Pinkamena & May: Together Forever

by Pinkamena666

Cherry's Past

Pinkamena trotted out of the abandoned house and stood at her sister's grave. It was night time and every pony was asleep. The pink mare fell to her knees.
"Sister... I'm here... I miss you." She sighed. "I wish I could go back and... fix it... I wish I could save you."
Suddenly a lightning bolt struck the grave as a ghostly laugh was heard. Just then a hoof shot up from Cherry's grave. Pinkamena fell backwards and scooted away.
"Wh-What?" she whimpered.
Just then the ground above the grave cracked open and Cherry rose up, stepping out onto the solid ground.
"Sister..." said the corpse.
Pinkamena covered her eyes. "You're not real. You're not real."
She then took a deep breath and removed her hooves, looking around. There were no signs of any disturbance, nor those of her sister. She exhaled deeply and stood, turning to leave when she came face-to-face with Cherry. There was a hole in her cheek where a worm was sticking out. Her left eye was missing and some of her hair was missing. Pinks let out a scream and fell backwards.
"You killed me," said Cherry. "You killed me.
Pinkamena gasped. "No no no no no no no..." she whimpered. "I love you."
"You killed me."
Pinkamena shut her eyes tightly and cried.

May shook the pink mare frantically. "Wake up!"
Pinks let out a gasp and opened her eyes, panting. "M-May?"
"Another bad dream, sweetie?"
The pink mare nodded. "I keep seeing her face..."
May sighed. "I know how you feel. I keep seeing Dawn in my dreams."
"It's not the same!"
May gasped softly. "What do you mean?"
"It's different! You didn't kill your sister!" she yelled, getting out of bed and leaving the room.
The red unicorn hesitated briefly before getting out of bed and looked down the hall to the right. Pinkamena was out on the balcony, resting her forelegs on the banister. May slowly trotted over to her.
"Pinks, I'm sorry... I wasn't thinking."
"I just miss her so much," whimpered Pinkie. "I bet in your dreams you're happy to see your sister, but... all I have are nightmares about how I killed mine."
May stepped up beside her and put a hoof around her. "You're right... You did have it worse than me... but... I'll never leave you. I will always be there if you need to talk. Okay?"
Pinks smiled. "Th-Thanks..." She sniffled and wiped her eyes. "Just... how could it have come to this? I was the only one who'd play with Cherry when she was a foal, you know..."
"What exactly is Cherry's story?" asked May. "And why is she a unicorn if you're an earth pony?"
Pinkamena took a deep breath. "I had two sisters named Inkie and Blinkie, a mother, and a father. Like a normal family. Then, one day my father finds out that our mom cheated on him with a... unicorn colt. He was mad, but... since she didn't say she was pregnant, he soon let it go. But when Cherry was born, he left. Inkie and Blinkie then hated Cherry for ruining our family."
"Didn't they know it was the mom's fault?"
"No pony told us. We thought it was due to her birth and her birth alone. But, I found out... Fast forward years later to after my first kill, I... made Cherry kill our mom."
May gasped and put a hoof to her mouth. "What?"
"Well, needless to say, she snapped. I mean, she was about as cunning and sneaky as me, but... she like killing WAY too much even for my tastes. Then, one day, she got arrested and thrown into the Manehattan Asylum."
"She didn't rat you out to the Guard?"
"She's like me in that regard. She would never put her family at risk. But... she was sweet as a foal... I just wish I had been nicer to her..."
May said nothing. She just did her best to take in this new information about her fiancé. She never knew that she had corrupted her sister and turned her into a killer.
"So, when you said that it was your fault..."
Pinkamena nodded. "Yep. I made her what she was. I'll never forgive myself now."
May hugged her. "I'm sorry."
"Not as sorry as I am."
May kissed her neck. "Come on... Come back to bed..."
"Why?" asked Pinkamena. "So I can have nightmares?"
"No, I..." said May before sighing. "Would you like some... time to think?"
Pinks eyed her and nodded. "That'd be nice."
May smiled and nodded before kissing her cheek. "Come to bed when you're ready, okay?"
The pink mare nodded. "I will. Thank you."
The unicorn patted the pink mare's back before heading inside. Pinkamena watched her leave and then looked up at the moon.
"Oh, sis..." she whimpered.

"Sis?" asked the foal.
"What is it?" asked Pinkie Pie, laying on the couch, watching TV.
"Can you play with me? I'm bored."
"No."
"But..."
"I said... no," replied the pink mare. "Go bug somepony else."
Tears fell from the foal as she trotted off.

Pinkamena circled her sister. "I have a game we could play."
"What?" asked the magenta mare.
"Well, you wanted to know what I've been up to, right?"
"B-But, you always ignored me when I was a foal."
"I was wrong," said the pink mare, placing a hoof on Cherry's shoulder. "And I apologize."
Cherry smiled. "Thanks..." She paused. "So... That game?"
Pinkamena grinned.

Pinkamena tried to shake away the memory of her making Cherry kill their mother.

"She's a slut!" yelled Pinkamena.
Cherry stared down at her mom, knife raised. "I can't!" she cried. "Please, don't make me!"
"Do it!" yelled the pink mare. "She hated you. Resented you. Every time she sees you, she's reminded of she failed our family. She betrayed us! Now, kill her!"
The mother whimpered as Cherry cried. "I... I..."
"KILL HER!!!"
Cherry sobbed loudly and brought the knife down. She then began to repeatedly stab the mare beneath her, sobbing while doing so.

Pinks closed her eyes. "I'm so sorry, sis..."
