Epilogue
You sat down on a bench on your porch as a small tan brown pegasus colt with a black mane was sleeping on your lap. The front door opened as Derpy walked out with a batch of muffins and lemonade. "Hi honey." You greet with a warm smile as she gives a small giggle at the sleeping colt and set's down the treats on the coffee table, she sits down next to you as she rests her head on your shoulder, you didn't mind one bit.
"I can't believe we are like this." Derpy said in a soft tone.
"I know, two kids, a better house, and best of all, this was all thanks to The Doctor." You remembered as you could hear a distinct 'whirring' sound coming from the back yard. You give a sharp grin as you take your hand and slowly shake the colt as his eyes fluttered open to reveal his misshaped green eyes.
"Yes dad?"
"He's here Woozy, The Doctor's here to play." You announce as the young colt leaps up from your lap. The front door busts open to reveal Ditzy wearing a bow tie.
"C'mon Woozy, The Doctor's here!" Ditzy announced as he ran back inside with Woozy following her from behind.
You give a satisfying sigh as Derpy cuddles up to you closer. "Y'know, all of this wouldn't of never happened if I delivered the wrong mail." Said Derpy as she gives a soft giggle.
"And If I haven't come to apologize, I wouldn't be with the best mare in the world." You say as Derpy leans in her head as she presses her lips against your. She locks her lips with a bliss like chocolate as your kiss lasts for seconds. The two of you break your blissful kiss as she lies her head on your lap.
"I love you." Derpy said in a soft tone as she dozed off into a comfortable sleep.
