The Journey of Blaze Wing the white parasprite

by The One With The Crystal

Bad News

Blaze flew around town for a bit searching for a job that he could work at to pay off his debts. So far all he got was rude ponies yelling at him, two women fainting, two angry husbands trying to kill him, and he almost took an arrow to the face. "Man, I guess a lot of ponies hate parasprites." Blaze said to himself. Blaze checked how much energy he had left in his Blaziks. With three 'clicks' Blaze knew he didn't have much left.

Knowing how ponies work and how they didn't like the idea of a wild parasprite roaming loose in the city. They probably have some guards keeping a close eye on him. There weren't that many shops that the white parasprite could go to. He had thought about going to a bakery, but then he had some second thoughts. Blaze might accidentally eat the sweat and then be in even more debt. Then he saw something. A stand with two diamond dogs in it. The one to the right had brown fur with a black stripe going around his neck. The one to the left was a light black with a scar over his right eye. Blaze was excited to see someone that he could actually talk to without trying to get killed.

The diamond dogs were about to leave the stand when they spotted Blaze flying to them. "Brother Blaze! It good to see you." Said the diamond dog to the right. "Its good to see you to Nenetix. How are things going in the mines?" Asked Blaze. "Everything good. Exploded mine-shaft fixed. Found two stock worth of gems, but that not important. What happened to Brother Blaze's village?" said the dog to the left. "Himick what are you talking about?" asked Blaze. "Diamond Dog leader went to go find Brother Blaze to tell news, but when leader got to Brother Blaze's village it was burnt down. Many wingless parasprites were found." Nenetix said. "What!?!" Blaze yelled. He was surprised to hear about this. He didn't even care that ponies were starting to look towards him.

"It true. Large funeral ceremony was preformed. Not much of village was spared. We only found bag with coins in it." Himick said. He reached under the stand and pulled out a sack of bits. "Did anyone survive?" Blaze asked. His eyes were filled with concern. "Sorry Brother Blaze, we do not know." Himick said. "Thanks anyway guys. Hey are you going to use that bag of bits?" Blaze asked. "No, Brother. You can have it." Nenetix said as he handed over the bag of bits to Blaze. The bag was heavy for the little parasprite to carry, but he had carried heavier things before. Blaze made his way back to the castle feeling really tired and depressed. He gave over the bag to the servant that was given the task to watch Blaze while he stayed at the castle.

The servant counted forty bits and said that he would take them to the princess. "Ten bits left over." Blaze said. He was about to fly back to his room, but a piece of paper landed right in front of him. It read:

Dear Blaze,
Sorry about what happened to your friends and family, but don't be too sad. Your two closest friends are still alive. Also you probably want revenge on the ponies that destroyed your village and yes. Three ponies attack, murdered, and burnt down your village. I bet that makes you angry doesn't it. The three ponies will be at a bar this evening telling how they scored the biggest batch of parasprite wings in the season. Do as you wish.
Signed, D

Blaze was slightly relieved that his two best friends managed to survive, but that didn't cover the fact that he was angry. His anger reached levels he didn't know existed. The black crystal gems in his Blaziks began to glow a dark red. Blaze's anger fueled the crystal gems' power. 'Click'. Blaze knew he had to get out of here and now.'Click click'. Blaze flew as fast as he could and managed to burst through a door that led to a garden. 'Click click click.' Blaze search for the nearest body of water and found a small pond. He jumped in the pond just in time. His Blaziks unleashed a powerful column of fire for all to see.

It soared high in the sky and twisted and turned into the form of a phoenix. It was the twilight hour and both princesses watched the show in awe. Even the ponies below in Canterlot could see it and watched in awe as well, but this show was not to last forever and the phoenix faded away. Blaze was laying down on his side with his wings limp. The water that wasn't evaporated fell back to the ground. A crowd began to flock towards the site to where that saw the spectacular show. Only to find more that most of the pond water was gone and Blaze pasted out on the ground.
