Chapter 5: Magic Makes Us All Complete

Meanwhile, as Tichondrius entered the court, Nai and Mea were standing at the rocky ledge just right beside him.

“Lord Tichondrius,” Nai asked, “Why did he go to the trouble of delaying it?”

“He could commence the invasion on that world right now,” Mea continued.

“Don’t know,” answered Tichondrius, “It’s the rule that Infernus made. And the demon lords and even the legion itself will always follow the rules they create. That is the dark precept.”

Back in the library, upstairs, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Fluttershy and Spike were all sitting in one dining table as Twilight who was carrying a plate of cups of tea, gave each of them one slice of the pancake she baked.

Twilight approached to the disgruntled Yeshuah just standing behind, saying, “Come on, you too, Yeshuah. Hurry and sit.”

“I don’t want any,” Yeshuah replied, “I’m not in the mood.”

“Come on, come on,” Twilight was pushing Yeshuah to the table.

“Why should I at a time like this?!” asked Yeshuah angrily.

“It’s delicious…” answered Twilight Sparkle.

“Stop it!!” interrupted Yeshuah as he pushed her away, making her let go of her magic and thus, the plate fell, the cups broke and the tea spilled on the floor.

Everypony noticed and were startled by the breaking sound.

Twilight looked at the broken cups with spilled tea and Yeshuah grunted and looked away.

Twilight turned her face to the rest of the seven, which is soaked by tears flowing freely from her eyes.

“I’ll… refill your tea…” she choked back from her tears.

“Go away,” Yeshuah talked back, “You’re a pain to me. You’re a pain to be a princess.”

“Why you--!!” responded Rainbow in anger as she was about to flap her wings, but Applejack stopped her, saying, “Sugarcube, please.”

Twilight ran away downstairs, sobbing.

“Here,” Pinkie Pie, with a grumpy look on her face, approached to Yeshuah, trying to give him a plate of a slice of pancakes.

“I already said I don’t want…” said Yeshuah.

“You will eat it even if you don’t want to,” Pinkie demanded, “Okay? Please, Yeshuah?”

Yeshuah grabbed the plate and sat beside Applejack. He sliced a small piece with a fork and placed it in his mouth. As he chewed and swallowed the small slice, his eyes widened and Yeshuah gave one word, “Delicious.”

Pinkie smiled and nodded.

He grabbed the whole slice with his magic and ate a part of it with his mouth.

“What a gentle sweetness,” he commented.

“If you would ask, that is Princess Celestia’s pancake,” said Spike, approaching to the stallion sweetened by the taste of Twilight’s pancake, “My pal, Twilight told me that story before, when she was filly and when the fighting between Princess’s students escalated, Princess Celestia always baked sweet, delicious pancake with fresh butter and tangy syrup.”

One day, back during Twilight’s days as a filly in Canterlot, in the dining room, there were three colts fighting and four fillies, two in which they’re trying to stop the fight and the other one trying to comfort Twilight who was depressed by the fighting.

Princess Celestia entered the room and approached to the seven young ponies, kinetically carrying a plate of a pancake coated in butter and syrup and sliced in eight and saying, “I’m here. I baked pancakes.”

The princess placed the plate at the table. The colts stopped fighting and the seven ponies went to their seats, and each of them got a slice.

As they ate, they were pleased and responded to its sweetness.

“When you eat sweet, delicious things,” said Princess Celestia who sat, “your feelings of irritation are washed away. You feel more relaxed.”

The princess of the sun smiled at little Twilight, and she smiled back. Twilight looked at the slice of pancake her teacher made for her most faithful student. She never felt happy shortly after a bad fight, until that horrible day which became a good day for everypony, especially for the young ponies who had fought earlier.

The rest of the five were intrigued and gave comments,

“The Princess sure is nice,” Applejack said as she grabbed her slice.

“Yeah… If you eat this, you’ll never imagine how sweet this is,” Rainbow continued.

“Correct,” said Pinkie Pie, “This is Princess Celestia’s flavor.”

“The flavor of good heartedness,” continued Fluttershy.

“The flavor of harmony,” resumed Rarity, “It’s sweet as ever.”

“I’m sure Twilight wanted you to return to your usual kind self, so she baked pancakes,” Pinkie Pie continued.

“I’m sure you will enjoy the pancake the way we all do,” Spike said to the Son of God, “She knows that you are a kind and sweet-hearted pony, and you will never be such a big meanie. Twilight will love to see your good side again.”
Yeshuah took another bite on his slice. As he bit, he suddenly realized, left the room and went downstairs to see the Princess of Magic.

