Chapter 4 – Fuck magic

"Where is she!" You hold your hooves around Spike as you shake him not knowing what else to do.

Spike tries to talk through your shaking, "I....Don't.....k-know....it was teleporting."

You continue your shaking as you talk, "What Does That MEAN?"

Rainbow holds her hooves to her head as she picks herself off the ground with her wings, "Oh man! Twilights going to freak! What do we do!?"

You copy her as you hold your hooves to your head in a panic, How the fuck should I know!?"

She places her hooves on your face as she talks at you, "You are with Twilight SHE always has a plan."

You stutter as you think, "You have wings fly around outside and find her." You bust into a run as you bring yourself to the door, "She could be anywhere right?!?"

Spike taps his claw to his mouth as he try to think, "I-I..."

Rainbow and you both call to him as he stutters, "Spike?"

He stammers out his reply as you two both stare at him, "Yes."

You run out of the house and bring your head around the street, "where is she?!"

Rainbow darts out behind you as she takes into the air, "You just look around i'll try and find her from the air."

You bite at you lip as you gallop down the street in towards town.

After a heart pound gallop you finally are brought onto the main street of Ponyville. You bring your heavy panting and stuttered voice to the first pony you see. You try to talk as you look over the green coated mare, "Filly....Need the...the must..."

Her green eyes shrink as she look at you, "Ugh! You filly watcher." She bash her tail at you as she turns and walks away.

You quickly gallop over to the next pony as you stutter again but this time with more sense, "I lost my kid?! Have you seen a little purple filly?"

The small grey stallion shakes his head at you as he looks at you, "Wow its been what a week and a half maybe? And you have already messed up again."

You blink at the pony as you put your hoof on him, "Stony, have you seen her?!"

The stallion shakes his head as he talks, "No, but if I find her i'll make sure to bury her properly."

You run past him as you ignore his comment, "Not helping!"

"Bye betrunken."

You dart yourself down the road more as you swing your head around every side street and corner. Spikes words ricoshay in your head, she could be anywhere. You push the thought back as you turn you run off of the main street of town. NO no she has to be in town where else could she be.

"Hey!"

You bring your head up to the tomboyish voice, "Did you find her?"

She shakes her head. As you watch her motion you get a cold shiver down your back as you start to feel a warm tear building behind your eyes. But before you can react to yourself Rainbow's voice picks back up, "But I talked to this one mare and she said she saw a little filly running around in the park."

You shake your emotion out as you call back to her, "Where where is that?"

She quickly flies past you as she calls down to you, "Come on."

Your heart has already been pumping on  overdrive as you struggle to follow after the mare. Violet fine....she better be fine.

The gallop from where you were in the town starts to come to an end as you watch Rainbow's colorful trial drop down to the ground. The park  is not all trees and benches as you thought instead it looks more like a large carnival like think.

Everywhere around you there are booths set up with colorful banners. The air around the park has a sweet popcorn like smell mixed with caramel apples.You quickly bring your head around the scene in front of you as you struggle to grasp the crowds all around you, "How can we find her in here? There's so many ponies?"

Rainbow takes herself off the ground as she turns to you, "You look around i'm going to see if I can see her from up here."

With a nod of your head you push your way into the crowds.

You struggle to push past all the ponies as you follow after the rainbow trail in the sky. You don't bother with worries as you focus your way past the ponies around you.

As you get to a clearing you start to get a sense of hopelessness as you look around at the crowds of ponies, "What is this?"

Your thoughts are brought out as you listen to a lipsy nerdy voice to your side.

"This is a technology convention duh."

You snap your head to the cream badge stallion you stop as you notice the acme ridden face of the pony but you quickly shake it off as you talk, "have you seen a little purple unicorn?"

The stallion pushes his glasses back up to his eyes as he talks, "Geezs somepony has social problems."

The stallions calm nerdy voice for some reason sparks a quick sharp response as you talk again, "Video games will ruin your life now have you seen a little filly?"

He gives a geeky laugh as he talks, "I highly doubt you know what video games are they just came out last year...or are you one of the creators?" His eyes widen a little more as he pokes at your chest in astonishment, "...You're that pony that made the Pac-Pon aren't you?"

You back away so that his hoof falls to the ground as you think over the geeky pony in front of you what the fuck are video games?...You shake your head as you speak up again in your growing concerned voice, "A little filly have you seen her?"

He holds a smile as he points his hoof, "Well there was the unicorn filly that just teleported here...IS she an easter egg in level five?!"

Your ears perk up as you run towards the direction his hoof is held at. The stallion lets out a loud yell as you dart through the crowd, "...Yesss she was the easter egg wasn't she?"

You know hes just making a comment but why not. You push through the crowds around you as you swing your head back and forth. Out of the corner of your eye you see a familiar light purple, "Violet!"

But as you run up to the little filly she gives a wide smile and then takes off in a full gallop.

"Violet! No I don't want to play tag!" You chase after her into the outskirts of the park and into a tall grassy field as you try to catch up with her. Unlike the library her tiny legs are carrying her into a quick run that you can't match.

"Rainbow!"

Just as your words exit your mouth you watch as a blue stream is set in front, but the pegasus fast pace is brought to a pace near yours as she slows herself down, "Oh that stuffs poison joke."

Poison!? A quick tingle sensation comes over you as you look to the line of blue flowers Violet seems to be charging towards. The magic build up in you only last a second as the filly is taken up into the air with a purple aura surrounding her. Your accomplishment is short lived as you stumble into the plants and your front legs get tangled in the thicket of flowers. 

You fall face forward with a loud, “Shit!” 

Violet's legs continue to gallop in the air as she is still hovered above you and the flowers. You stare back to the filly with a overjoyed smile as you watch Rainbow scoop her from the bubble, thank you! no fire ball...

The moment of joy is quickly surpassed as you feel the plants all around your body. The flower’s blue pollen flares all around you as you sit in the bed  from your earlier trip. 

You quickly lunge your body up as you cough to the pollen now crowding your nose, “Poison! You said poison!?”

Violet's happy wiggling only emphasizes Rainbows considered silent stare as you wait for her reply.

"Rainbow?!"

She snaps out of her silence as she talks, "Well its nothing bad and I know how to get rid of it...just get out."

You struggle to bring yourself from the sap like blue plants as you make your way out of the flower bed as you give another cough to the newly stirred pollen collected on your nose, “You said poison is Violet going to be ok?”

Rainbow lands herself on the ground as she backs a little away from you, "Well its not poison its just a magical plant that does strange stuff."

You desperately try to rub the stuff off as you talk, "Ah! No, no more magic!"

She backs away from you as the pollen starts to fall from you, "whoa watch it I don't know what that stuff does to foals."

You stop your motion as you look back at the smiling filly with a stern face, "No more running got that?"

Violet holds her smile to your comment as she wiggles her hooves to you.

Rainbow takes herself back into the air as she closely watches the blue dust around you, "Ok, lets just get you home i'll explain this stuff on the way...just don't touch anypony."

You bite over your lips a little nervously as you again try to shake the stuff off, great this fucking flower is magic!? What else is magic hu?
