Shining Small

Truth Be Told

Cadance trotted down the extravagant hall of the Canterlot Hotel to a room that read ‘252’ in brass letters, and opened the door. “I’m back, Shining! You wouldn’t believe how many ponies actually followed me until I got to the stairs. I mean, have they never seen an alicorn in a dress before—” She thought for a moment about Celestia and Luna’s fashion statements. “Actually, they probably haven't, now that I think about it.” Cadance carefully let the oak door shut behind her, and gazed into the room, spotting nothing but furniture. “Shining, are you in here?”

Her ears perked towards a shuffling noise in the bedroom.

“Shining?” she called, moving toward the noise.

Cadance opened the bedroom door slowly, only to find her newly-wedded husband sitting on the massive bed, his eyes looking towards the carpet below. She sighed in relief. “You scared me half to death, mister! Didn’t you hear me call for you?”

Shining Armor shrugged.

She closed the bedroom door and looked at him. He was twiddling his hooves together and his ears were laid flat against his head. “Hey, are you okay?” She asked, her tone worried.

Again, he shrugged.

Cadance stomped her hooves against the soft carpet in annoyance. “Will you stop shrugging and tell me what’s wrong?!”

Shining Armor’s eyes tried to focus on anything but his wife as he shuffled his hooves.“Um, Cadance, I kind of have a secret that I haven't told anypony before...”

Cadance cocked her head to the side, her voice softened to a slightly less irritated tone, “Oh, what is it love?”

“U-uh, well it’s very um...” Shining’s voice cracked, and he shook his head and dropped to a whisper, “Personal.”

Cadance walked over to the bed and sat beside him on top of the fluffy blankets. “Come on, you can tell me, Shining. I mean, is it that you’re not a virgin or—”

Shining’s head shot up. “Oh no, I am. I mean um... Well, it’s just, uh, embarrassing...”

“You can tell me anything, you know,” she reassured him, placing a hoof around her husband’s shoulders and pulled him in for a gentle hug. “I will still love you.”

“Not as much as you do now...”

Cadance sat up with determination in her eyes. “Yes I will! Why in Celestia’s name would you think that?!”

Shining sighed. “Because I won’t be able to make you as happy as I should.”

Cadance laid her head against his shoulder. “But you always make me so happy, Shining. Whatever it is, you can tell me.”

“I guess.” Shining nodded and looked down at his hooves. After a moment, he gulped, and mumbled, “am shalg.”

“What was that?”

“I’m shall...”

“Say again please, a little loude—”

“I’M SMALL, OKAY?!” Shining nearly screamed. He looked up to see Cadance’s shocked face, and his shoulders slumped. “I’m sorry.”

She held up her hooves. “It’s okay, it’s okay, it just caught me off guard. That’s all.”

“I wouldn’t expect any less, I suppose,” he said, staring at the ground. “So, are you disappointed?”

The pink mare shook her head and laughed. “Of course not! I don’t care that you’re small or not, silly.”

Shining Armor’s ears flicked up and down on his head as he tried to comprehend what she was saying. He had to have misheard her right? “B-but I can’t even pleasure you the way other stallions can,” he stammered, “and you p-probably won’t even climax and—”

Cadance brushed his cheek with a small kiss. “And who cares about them? I’m married to you, remember?”

He brushed her hoof off of his shoulder and laid on the bed. “So? It doesn’t mean you’ll like having sex with me.”

“I will too, Shining!” Cadance laid down and wrapped her legs around his sturdy, yet soft, chest from behind “You know why? I will love it because it’s with you, not just for because of your penis.”

Shining felt her warm body pressed against him and smiled a little. “You’re too nice, you know that?”

She blushed at the compliment and giggled. “So I’ve heard.”

He turned around to face his wife. Her purple eyes were full of not judgement, but love. He ran a hoof through her mane, loosening some strands of her mane from her bridal tiara. A few pieces fell in front of her eyes as he laid his head on her chest. Her bridal gown felt silky on his cheek. “How in the world did I get so lucky to have you?”

She snuggled against him. “Maybe because I practically lived at your house until you left for the academy?”

Shining Armor chuckled. “Those were some crazy times, huh?

She nodded and smiled. “Remember when Twilight tried to build a book fort to the ceiling, and how it took us nearly an hour to unbury the living room after it all came tumbling down?”

They both laughed, remembering the look on the little filly’s face, a deep pout etched onto her face and carved into their memories.

Shining propped himself up on his foreleg. “Cadance?”

“Yes, love?” She batted her eyelashes at him.

The stallion felt his face flush. “So you really don’t mind me, you know...”

Cadance sighed and gently laid a hoof on his cheek. “I really don’t, Shining. You worry too much.” She pulled his face to hers and enveloped him in a kiss. The butterflies in Shining’s stomach turned to tornadoes, but as quickly as they had they came, they subsided. Her lips were dancing on top of his, and soon their tongues met, entwining with each other.

Shining Armor pulled her close as they exchanged kisses.

She really didn’t care about his size, just as long as she had him, she was happy. He felt her hoof creep down his chest, brushing softly through his fur. As it made its way down between his thighs, it sent a shudder of delight and pleasure through his spine. He smiled through the kiss. Looks like tonight would be enjoyable after all.