Yeshuah saw Twilight sobbing on the floor next to a book shelf. To see the princess crying, he felt struck and sorry and he regretted his foolish deeds he had done awhile ago which made Twilight weep. He closed his eyes and flattened his ears in regret, slowly walked towards her. She noticed him. Yeshuah noticed Twilight’s eyes were red from her crying.

As Twilight approached to him, Yeshuah pulled her close with his forehooves and kissed her tears away, whispering to the alicorn mare, “I’m sorry for being rude. I hope you can forgive me for what I have done to you.”

She then gently broke off the hug and said, “Yeshuah… there is something I want to say.”

“Yeah?” he asked.

Twilight suddenly smiled and pointed her hoof on her left cheek near her mouth, saying, “Got something there.”

Yeshuah startled and noticed that there was a leftover left on his left side of the mouth from the slice he ate earlier. He wiped the dirt away from his mouth. The two alicorns laughed afterwards, with Twilight forgetting the sorrow she just went through.

“It was delicious…” said Yeshuah, “Twilight Sparkle’s Princess Celestia’s pancake.”

“So you know the story?” Twilight chuckled, “That’s good. So is my pancake.”

As she turned around from the Champion of Light, Yeshuah placed his hoof on her foreleg and made her turn around in front of the Son of God.

“And I realized something,” Yeshuah finally said and decided of a different choice, “Celestia must be saved by you, girls. Heaven and hell’s legends might be absolute, but that’s no reason for giving up. Like her and her sister, Luna, chance is something you create. And harmony is something chance creates. My wife told me about that once… and Twilight Sparkle’s pancake made me remember that!”

However, they noticed that Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Fluttershy and Spike were watching them the whole time from the back.

“Busted!” smiled Spike.

Twilight blushed and turned away in embarrassment.

“I forgot that you are Princess Celestia’s most faithful subjects,” said Yeshuah to the six mares and the baby dragon, then, to Twilight Sparkle, “that you are Princess Celestia’s most faithful student… and that I am Princess Celestia’s most faithful father!”

Twilight turned around, chuckled and hugged Yeshuah. The alicorn mare and stallion snuggled their noses with each other.

As they broke the hug, Yeshuah ordered, “Alright, everypony, let’s fight together!”

All the seven nodded.

At the Ponyville town grounds, all the townsfolk ponies were watching the town hall be burnt away as the flame Infernus casted on the large building just a few hours ago was dying.

“It’s… It’s extinguishing,” the ponies cried in panic, “It’s extinguishing!”

Finally, the flame died out.

“The flame’s extinguished!” townsponies whined.

The town hall, black from being burnt, finally collapsed to the ground.

“It’s gone!” cried the ponies of Ponyville, “The flame… the town hall!”

“Noooooooooo!!!” cried the Mayor Mare, falling to her knees in defeat to see her town hall destroyed, “My town hall!”

The skies again became dark in burning red and Infernus impacted and landed on the ground like a meteor that crashes on the ground.

As the sky returned to normal, Infernus declared, “Your time of penitence is over. But earlier, since some mortals fought me, there has been a change of plans. I alone will destroy the world and kill you all in a quicker and more painful way!”

He stomped and growled, “Prepare to die!!!

Infernus roared as his entire body glowed in orange and flamed at the same time, emitted huge flames of energy, creating a large fireball just above him.

The ponies ran away from him in tremble and despair, knowing it was already the end for all of them.

Just around the corner, on top of the roof of a house, Demon Lord Tichondrius and Phantom Spy Vancuria were watching from there.

“What a large ball of fire!” commented the gray bat-winged alicorn on the huge flaming ball on top of the abyssal demon lord.

“That’s right. When that falls and impacts the surface,” he said, “the whole mortal world will be burned away to ashes.”

“Prepare to take this, foolish mortals!!” the Demon Abyssal Lord roared, as he was about to prepare to take his move. However, a ray of colors of the rainbow hit Infernus and he fell. The ball of fire vanished like a bubble.

“Damn you!” screamed Infernus to the six mares, who fired the ray from their Elements of Harmony, in which they are armed for battle.

“So you girls weren’t forbidden to fight?!” hissed the abyssal.

Yeshuah leapt in to the scene, ready to battle, and said, “Make that ‘6 girls 1 guy’!”

“So you’re going to fight?” said Infernus, “Very well. Then let’s have a game!”

“Game?” said Rarity in confusion.

Infernus fired a beam of fire blast at the Ponyville Radio Tower, causing it to burn the same way the damaged Town Hall was burnt. The seven ponies looked at the scene and were surprised at that.

“If I defeat you all before this fire is gone, I win,” Infernus explained, “If even one pony survives, you ‘6 girls 1 guy’ win.”

“What’s with that rule?” snorted Rainbow Dash.

