Chapter 1
"Hahahah you're useless as ever, you're an even easier target than your brother, hehehe!"
"I-I-I'm not useless…you…wait?…who are you?" "What Brother…!?"
"Hehehehehehehe!"

"Luigi, wake up! Are you alright?" Twilight said trying to rouse him back into consciousness.
Luigi's eyes shot open "AAH!" He sprung his head up and he then started to shake his head in panic.
After several minutes Luigi finally regained his bearings, during this time Fluttershy was hiding under her table shaking in fear at Luigi's outburst. 'Alright time to calm down, First of all where am I? What was I doing In a forest? Maybe these ponies can help shine some light(Ha!) on my situation.'
There was an awkward silence as Twilight just stared at him with a worried expression on her face while Fluttershy was still shaking like a leaf under the table. Finally Luigi spoke up.
"I'm sorry for the freak out, Its not everyday that you simply wake up in a forest as an entirely different species," he said while rubbing the back of his head with his hoof.
Twilight tilted her head and arched an eyebrow in confusion "Wait a second, Entirely different species? Are you sure you’re alright?"
'Wait a second, hey I'm suppose to be the one asking the questions here.' "I'm sure I'm fine and yes from where I'm from (If I can remember where exactly')I'm what you would call a human…I think, with hands and feet and we are also bipedal." He said to the confused unicorn.
Fluttershy finally poked her head out from under the table. "Um…excuse me but-"
Twilight stared at Luigi like he was crazy "Human? Of all the books I read on the different species of animals in Equestria I have never come across any information on "Humans" she said intrigued on the possibly learning about a new species.
"E-e-excuse…me," Fluttershy tried to speak up again.
'Never heard of a place like that before' "excuse me did you just say "In Equestria?” Is that where I am now?" He said with relief in his voice on finally getting some information on where in the world he was.
Fluttershy spoke again "EXCUSE me!" Luigi and Twilight were both startled by Fluttershy's outburst. "Oh..I'm sorry…but can I ask you..what this is?" she said Pointing to a machine that laid on the floor. "I found this on your back when I found you in the forest…What is it? It looks like a vacuum cleaner?"
Luigi now noticing the item in question got up and trotted up to it and read the label on the machine and it read "Poltergust 5000" 'I had this on my back? I can't figure it out now but I think this has something to do with why I am here in this "Equestria"place but for now…' "I-I-I don't now I can't remember at the moment. But I must say its a nice vacuüm, hehe."
"Hmmm..Anyway…" Twilight said attempting to get back on subject. "You're saying you are not from Equestria? Then may I ask where you originally come from?"
Luigi attempted to respond but couldn't come with an answer. "Oh, I'm from….I'm from….uh..I can't remember. Why can't I remember?!" He said as he began hyperventilating.
"Please calm down! You won't be able to remember if you don't relax!" Twilight said with a look of concern. Fluttershy went back to her hiding place under the table.
Luigi once again calmed down and spoke "You’re right, Okay, I have some questions for you two, but first can I get something to eat? I'm starved and can't remember the last time I ate. (literally)”
Twilight smiled at him while Fluttershy came out from under the table once again. "Of course, who knows it might help jog your memory about where you’re from and how you got here even though I'm still skeptical about it.. Anyway what would you like to eat?"
"Well I have a craving for some pizza, Any pizza places nearby?" He said hopeful.
Fluttershy and Twilight looked at him again once again confused. "Um… 'Pizza'? Can you tell us what that is…If that's okay with you?"
Luigi's left eye twitched a bit "No pizza…NOOOOOO!" Fluttershy recoiled at his reaction. "Pizza IS is an oven-baked, flattened round bread typically topped with a tomato sauce, cheese and various toppings. How can you NOT know what pizza is!?"
Twilight taken aback by his reaction "Will you just calm down! No, we don't have this food called 'pizza' but if you'd like I'll take you to get some breakfast..ok? I'll pay of course."
Luigi, not one to turn down a free meal simply nodded and replied "Alright thank you very much I appreciate it," he said as he was attempting to be polite.
"It's no problem." Twilight assured. "Fluttershy would you like to come along with us?"
"Oh…thanks but I think I'll stay here, I still need to finish feeding my animals…if that's okay with you?"
Twilight nodded in confirmation to her friend "Alright Fluttershy, I'll see you later, take care. Come on Luigi, I know a good place to get some food, follow me."
