc sounded more like a bad cough than a word. “Until I’ve crushed you family, what’s left of it anyway.” Asa tried to move out of her chains, they were too strong and she couldn’t even see whoever was doing this to her. Her captor’s laughter filled the room as Asa continued to fight against the chains. “Oh, this is rich. Tell me Asa...what is your plan after you kill me HAhahaha!” The captor taunted. The Queen realized her point, she didn’t even know where she was. How would she get home? “Ugh, it’s too dark in here and I would love to see your face when you see me.” As if it was the cue word, someponies magic flared. It lit the candles that had been placed along the room. It certainly made it easier for Asa to see where she was and whom her captor was. She didn’t like either answer. This was the place she had spent three thousand years, frozen in time as nothing more than a lawn ornament. Sure it was empty of just about everything, but it was in favor of the captor. She was terrifying. The crazed alicorn with a deep blue mane with dark purple streaks with looking at Asa like she had just defeated some great foe. Asa could barely see her cutiemark (a bloody sunrise) but it scared her to wonder what that meant for her family. When the orange alicorn stepped forward Asa tried to take a step back. This made the alicorn laugh. “You thought that would work?” The alicorn taunted. She walked slowly towards Asa, making her fear every second. After a minute of this, the villain was face to face with Asa. Allowing her to see a familiar set of midnight blue eyes. Asa shook her head for a moment but a deep blue aura wrapping around her head causing her to stop. “Oh, have I ruined the surprise? Drat, I was hoping to have a little more fun.” The crazed mare taunted. “how...?” Asa asked, still trying to stand on her legs. Her captor only laughed, “Why would I tell you that Freak?” Asa flinched, that very word stung to her very core. “Oh...did I hit a nerve?” “Why...” Asa asked, a single tear burning in the back of her eye. The alicorn rolled her eyes. Asa would not stop talking. “Because Freak those ponies, my people, want a good, strong, leader. Now, tell me how they’re gonna get it when their current one isn’t even the same species?” Asa took this into consideration, it was like this alicorn was trying to insult her in every way she could think of. “What is thy name?” Asa asked. “Still going back to Old Equestrian I see.” She taunted. “Cease with thou infernal racket. We care not for you plight. Release Us and We just might let the off lightly!” Asa yelled, going into Old Equestrian. “Oh, since you asked nicely. I guess I could tell you my name. Plus, what fun is killing you if you don’t even know my name?” The alicorn asked. Asa only growled in response. “Ugh, you’re going feral. Okay, my name is... Blood Dawn.” If the situation wasn’t so scary, Asa would’ve laughed. “I know, the name is perfect. I can’t wait for our Sister’s to see me like this. Do you think they’ll be surprised?” Blood Dawn asked while her wings flared out. Asa stared Blood Dawn in the eye, going as far as the chains would let her. “Our Family shall see thru thou’s deceit! Our Sister’s must already be aware of Our absence!” Blood Dawn just laughed evilly, “They would if I didn’t cast an illusion spell on your bed so they would think you’re still in there.” Asa’s eyes widened. “They shall still see thru it Demon!” Asa yelled. “Demon? Me? That would make you one too Freak.” Blood taunted. “DO NOT CALL US THAT INFERNAL NAME!” Asa yelled using the Royal Canterlot Voice. The voice managed to blow some of Blood’s hair back. Dawn quickly fixed it with her hoof and gave Asa a death glare. “WE SHALL CALL YOU WHAT WE WISH FREAK! THOU SHALT FEEL GRATEFUL I HAVE LET THOU LIVE! WE COULD HAVE KILLED THE MANY, MANY TIMES DURING THE NIGHT YET WE YIELDED!” Blood Dawn yelled, using the same voice as Asa. To be truthful, they both had the same voice. It was identical. Asa fought against her chains, harder. She didn’t have the massive strength of her Sisters, but the Magic of Equestria had slowly granted her the same level of strength as Applejack, Big Macintosh and Rainbow Dash rolled into one. Blood rolled her eyes, giving Asa a face along the lines of ‘you really want me to do this?’. When Asa continued to struggle, Blood turned away from the human... And swiftly bucked her in the gut. The force pushed Asa back into the stone wall, making it hurt that much more. She cried out in pain. The buck also knocked the air out of her, making her gasp repeatedly to steady her breathing. Blood Dawn gave a crazed laugh as her horn glowed dark blue. “Feel lucky Freak, I could’ve used all my strength.” Asa shut her eyes tight, Blood Dawn held back? “Now, you will be staying here for a long, long time. I suggest you follow my instructions to the letter. Nopony knows to look here for you. Nopony shall notice you’ve vanished. Nopony will care.” With this, the blue glow covered Blood Dawn. Her orange form was covered with a dark blue light and it shifted so she was of similar height to Asa. When the light faded, a near perfect (her eyes were still crazed if you looked hard enough) clone of Asa. She was even wearing a red dress Asa had in her room. “Pretty good right? I spent some time studying some of the spells those bugs used. They came in handy when I needed to spy on you.” Not Asa leaned close to the still slouched over Asa. “Do you think Discord will buy it?” The tear that burned in Asa’s eye was released as a dark thought entered her head. She wouldn’t be going back home. Discord floated along the halls of Canterlot Palace. Using his magic on a few things here and there but made sure to turn them back, lest one of the help finds it and tells Celestia. It was fun though to mess things up in the many things inside the grand palace halls. He also, couldn’t get his mind off what happened the night before. Asa had kissed him clear on the cheek. His eagle claw reached up to the very same cheek, he didn't notice it moved until Discord felt the claw on his cheek. The Lord of Chaos began to think (something he didn't normal do too often) about how he would talk with Asa next time. Or maybe he would wait for Asa to say something. Yeah, that sounded alright. While floating by one hall, Discord noticed Asa walking out of a room with a big brown door and metal locks over it. She was wearing a very beautiful red dress that Discord thought made her eyes look more blue, and the rest of her even more beautiful. When the human turned to face the chimera, Discord noticed a quick change of face. Asa looked a little terrifying until she saw Discord. “Hey Dissy,” Asa cheered in her usual voice, “are you okay about last night?” Discord waved a paw. “Why yes, of course I am!” Discord gave his best smile, “In fact I feel like a million bits.” In a snap, Discord's chimera form was gone and golden bits filled its place. “See?” Bit Discord pointed out. “A million bits.” Asa laughed at Discord's strange ways, but he noticed it was not her usual laugh. One he kinda liked hearing. The voice behind the laugh sounded cold and uncaring. With another snap of his claw, Discord was normal(well, his original form) with a slightly more awkward smile on his face. “Well I should get going. Much more chaos to be had in the morning!” *flash* Asa looked around the now empty hall, her happy expression changed to one of malice. “Huh, love truly is blind. Freak will be so disappointed to hear about this.” Asa remained silent for another second. “I should tell her right away.” Asa cheered, her hand glowing dark blue before she flashed away. Cruel laughter floated along the large hall as she did.
