"Awright! We're all set!" Apple Bloom declared, grinning at Sweetie Belle.
"You got it! When Scootaloo gets here, we'll commence operation Cutie Mark Crusader Lemonade Stand!" Sweetie Belle clapped her hooves eagerly.
Apple Bloom nodded, looking along the lemonade stand they had set up. It was a simple, basic kind that just about every colt and filly would set up. A stand, with a sign above it advertising that they were selling lemonade for two bits a glass. An assortment of paper cups, a little jar for their money, and a pitcher of lemonade sat on the stand, awaiting to serve.
"Still...the lemonade looks more like it's pink and purple. Why's that?" Sweetie Belle wanted to know, pointing at the pitcher.
"Ah guess makin' pink lemonade kinda did that?" Apple Bloom shrugged.
Before Sweetie Belle could say anything further. Rainbow Dash walked up to the stand, overlooking it. She then grinned, waving at the two.
"Hey, squirts! Setting up a lemonade stand, huh?" She said.
"Uh-huh!" Sweetie Belle nodded. "We're waiting for Scootaloo, but you can buy a cup now if you want!"
Rainbow chuckled, taking out some bits and tossing them into the cup. "Here you go! Lemonade sounds good right about now, anyway!"
"Comin' right up!" Said Apple Bloom, pouring some lemonade into a cup.
"Oh! A lemonade stand!" Fluttershy had approached the stand, looking gleeful. "That's so cute, girls... May I have some, too?"
The girls nodded, and Fluttershy paid for a cup as well. Apple Bloom pushed the full cups over to the two pegasi, which they took.
"Heh, bottoms up, Fluttershy!" Rainbow grinned.
Giggling, Fluttershy nodded. "Oh, you said it, Rainbow."
The pegasi drank down the lemonade, finishing their cups in one sip. Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle watched them anxiously, hoping that their lemonade was good. But then, the moment that Rainbow and Fluttershy exchanged looks, the strangest occurrence happened. Both their eyes swirled with colours, which then frightened Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle.
They'd seen this before...when it occurred between Big Macintosh and Cheerilee.
"Oh no!! They drank a love poison!" Apple Bloom realized.
"How did that happen?! We didn't even make one!" Sweetie Belle cried.
Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash was giggling like a school filly as she gazed lovingly at Fluttershy. "Heeeyy there snuggy-wuggy-buggy...why aren't you closer? I miss you..."
"Awww...I miss you too, nibbly-wibbly-dibbly...I'll come closer!" Fluttershy giggled, closing the distance between them and hugging her friend.
Both fillies watched in horror as both pegasi were now cooing and giggling all over each other like lovestruck fools. This was when Scootaloo showed up, pulling a wagon from around her waist, with a pitcher yellow lemonade inside it.
"Girls, I've got to tell you! You took the wrong lemonade! It was supposed to be-...oh." Scootaloo caught on to what was going on. "Darn it! I made it wrong!"
"What?!" Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle exclaimed in unison.
"You made a love poison?!" Sweetie Belle cried.
Scootaloo shook her head. "No! I was trying to make a love potion! I just didn't know how and I guess I ended up with a love poison!"
Now Apple Bloom was both scared and confused. "Then why were ya makin' a love potion?!"
Embarrassed, Scootaloo looked over to Rainbow and Fluttershy, biting her lip. "...I was trying to get Rainbow Dash together with Fluttershy. I thought they'd be great together."
"...Ohhh...." The other two fillies said, understanding.
Looking at the two pegasi, they were now sprawled on the ground...kissing. A lot. The fillies blinked, turning pink and feeling unsure about what to do.
"...Guess we gotta find a way ta break 'em apart..." Apple Bloom sighed.