"Okey dokey, just one second." He said as he walked up to Fluttershy who backed up a bit as he approached. "I thank you for your kindness and for rescuing me while I was unconscious." Luigi said with sincerity as he smiled at her.
Fluttershy blushed a bit "Oh…you’re welcome I'm glad you’re alright…and I hope you get back your memory….oh don't forget your uh…vacuum cleaner."
"Oh yeah Thank you I almost forgot," he said as he picked it up with his teeth and struggled a bit strapping (Tough without hands) it on, Once he got it strapped he looked to Fluttershy and smiled softly and said "Thanks again, I'll see you later I guess," he said as he made his way out the door following Twilight.

Luigi and Twilight were both trotting away from Fluttershy's cottage, starting to make their way into town. When curiosity got the best of Luigi he finally spoke up. "Where are we going anyway?"
Twilight answered him while still walking "I'm taking you to Sugar Cube Corner to get some cupcakes, One of my friends works there. But I must warn you she is a bit...erratic.”
"Oh okay, and noted thanks for the warning. By the way, what is the name of this town, If I may ask?"
Twilight stopped briefly and said "Oh this is Ponyville."
Luigi snickered a bit trying to hold a laugh.
Twilight taken aback said "What's so funny?"
"I'm sorry, I just find it kinda funny that this town is named 'Ponyville' Kind of unoriginal if you ask me," he said still trying to hold in his laugh.
Twilight face hoofed and sighed "Honestly it's not really that funny..."
Luigi shook his head and said "I would disagree."
"Are you done laughing at the town's name yet? We have arrived.."
Luigi finally getting over the unoriginality of the town's name looked in awe at the building in front of him that resembled a gingerbread house.
"Wow are you sure we can't just eat the building?" He said already knowing the answer but couldn't resist asking anyway.
Twilight deadpanned "Can we just go in already?"
Luigi conceded and said "Alright lets'a go." Luigi's demeanor lessened a bit as he thought 'Wait why does that phrase sound so familiar to me? I can't quite place my finger…err hoof on it, hmm…maybe I'm just overthinking things.'
Twilight noticed Luigi's demeanor change as she saw him deep in thought. "Luigi are you okay, what's the matter?" She asked with a little concern.
Luigi slightly was slightly startled and got knocked out of his train of thought. "Yeah, I was just thinking about something."
"Care to talk about it?" She asked.
"No, it’s nothing important, lets head in already. I'm quite hungry," he said hoping to drop the subject for now.
"Alright, but if you want to talk about it, I'm here for you to talk to." she said smiling at him.
"I'll’a keep that in mind thanks." As he said this Twilight's stomach made a growl in protest from not being able to finish her breakfast earlier. She blushed in embarrassment. "Okay enough procrastinating let's head in already."
Holding in a laugh at Twilight's embarrassment. "Okey dokey." They both walked up to the door where Luigi pushed the door open for Twilight. Blushing slightly at the gesture. she walked in as Luigi followed.
As they walked in Luigi noticed a Pink blur run by him "HI! I'M PINKIE PIE!”
"WAHHHH!" Luigi screamed startled as he jumped up several feet into the air.
Pinkie ignoring his reaction, just smiled at him. "ARE YOU NEW IN PONYVILLE? BECAUSE I KNOW EVERYPONY IN PONYVILLE! IF I DON'T KNOW YOU THEN YOU MUST BE NEW! DO YO LIKE CUPCAKES?! OHHH WHAT IS THAT ON YOUR BACK IS THAT A PARTY VACUUM!? DO YOU LIKE PARTIES?! BECAUSE I LOVE PARTIES!"
Luigi started running towards the door as Twilight tried to stop him. "I tried to warn you."
Luigi ignored her continued screaming as he ran out the door "WAHHHHHHHHH!" He ran outside and hid behind a food stand. Pinkie popped out from behind "What are you doing back here silly?"
"WAHHHHHH!" he screamed again as he scurried off back into Sugarcube Corner, where Pinkie popped up again behind the counter. "Want some cupcakes!?" Luigi stumped by how she keeps popping up out of nowhere said "How do you'a keep doing that?!"
Twilight who was just watching the scene play out said "Its just Pinkie Pie being Pinkie Pie, Luigi this is Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie this is Luigi. Fluttershy found him out cold in the Everfree Forest and he doesn't remember anything on how he ended up there. "
Pinkie ignoring most of Twilight introduction. "Oh you met Fluttershy? She is one of my best friends, nice to meet you Luigi can you come back here later tonight?!"
