The whole damn week had been hectic. Practice. Show. Get yelled at. Sleep. Repeat. Surprisingly, those four things can take a major toll on a pony - mainly if they're one of the most famous ones in all of Equestria. The rookie Wonderbolt who got in with not luck but her spectacular talent. That meant she had to live up to her potential and then some. Rainbow Dash was more than tired, she was literally like a living zombpony.

"Dash!"

"Ma'am, yes, ma'am!" the rainbow-maned mare yelled on cue, saluting a hoof - although the chuckle beside her alerted that she wasn't in practice at the moment. "Hey..."

"Just testing ya, RD." Spitfire laughed, tossing her glasses off and onto the table. "Wanted to make sure you weren't dead."
Letting out a sigh, Rainbow looked down in her coffee - the only thing that would keep her active. "That obvious?"

"We're all that way." the Captain replied with a nonchalant shrug as she gulped down nearly half of her own caffeinated drink that consisted of multiple shots of sugar, just for an extra boost. "You get used to it." She raised her glass and laughed.

"Thank Celestia for coffee, eh?"

Rainbow Dash managed a weak chuckle and smirked, clanking her mug against Spitfire's in a playful toast.

"Yeah, and thank her twice we're gonna get a break from all of this crap in a week." the fire-maned mare sighed.

The cyan pegasus's expression screwed up in confusion and she gaped. "The season's almost over already?" she questioned in disbelief. Wasn't it just yesterday that she had her first show?

"Yup." Spitfire murmured, looking into her now empty cup. "I'm getting a refill. You want anything?"

Rainbow Dash shook her head and knit her eyebrows, thinking hard. The date of the season finale would be the same day as...

"It sure is a shame that Rainbow Dash isn't here for your second anniversary, Fluttershy." Twilight Sparkle said sympathetically to the timid pegasus across the way from her. "I'm positive she'll make it up to you, though, don't worry."

"Oh, I'm not." Fluttershy replied in her usual shy and quiet manner as she took a sip of her chamomile tea. "She has a very busy life - I can't expect her to drop everything for me, you know."

"Hmm, true." the alicorn princess mused, with a simple shrug. "Nonetheless, though, relationships should work out, no matter what the circumstances," She paused for a moment and let out a giggle. "Or, at least that's what I've read in books."

The two friends shared a laugh only before a *crash* was heard and a blur of rainbow flew into the room, tackling Fluttershy from her seat - causing the shy pegasus to let out a loud *eep* of sudden fright.

"Happy anniversary, Flutters!" Rainbow Dash beamed, with a laugh as she noticed her marefriend's expression switch from fear to shock to pure joy.

"Dashie?" Fluttershy murmured. "But... I thought the Wonderbolts tour..."

"It ended early." Dash responded with a smirk. "Either way, I woulda skipped practice for you."

Smiling wide, the yellow mare giggled and wrapped her hooves around her lover's neck, pulling her in for a passionate kiss.

"I can't even live in a castle without you breaking and entering, can I?" Twilight said blandly as she glared at the Wonderbolt - who was too preoccupied in making out with Fluttershy on the linoleum floor. "Uh, never mind."