“If I just fought you ponies, it’d be boring,” he replied, “So I’m giving you a handicap. This is to enhance my enjoyment!”

“A new rule,” complimented Tichondrius watching them, “How interesting!”

“Stop screwing around!” Rainbow scoffed as she concentrated on her Element and fired a red lightning beam from the red jewel in the Element of Loyalty. Just before the red lightning blast was about to reach Infernus, he glared at the attack and evaporated it.

“Do you think you’re any match for a fire lord like me?!” he mocked as he shot a blast of fire from his fiery chest. The blast sent the daredevil mare flying.

“Why I oughta--!” Applejack yelled as she next fired a beam of orange color from her Element at Infernus, however, he was able to evaporate the attack.

“What the hay?!” cried the orange earth pony.

“Again!” said Yeshuah, running to the mares, “He evaporates all attacks he glares at!”

Infernus, feeling invulnerable since he can evaporate all kinds and sorts of ranged attacks and flame up his fire blasts from the evaporated attacks, mockingly laughed as he burst out flames from his chest towards the seven, which badly hit and made them collapse. Each pony groaned in mixture of pain and anger.

“Your attacks cannot reach me!” the demon lord laughed, “We can’t have a game like this; can we now?”

“We’re not going to lose!” shouted Twilight as she determinedly stood up and pointed her horn at Infernus.

“Twilight!” her friends cried as they saw Twilight not willing to stay down and give in.

“Because,” said Twilight, “this fight isn’t just to keep harmony and safety in Equestria! It’s also to save Princess Celestia… it’s also so we can have again the princess who we loved and adored the most!”

As she finished, her horned shined and sparkled.

Yeshuah stood up and approached to the lavender alicorn, saying, “You’ve been granted a new spell. Twilight Sparkle, it’s time!” and she nodded.

Magi Golu Magika!” Twilight yelled as she made her horn glow from magenta to bright pure white, “Magical Smash!” From her horn, a very huge ball of pink energy was created in front of her.

The ball of energy was fired at Infernus. However, just because it can reach him, he again evaporated the ball away, leaving heavy steam around Infernus. The abyssal laughed evilly.

“Didn’t work!” cried Pinkie, “Even Twilight’s new magic can’t reach him!”

“No attack can come near me!” laughed Infernus evilly.

“How about this?” Yeshuah’s voice came out.

“What?!” Infernus, puzzled, turned to his left.

As the fog disappeared, it turned out that Yeshuah was beside Infernus, with his horn pointed and placed directly at his rocky body. It seemed that Yeshuah went close to Infernus without being spotted in that fog.

Luuma Gogika Goludo!

Yeshuah’s horn glowed and fired super-close at Infernus, causing the demon to back away leaving sparks bursting from his body. He knelt in pain.

“Infernus! You can only burn up what you can glare at!” explained the white stallion, “So all I had to do is get near without you realizing. Twilight’s steam helped cloud your eyes.”

“That’s right,” Twilight replied.

“What?” said Rainbow Dash cooingly, “Not bad, you two.”

“That’s nothing, Dashie,” the lavender alicorn chuckled, “We’re just doing what we can.” As Twilight turned around, she saw Yeshuah winking at her and blushed.

“Aww, shucks,” cooed Twilight.

The mane six and Yeshuah turned their attention to Infernus, as he stood up and groaned in anger, “Damn you!”

Infernus’ body began to set ablaze on fire as the size of his body reverted back into its huge height.

“Because of the damage, my body returned to its normal size,” roared the demon lord.

The seven ponies gasped in shock as they looked up on Infernus who became big.

“That’s just great. How are goin’ to fight that?!” Applejack groaned.

“Don’t worry, girls,” Yeshuah answered, “We can do this. I’ll render Infernus vulnerable and weaken him, and you, girls, will use the Elements to defeat him.”

“Right!” the six mares replied.

“How dare you do this to me!” Infernus bellowed, “Unforgivable!!!”

Yeshuah opened up his wings for takeoff and flapped them as he flew up in the air.

Luludo Golu Gogika! Divine Whirlwind!” the Champion of Light yelled as his horn glowed and he spun around rapidly, creating a whirlwind around Yeshuah towards Infernus.

The whirlwind sent Infernus flying and stumbling to the ground. He fell and groaned in pain as response to Yeshuah’s attack.

“Now! Everypony!” cried Yeshuah to the six bearers of the Elements.

“Yeah!” Twilight and the others responded.

Infernus moaned and slowly stood up. Before taking his move, the mane six made their signature attack.

As they activate the Elements of Harmony, they fired a beam of rainbow towards Infernus.