Luigi still not quite with it just said "Uh Okay."
Twilight getting Pinkie's attention asked "Uh Pinkie could I get some cupcakes? Luigi here has yet to eat anything today.
"Huh!?" she gasped "Sure thing Twilight!" Not more than 10 seconds later Pinkie popped up from the kitchen with several cupcakes. Luigi baffled by the pony's randomness "What? How? That's not possible?" Twilight once again stated "Just Pinkie being Pinkie, I try not to question it. I'll never be able figure it out myself anyways.”
Luigi accepting this, took a cupcake and took a bite. His eyes widened "This is really good!" He said as he scarfed the cupcake down."
Twilight laughing at Luigi's reaction managed to get his attention. "So Luigi, do you have anywhere you can stay tonight? If not, I have a spare bed back at my place you can use," This got Luigi's attention.
"Uh..thank you, I'a don't want to impose."
Twilight waved a hoof dismissively. "It's no trouble, at least until you can regain your memory."
"Uh thank you."
"How much for the cupcakes Pinkie?" Twilight asked.
"4 bits," Pinkie said.
'Bits? Must be this place's currency.'
"Twilight nodded and used her magic to float over the necessary bits."
Luigi startled by this said to Twilight "How did you do that?"
Twilight giggled a bit at his reaction"What, it's just magic."
"Magic?" He said still confused
She started to explain "Yes, all unicorns can do magic, You probably can use it as well."
"Huh, I can?"
"Yes, under your hat you have a horn, like mine." She lifted his hat with her magic, Luigi taken aback with his hat being removed. "HEY!" he said as he was rubbing the top of his head feeling an appendage protruding from his head. "Oh…." He said slightly dumbfounded.
Twilight again laughing at his confusion returned his hat. "Come on lets go get you set up back at my place."
"Thanks for the cupcakes Pinkie, I'll see you later." She said to her friend
"Oh no problem Twilight, Luigi don't forget to come back later tonight at 7:00!"
"Okey dokey." He said as he and Twilight started to leave.

Back in town they continued to walk in silence until they arrived at a giant tree. "Well here we are" She said.
"You live in a tree?" He asked curious.
She stared at him for a second before responding "Yes, Is that a problem?"
Not wanting to offend "Uh no, not at all."
Accepting his answer she simply nodded in confirmation as she opened the door with her magic gesturing him to come in, he did so.
"You Live in a library?"
"Yes I'm the librarian here in Ponyville along with Spike. Spike I'm back, could you come here for a second?"
"Who is Spike?" Luigi asked curious.
"Oh he is my assistant, he is a dragon."
'A dragon, this should be freaking me out but for some reason I'm okay.' "Okey dokey, gotcha."
Spike came down from upstairs. "What is it Twi? What do you need? Who is this?”
She explained to her assistant " Spike this is Luigi, Fluttershy found him in the Everfree forest out cold and now he can't remember where he is from or how he got here. He will be staying with us for a couple of days. Could you set up the spare bed?
"Oh really, Are you alright? Nice to meet you by the way,” Spike said extending a claw, Luigi extended his hoof and shook the dragon's claw.
"Uh… Nice to meet you too...." Luigi said slightly nervous.
"Alright Twi, I'll go set up the spare bed." Spike saluted.
"Thank you Spike." Twilight said smiling to her assistant.
A few minutes later Spike had set up Luigi's bed.
"I think I'm gonna take a nap, all this excitement has got me beat." Luigi said stifling a yawn.
Twilight nodded "Alright we'll wake you up for dinner, try to relax if you want to regain your memory any time soon.”
"Alright thank you, Twilight and Spike, I appreciate this," he said as he started to lay down.
When Twilight and Spike were out of earshot Twilight spoke up.. "Spike could you please get a quill and parchment? I'd like to write a letter to the princess.”
He saluted as he got the quill and parchment and waited for Twilight to begin.
Dear Princess Celestia,
Today my friend Fluttershy found a mysterious pony with a green hat and an odd vacuum cleaner on his back in the everfree forest who claims that he is not from Equestria. Unfortunately he cannot remember where he is from or how he ended up in the Everfree forest.
I decided to let him stay at the library for a couple of days, I'm also going to try and help him recover his memory, He said he is something called a human originally but I'm a little skeptical on this. I'll write again when I find out more.
