	Twilight Sparkle rose from her bed and rubbed her eyes. It was a new day in Ponyville, and what an exciting one! She would finally be going over her copy of Predictions and Prophecies again. She had only partially read it when Nightmare Moon decided to appear, and, with several years passed, she could finally get to reading more recent entries.

“Spike!” Twilight yelled, startling him from his sleep.

“What is it, Twilight?” Spike groggily stated.

“I need to read my copy of Predictions and Prophecies. Do you know where it is?” She said sweetly, and then added, “I’ll get you a Sapphire sandwich later on, if you want me to-“ Twilight halted as she saw Spike run downstairs into the Library. Balancing on a ladder, he quickly climbed up the shelf marked ‘P’, and grabbed a thick volume from it.

As soon as he had grabbed it, however, a purple glow ripped it from his hands, sending him tumbling to the floor.

Twilight didn’t even notice as she levitated the book up to her room, and sat down on her bed to read it.

“No… That’s the Nightmare prophecy… That already happened… Nobody cares… Ah, here we are!” She said as she found something that caught her eye.

“Hmmm…” She said, starting to read.

“One day, a metal bird will fly down from Celestia’s sky, bringing many changes with it.”

Twilight almost facehoofed at what she had read. A metal bird? There’s no way that could ever happen. And what did it mean by many changes? She was about to throw the book down when she heard a sound outside. It sounded like a faint whish, but nothing like a pegasus flying down. Curious, she went outside to see what it was.

Up above her, descending from space, was… A giant metal thing. Twilight’s jaw dropped. It had two wing-like things on the side, and was covered in little bumps. Light came out of the back, as it rapidly went through the atmosphere. Up above her, she could see a brightly lit sign saying “T2”. She had no idea what it meant. A sign hung above Luna’s moon as well, only it was labeled “T0”.

Meanwhile, the cylinder dropped towards the ground outside Ponyville and hit near Sweet Apple Acres. It deployed small leg-like things and started pumping out what looked like gas. Immediately, Twilight felt a gigantic weight on her chest as the air pressure increased. After a time, it became much too high to breathe normally, and Twilight lay on the floor, gasping for air.

Meanwhile, she saw the ship deploy another cylinder. This one was much smaller than the other one, and it immediately started sucking in air, making it much easier to breath. Along the way, Twilight noticed the giant sign outside the planet now read “T3”. The alien spaceship immediately started dropping off strange animals she had never seen; Birds with stingers, cows with spiked tails, and all sorts of other monstrosities.

Pinkie Pie suddenly appeared in her window, looking more excited than ever.

“See Twilight! Didn’t I tell you?” She loudly said, and resumed jumping up and down. “They came back for me! Ididn’tknowtheywouldeverfindmeagain and *gasp*” She continued, taking a deep breath. “They are going to throw all sorts of parties!”

Twilight struggled to understand half of what she had said, not an easy accomplishment when you consider that she was still having some trouble breathing. Before she could ask her friend what she meant, though, Pinkie bounced off, intent on throwing the ‘biggest intergalactic party ever!’

After ten minutes, the ship decided to drop something else off. With the new animals causing chaos wherever they went, it decided to shoot down an energy beam into the middle of the Everfree. Where it hit, a gigantic tower suddenly appeared. Walls appeared on the side, and shot out for around two hundred meters, making a very large clearing in the forest. Twilight wondered where Celestia and Luna where in all of this.

Buildings started to pop into place in the middle of what was now apparently a new city. Dozens of strange creatures of one type wandered around, and several Manticores that tried to attack were… Killed by strange cannons on the wall.

A short time later, will all of Ponyville in panic and the Elements still trying to find each other, another event happened. Ships different from the previous ship went down from the sky and made for the new city. When they were close enough, it quickly became apparent that they were shooting at it, as explosions rocked the strange city.

One large, lone enemy ship came over the mountains. It shot a beam of energy at a mountain not far from Ponyville, turning it instantly into a volcano. Twilight was horrified by the thought, as the volcano rapidly raised the temperature of the planet. The sign above the planet quickly turned to “T2”, as thousands of species died off, including the alien town, which was enveloped in lava.

A few dozen alien ships started battling each other over the planet, sending wrecks and strange packages to the surface. When Twilight tried to open the package, it quickly ripped, to reveal several containers of a green powder, which actually smelled quite nice. However, Twilight decided she would rather not get infected by whatever might be on it, so she quickly back away and ran to a hill outside town.

The sign above the planet quickly changed to “T1”, as the battle died down. Twilight didn’t know what to do now. With the world overflowing with air, and way too hot to survive in much longer, she scanned her mind for something to reverse this. Finding an old spelled she had once learned, she quickly reviewed what she knew about it. The spell would reset time back, up to five days. She quickly cast it and, straining from the magical effort, pushed it faster.

Time seemed to slow down and rewind. She saw everything about the destruction of her world, only in reverse. When she came to the point where the ship had come, she stopped. She knew what to do. Quickly gathering her strength into a single blast, she waited for the first sign of it. There it was! She quickly unleashed the beam, destroyed the ship and making it explode.

Five seconds later, a sign appeared outside her planet.

“Too dangerous. Avoid system.”

Twilight smiled, her job done. They would never have to worry about anything like that happening, ever again.
