My first fic ever
It was a sunny day out in ponyvill. The birds were chirping and the butterflies fluttered by, however, there was a yrim feel in the air. There weren't many ponies out on the street and if ome were to look at the billboard outside the town hall, they would see why. There were many "missing" or "have ypu seen us" posters on it.
A pink earth pony stared at it, hoof under chin, deep in thought. 'there have been a lot of dissapearences lately. I think I might have to talk to someone. Maybe fluttershy or Dashie. Whichever comes first.' She concluded, seeing the pattern thet most has faild to notice. Grqnted thqt there were plenty of missing unicorn and earth poines, many of the recently gone ponies have been pegasi.
With that last thought, she hopped on over to sugarcupe corner to make some cupcakes. Seeing that she was low on flour, milk, eggs and the other ingredients, she decided that she'll worry about the missing ponies later. Today she was going to pull some more prankes and tomorrow do some shopping.
After she finished baking her cupcakes, she put a few in her saddlebag and the rest in the dislay case. As she headed out of sugarcube corner, she stopped by Rainbow Rash's place.
Staring at the rainbow river that flowed from Dash's cloud house, Pinkie Pie had an idea.
"Hey Dashie, are you there? Are we still on fpr pranks?"
Rainbow Dash poked her head out of her house, rubbing sleep out of her eyes. "Of course Pinkie, I wouldn't miss it for the world" Dash said, descending to the ground.
"Good becaise i just thought of a reely good one." Pinkie said as she ran off, only to come back with a bucket in her mouth.
" Fmm mp mn fml thms wmf rmbw" she shouted with the bucket making it un-understandable.
"Umm... What?" Dash questioned.
After dropping the bucket, Pinkie said once more, "Fly up and fill this with rainbow. Today we are going to trick somepony into tasting the rainbow."
"Agh, I can't believe that I hadn't thouh of that." Dash yelled as she flew to her home to fill up the bucket with rainbow.
As Dash landed, pinkie Pie took the bucket. To make sure the plan would work, she tested the rainbow. One sip, and steam hissed out of her ears as her face turned into a spectrum of colors, leaving an oddly familier, yet pleasent, aftertaste. She tried to place the aftertase for a few seconds before Rainbow Dash snapped he out of it.
"Hello, Equestria to Pinkie Pie, you there?" Said Dash, poking Pinkie Pies head.
"Hmm? Oh yeah! Sorry, I got lost in thought."
"Good, for a second, i thought that the rainbow had overwhelmed you. You have no idea whats in that stuff."
" well it sort of did" she replied, taking out a cupcake. "I need to wash out the taste."
As she took a bite out of the cupcake, she suddenly realized where the mystery aftertaste of rainbow came from, for she used it every week. It was none other than her 'special ingredient' for cooking.
