Rainbow Dash wiped the sweat off her forehead and let out a long sigh. Fluttershy was stumbling next to her, sharing a similar expression of exhaustion and weariness. At last they came to their destination, the small natural pond in the middle of the fields--and nopony else was there to hog it from them. Leaping into action, Rainbow Dash dove head first into the water, almost starting her marefriend.
After letting out an exasperated sigh of relief, Rainbow Dash laid back in the refreshing water. "Hey, what are you waiting for? Jump in!" she called out to Fluttershy.
"But... I never learned how to swim!" the yellow pegasus admitted as she let herself sink in the water only up to her neck.
Rainbow Dash groaned but suddenly she had an idea. She swam underwater and propelled herself close to the proximity of her marefriend. Suddenly, she emerged from the waters and pulled a shrieking Fluttershy in with her.
"Rainbow Dash!" Fluttershy cried out, trying to escape out of the deep center.
Using her hind legs to keep herself balanced in the water, Rainbow Dash held onto the squiring figure in her forehooves. "Hey, hey! It's okay, Flutters. I've got you," she cooed.
Fluttershy slowly stopped fighting and took a glance at her lover's face. Her eyes widened as she a noticed a different looking Rainbow Dash with a wet mane and coat in her view. Struck in awe, she could only blush at this new look she immediately fell in love with.
"I like your mane," Fluttershy finally stated.
