Chapter 3


Scott’s story


Writer Comment:
“This chapter shows how Scott came to Equestria and all the way to the now”

“It all started while I was doing a mission under the orders from the Karas Council, an order that the Karas serve under. I was in an alleyway behind a few buildings to eliminate a demon called a Minotaur. I’ve used my artefact/watch to transform into the Karas that I bear and started to attack the demon with full force. The fight was rough but I pulled through by barely standing in front of the demon and before I can finish my attack, a purpley-violet portal opened out of nowhere and sucked me and the demon into it. When I was in the portal I heard a voice and the voice said ‘Help to fulfil the destiny that bear this mark for yours to reveal’ and the mark showed a big star with five small stars like a constellation and when the mark faded I was in the night sky and falling. I see a castle while I was falling towards to. I couldn’t land right and then I crashed into the ground leaving a big crater while being knocked out from the impact...”

Celestia said her part of the story of Scott arrival.

“While I was in the dining room I herd a loud noise outside and thought to check it out. I got out of the castle doors and saw two craters in the palace gardens. I went over to one of them and saw huge figure. I sensed evil from the figure and I got attacked by it. The attack was strong and I was about to see the gates of heaven until...”

Scott said the next bit.

“I woke and saw the demon attacking someone, my vision was a bit blurry, but before I saw him about to finish his attack, I managed to stand up, run towards the demon and stop the attack. I used the last of my strength and used an attack that destroyed the Minotaur...”

Celestia turn of the story:

“I opened my eyes and saw another figure before me but this one is different. The figure withdrew its blade and changed into a young human in ruined clothes while bleeding. I was shocked that a human can do that and looked at the ashes behind him. I figured out that he saved my life from that evil monstrosity. I tried to get up, but from that attack I was injured and fell down...”

Scott’s turn:

“My vision came clear and I notice what I saw wasn’t a human but a creature that I read from a book in my world known as an alicorn. I went near to her to see what I can do and she said ‘Take me to my room.’ She yelled in pain, I was surprised that the alicorn can talk and I obliged by picking her up and carried her in my arms. On the way she cast some kind of spell that directed me all the way to her chambers; I bust through the doors and put her on the bed. I cleaned her up and did some medical procedures on her wounds with what I know from my knowledge.”

“After treating the wounds I was about to leave until the guards came in to arrest me but the alicorn told the guards to leave me be. The guards were in shock especially their captain and left when I heard they were following orders to the alicorn. I figured that the alicorn that I saved was a type of royalty due to what she was wearing. I was leaving the room, but then the doors suddenly shut in front of me. I tried to open the doors but it won’t open so I turned around to the alicorn and was about to say about the door being locked, but then she told me to come closer to her, so I walked up beside the bed and bowed in front of her (like a knight). She told me to rise and asked a few questions.”

“She asked ‘who I was?’, ‘what I’m doing here?’ and ‘what was that thing that attacked her?’ Then I went to the window and answered two of her questions. She was surprised for what I said and she wants to thank me with a reward but I declined. I thought ‘whatever I told her about what I do as a Karas but she was not afraid of what I did and to what I just said’. She still wants me to answer why I was here and I said what I know. I said that ‘I got here by some portal that appeared from my world and there was a voice in the portal and it said ‘Help to fulfil the destiny that bears this mark for yours to reveal’’ and I’ve explained by drawing the constellation mark on a piece of paper. When she saw the drawing of the mark that I draw, she was in shock, she knew who bear it and remembered the event in the exam with Twilight. She told me that the mark belongs to her student Twilight Sparkle and put a theory at me. She thought that during that magic outburst of her student was so powerful it may have created a portal from my world and brought me here to this world. She showed me a picture of her student to me and I saw the mark on her flank, it is defiantly just like the one in the portal that I have drawn. Then I figured that I’m supposed to help this pony with something and when I do I can get back to my world.”

Scott took the drawing out of his shirt pocket and gave it to Twilight to have a look and continued on.

“She thought that this was fate that brought me here and to help her destiny and my own.  She allowed me to stay in the castle and use one of the guest rooms with her. I thank her for her kindness and I went out to let her sleep but when I got to the door, I herd crying; I went back to the princess and looked into her eyes. She turned her head to me and for what I saw I said of what I saw in her eyes, which she felt pain and regret for what she’s done to someone and the person or pony that I guessed it was someone in her family, a brother or sister perhaps.” 

“Celestia eyes opened wide and see my eyes showing some tears. Then I said, ‘You’re lucky that your still have some family. I’ve lost my family from the demons since I was very young and I’ve wished that I could bring them back, but I can’t. We all have only one life.’” 

“From what I said she cried even more for what she heard, but she calmed down for what I did. I hugged her and she saw my pain from my eyes, then she started to hug me back with her forelegs and wings, then we were lying beside the bed, hugging tight with her wings and drowning each other with tears.”

“I said to her ‘let it all out, I’m right here for you, my friend’ and she did let it out while we both lying on the bed, hugging and crying so much, that we fell asleep.”

“When I woke up, I thought I was back in my world, but I wasn’t. I was still in the princess chambers in my ruined clothes and Right beside me to the left is the sleeping alicorn, I thought I be in trouble by sleeping with the princess so I quietly try to reach the door but then I was grabbed by some aura and dragged back to the bed with the alicorn looking at me. I was sweating nervously thinking that I’m gonna die, but then she looked at me with a smile and said ‘thank you friend, you’ve really helped me for last night and I thought we could start again with the introductions again, because last night I forgot to ask your name, also you may need a wash from all that blood on you.’”

While I noticed the blood on me, she kissed me on the cheek and I jumped off the bed with my face turning red, then we started introductions again.

“We said our names and we did a hand/hoof-shake kind of thing. Then we went down to business, Celestia would like me to help her with the skills of that I possess, to keep an eye on her student and to tell her about my world and about the Karas as well. Also she wanted me to be her personnel bodyguard, In return I get to live in the castle and gain knowledge of her world and more. So I’ve agreed to the terms that she proposed and the deal was done.”

“With that I kept my promise to Celestia and for ten years, I’ve protected her and kept an eye on Twilight at most of the times. Then Celestia told me to follow Twilight into Ponyville and report to her about the old castle in the Everfree Forest and your behaviour of wanting to know about of Nightmare Moon.”

“Later on, when Nightmare Moon returned, I’ve silently helped you to direct you to the ruins and that’s it, you all know the rest.”
