Chapter 2
Our stranger awakes
A few hours have passed since the human was treated and the five ponies and the princesses (minus Twilight) were in the room keeping an eye on the resting human. Princess Celestia was about to leave the room but stopped by her sister by blocking the door. Luna thought her sister is definitely hiding something and beginning to ask her sister.
“Where do you think you’re going sis? you’ve got some explaining to do…Tia your hiding something aren’t you.” said Luna staring at her sister with cold eyes while Celestia felt nervous all of the sudden from what Luna just said like she read her mind. (They can because the sisters bond together and being an Alicorn read other minds)
The other ponies looked over to the sisters at the door and heard what they said with a same thought that Luna had.
“I will explain everything to you all but to do so, I’ll need to get Twilight. Because she needs to know as well” said Celestia with sad eyes at Luna.
Luna saw her sister’s eyes were speaking the truth and then let her pass. Celestia left the Hospital and went to the Library were Twilight said she will be. When she opened the Library door she sees Twilight looking at an object on the table in confusion within a mess of books. (Like a bomb hit the place.) Celestia walked up to Twilight quietly and looked over her student’s head to see what she is doing. Her eyes were wide as she notices the watch that Twilight was looking and is wondering why she has it in the first place.
“What are you up to.” said Celestia into Twilight ear.
Twilight snapped and jumped from the sneak surprise from the princess and landed into a bookcase causing books to collapse all over her. Twilight groaned from getting out of the book pile and feeling the bump on her head.
“Are you alright Twilight” said Celestia.
“Yes I’m fine Princ-” replied while Twilight rubbing her head but stopped and got nervous with eyes wide opened when she saw Celestia picked up the watch with her magic.
“What are or were you doing with this Twilight.” said Celestia showing the watch in front of her.
“I-I…I’m sorry princess” said Twilight muttered while with her head down. “I was trying to find what that watch is, but it’s not in any of my books but it made me confused and I got nowhere, it’s like this watch doesn’t exist in Equestria.”
“Don’t say anything about what you’re doing here and about the watch to the others about this Twilight” said Celestia in a low tone. “Okay.”
“Okay” Twilight replied. “Why were you here in the first place?”
“I’m here to bring you back to the Hospital. The human has been treated and now is resting in a private ward. I have to explain something to you and others but I need to say it in the room, so no one else can hear this.” said Celestia calmly said as she used her magic to clean up the books back to their proper places in the Library and then continued talking to Twilight. “And also Twilight can you return the watch to the human when he’s up.”
“Okay, let’s go.” Said Twilight, while using her magic to close the Library and putting the watch into her saddlebags along the way.
Twilight and Celestia walked back to the private room in the Hospital seeing Princess Luna and Twilight friends were standing outside the room. Twilight’s friends went up to her and wondering where she was. While Twilight was about to explain an excuse of why she was at the Library, but then she and the others heard the human groaned they went in the room while seeing the human trying to get up and out of bed. While the human is trying to stand, he legs give and slipped but Celestia used her magic to catch him and put him back to bed. The human was sitting up right with his head, stomach, part of his upper left leg and one of his arms in bandages looked down to his hands while in silence from what happened and then Celestia broke the silence.
“Are you alright dear...You okay Scott?” Celestia said in a soft tone.
The human sighed while turning his head to Celestia and replied.
“Yes…Celestia…I’m fine” he said calmly holding the pain with his blue eyes at the princess.
Twilight’s friends were shocked that the human knows the Princess’s name. Twilight and Luna have their jaw opened from what he said and how Celestia knows his name.
“You know the Princess” yelled Twilight and her friends said in unison to the
Human.
“You know the Human” yelled Luna to Celestia.
Both he and Celestia look at them and look at each other then, the human turned back about to say to the other ponies.
The Human, sighed then spoke “Yes, I have known Celestia since you became her protégé, Twilight”.
“But th-th-that’s about 10 years ago” Twilight said in shock from what he said and turned to Celestia. “And you’ve know him since that long.”
“Yes Twilight I’ve known him for 10 long years to know why he’s here and I know that he’s from another world, like ours but, different.” She said.
Twilight, her friends and Luna were even more surprised that the human is from another world then the rainbow mane Pegasus went up to his face.
“Are you a spy? How did you even get here and when are you going back to wherever on Tartarus that you came from.” grunted Rainbow Dash staring in the human’s eyes.
“RAINBOW!” yelled Applejack and pulled Dash’s tail back.
“I…can’t.” said the human with more depression while his head is down. “I don’t know how to get back or better yet why I’m here in the first place, until I realised from what happened in with my mission from the coun-.” He went silent and looked at Celestia. The princess nodded back and the human cleared his throat, took a deep breath and started to explain.
“I think it’s better if I start explaining at the beginning.” He said.
Everypony grabbed a chair and sat round the bed to hear his story (surprising that they can sit on chairs). “My name is Scott and I’m not just a human. In my world there is a secret society that we keep hidden from the rest our kind and fight to protect them from monsters known as demons who thinks we are food to their kind. We hunt and destroy these monsters in the night so no one knows what happens. The ones that fight the demons use special abilities, armour and equipment from magical artefacts, there are thirteen different artefacts in existence and whoever has the power to wield one of them bear the title known as ‘Karas’ and you’re looking at one of the thirteen Karas that protects the Human race from these monsters and also saved you six from Nightmare Moon.”
Celestia turned to see everypony thought in the room but what she saw was shocked faces with jaws opened and pupils shrank from what he said. Twilight snapped out of it and replied.
“This still doesn’t know how you got here.” said Twilight.
“I was telling you what I am before I explained how I got here.” Scott said to the purple unicorn that did a look that said ‘oh’. Just before he continues Twilight remembered about to give back the watch with a lie.
“Before you start, I have something of yours that you dropped back at the ruins” said Twilight placing the watch on the bed.
Scott picked up the watch his good hand and see how it looks.
“Thank you Twilight.” he said kindly and smiled back. “Now where was I… oh yeah, it’s about how I got here in the first place.”
