Chapter 2: The First Battle
Twilight and Applejack sat stunned at the spectacle they were witnessing. A group of wanted space pirates were standing up to the empire that had literally destroyed half of the town. Who were these pirates and why would they risk their lives to save a few mares and fillies? It just didn’t make sense to Twilight.
“Applejack are you seeing this?”
“Yea and ah’m just as surprised as you are.”
“Wait, you don’t think that they might be one of those Super Sentai fellers from a few years ago?”
“Well they do have the same style and team aesthetic of all the ones we saw before, so they could in fact be the new team. “
While this discussion was sparked, the pirates had managed to fight off a majority of the Gormin troops but no matter how many they defeated, five more would take their place.
“Jeez there is just no end to these guys.” Luka said.
“Let’s finish them with something special guys.
“You mean that?” Don asked surprisingly.
“Yep.”
Alright let’s do this.
At this moment the pirates pressed the button on their belts all revealing a ranger key corresponding to their colored suit.
“GOKAI CHANGE!”
GORANGER!
“Hey twilight what is that?
“It looks like the very first Super Sentai team, Himitsu Sentai Goranger if I’m correct.”
“Wait how are they doing that Twilight? Ah’ thought each team had their own powers.”
“Well it looks like those keys can transform them into the each team allowing them to use each of their powers, only in a weaker form.”
Both of them watched as they used the various powers of the Super Sentai to defeat the entire invasion force and even managed to defeat the force commander as well.
Twilight took the first step to talk to them right after the battle as the pirates were talking amongst themselves.
“Who are you?”
“Hello, my names Twilight Sparkle. I was wondering how you guys got a hold of all those Super Sentai powers.
“Super Sentai?”
Yea all those teams you used, Shinkenger, Magiranger, and Goranger are all warriors from our planet.
“I can show you all of this back at the library.”
“Applejack do think you can handle getting the fillies back to their homes by yourself?”
“Don’t worry sugercube. I’ll make sure the filles get home safe.”
“Alright well once your done come meet us at the library.”
Later at the library….
“Spike I need to find the “Super Sentai encyclopedia .”
“Found it! It was right here on this shelf I was re-organizing. Convenient.”
“All right take a look at this.
So these are the Super Sentai teams then?
Yep, this all the information on them plus a few pictures of the Legendary War.
Hey why are you guys here in the first place?”
“We’re here to find the greatest treasure in the universe. Have you heard anything about it?”
“Not really. If it’s a treasure I can assume it’s hidden.”
Well then looks like our search continues.”
“Wait, won’t you guys need some help to look for this treasure?”
“Hmmm, If you really want to come along meet us at the Gokaigalleon tomorrow.”
“Great Ill see you then. Twilight what are you doing?
Spike I need to find out what their true intentions are. They could just be putting up a front about this whole treasure thing. As Celestia’s prized pupil It’s my duty to find out.”
Alright fine, but just make sure you stay safe okay?
“Oh Spike Ill be fine I doubt we’ll be in any danger. Whats the worst thing that could happen?”