However, the huge abyssal opened his eyes wide and glared at the attack from the Elements, thus evaporating it. Twilight, Rainbow, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie and Fluttershy were all shocked that Infernus could also evaporate the magical force emitted from their Elements of Harmony.

“I thought I told you I’m immune to mortal attacks!” Infernus growled.

“This fo’ real!?” responded Applejack.

“He even took out the magical powers from the Elements of Harmony!” Yeshuah said as he landed on the ground beside the six heroines.

“Unbelievable!” Pinkie shouted in disappointment.

“I can’t believe he was able to take it!” Fluttershy said.

“I can’t believe that rockhead managed to stay alive!” the rainbow-maned mare yelled.

On a house where Vancuria and Tichondrius stood, the Phantom Spy responded in awe to what she witnessed, “Just to be expected from a demon lord. Now things will turn around!”

“No. It’s too late, Infernus,” Tichondrius said negatively.

Infernus turned around to see Vancuria and Tichondrius on the roof of the house, and responded to them with a, “What?!”

The dreadlord pointed his finger to the Ponyville Radio Tower burnt, bent and broken and its flame Infernus casted completely died out.

Infernus became shocked at that and muttered to himself, “The flame! It’s gone!”

At Tartarus, in the demon lords’ court, the ten demon lords were watching the battle through a vision projected on the Slab of Judgment.

All of them were disappointed to see Infernus defeated in his own “game”.

“Dark precept:” Kel’thuzad explained, “‘One: If one does not follow one’s own ceremonial rules… they will atone for it with death.”

“Fool!” Archimonde roared as he clenched his fists in anger and fired a ball of green energy towards the image projected on the Slab.

The ball of green energy was transported to where Infernus was, and penetrated inside of the abyssal demon lord.

Infernus moaned in agony as the deadly ball Archimonde fired entered inside his body, and knelt to the ground. He clenched his hand on his chest in total pain.

“What’s going on?!” Rainbow was puzzled at what happened.

“Just because I lost the game…” groaned Infernus as he stood up, although struggling from the agonizing pain in him, “doesn’t mean you will live. You will fall from my comrades who will follow.”

“Wait!” Rarity said, “Where is Princess Celestia?! Give our princess back!”

“Defeat the demon lord who has a thorn garden…” Infernus answered, looking down on the seven ponies, “If you do that, you can probably save her.”

“What?!” Yeshuah responded.

“Which one is that?!” Applejack asked.

“If you fight the remaining ten demon lords one by one, you’ll know someday,” Infernus gasped as he was on the verge of death, “However… this will be a bloodier path than you can imagine!”

His time was up. Infernus wailed at the top of his lungs, as he was immediately turned to stone. Afterwards, the petrified demon lord exploded and burst into a pile of rubble.

“Dark precept! How powerful it is!” Vancuria responded to Infernus’ imminent destruction.

”The Dark Precepts must be strictly observed and followed,” Tichondrius spoke, “Otherwise, the Supreme Ruler of Hell won’t be reincarnated.”

“The birth of Sargeras the Dark Titan… is our wish!” he said in pride as he walked away and teleported back to Tartarus.

“Sargeras is going to be reborn?!” the gray vampire-like alicorn asked in surprise to what she heard. Vancuria turned around but she saw that Tichondrius was already out of sight.

Vancuria, confused at what she heard, warped back to the world of hell, Tartarus.

Later, at sunset, in the meadow fields near Ponyville, Twilight Sparkle, Spike, Yeshuah, and her friends, tired after the fighting, were standing next to each other and watching the wonderful view of a sunset.

“Look at the sun; as beautiful as ever,” said Applejack, “Just like the way Princess Celestia rises and sets it.”

“But, aren’t we feeling guilty after we had just done?” Fluttershy questioned.

Pinkie Pie nodded and answered the shy pegasus, “Looks like we went against Heaven’s sayings.”

“It’ll be hard, but… we can do this!” Rarity replied.

“We’ll save Princess Celestia. We will change the fate of Equestria, the world and the world of Heaven,” Princess Twilight said.

“It’ll be okay,” responded Rainbow Dash, “I’m sure we can do it. We are subjects of Princess Celestia herself. We can overcome anything that comes.”

“Nothing is impossible as long as we are bonded as friends,” Spike continued, “No worries, right?”

“That’s right,” Yeshuah replied, and turning to Twilight, he said, “As long as you— no… we carry the friendship within ourselves, anything is possible.”

Twilight and Yeshuah hugged each other. After the hug broke, the eight watched the sun set at the horizon. It was a beautiful sight to watch the sunset. But who knows when will Burning Legion attack again? Who will they send if that happened? Will Twilight Sparkle and the others be able to handle the coming conflicts? They have to answer those questions themselves.
