Hello. I'm Cody Blaze. Not much about me though. I'm just a regular pegasus searching for my place in this world. I was abandon as a foal and got adopted.....twice. And I also lost them as well.
I then traveled across Equestria for many years trying to find out where I should go next? I then finally got myself a place to live. And it's in Ponyville. I also got a new family and lots of new friends. And I couldn't be happier.
And as the days went on I sit ontop of a cloud looking at the sky. I gave a smile as it kept going on. I now have a new family. A new life to start.
And I'm gonna make sure that I don't lose that again! "*sighs*.....I sure hope something happens today. I'm bored" I said.
Just then I heard somepony calling out to me. "Hey Cody!" Said Applejack. I looked down to see Aj waving at me. I smiled and waved back at her.
"Can ya come down here for a minute sugar'cube? Ah' wanna ask ya something." Asked Applejack. "Sure be down in a second." I replied.
I then hopped off my cloud, flew toards Aj and landed in front of her. "What can I help ya with Aj?" I asked her. "Well I need some help applebucking today. Big Mac hurt his leg and we need a replacment. Care to help out?" Asked Applejack while she gave me her best puppy dog eyes.
I chuckled. "Sure. I don't mind" I replied with a smile. "Thanks fer' the help Sugar'cube. Ah' Appreciate it." Said Applejack. We arrived at Sweet Apple Acres and I began to work.
I bucked a few apple trees and help putting them in storage. After a few hours we were done with the day. "Phew. Done." I said.
Applejack walked up to me. "Thanks fer' the help Cody." Said Aj as she handed me my pay. "This is fer' all yer hard work" Said Applejack as she smiled.
"Thanks Aj." I replied with Aj smile. As I began to take my leave it seems like Aj wanted somethig else. "Um....can you hold on for a sec sugar'cube?" Asked Applejack.
"Sure Aj. What is it?" I asked. "Well do ya wanna hang out?" Asked Applejack. "Sure thing Applejack." I replied with a smile. "Where to?" I asked. "Well....how about the park?" Asked Applejack. "Alright then." I replied.
We walked together as we arrived at the park. We then walk over to a hill and sat. I looked around to see what else the other ponies are doing. I smiled as I saw them enjoying their day.
"So what'ch ya thinking about sugar'cube?" Asked Applejack. "Eh...not much. Just looking at everyone and see them enjoying there day" I replied. Appljack giggles at my response. And I chuckled back.
After a few days passed I woke as usual. I got out of bed and began to stretch." Mm....AH!" I then walked down stairs and grabbed some food and headed out.
As I got into town I spotted Appljeack again. I smiled and walk towards her seeing if she wanted to hang out again? As I approcahed Aj I noticed something was....different about her today.
She had bags under her eyes, Her mane was a mess, and she wobbled like she was drunk. So I decided to find out what happened. "Aj? Are you alright?" I asked her.
She then turned to me. "Ya...*cough* Ah'm alright. Just a bit *cough cough* winded is all" Said Applejack. I touched her forehead and sighed. "Aj you're sick. You need rest." I told her.
Applejack shakes her head. "No....*cough* I need to work." Said Applejack. I walked in front of her. "No. You need rest now come on." I replied as I pushed her towards Her place.
As I kept pushing Applejack back home she tried to struggle her way but she was too dizzy to keep on trying. And in the end she collapsed on the road. I sighed, picked her up and headed towards her home again.
Minutes later we arrive at Sweet Apple Acres. I walked inside and greet Granny Smith and Big Mac. I figured Applebloom is still trying to find out to get her cutie mark. I chuckled and took Applejack to bed.
I walked inside and place AJ in bed. She was sweating from the fever so I went back down stairs and grabbed a bucket and a towel. I then walked back in. I got the towel wet and placed it on her forehead.
Her breathing began to decress back to normal. I smiled and went back home. I figured that her family can tak care of her now.
Then next day I walked back to Sweet Apple Acres and see how AJ is doing. As I walk in all I can see is Big Mac trying to hold down Applejack while Granny Smith and Applebloom are trying to calm her down.
"Grr...let me go! Ah' have work to do." Said Applejack. "But you need yer rest little one." Said Granny Smith. "No Ah' don't!" Replied Applejack. "Come on sis. You're sick and need rest." Said Applebloom.
It's seems Applejack just couldn't wait to be in good health. I chuckle again and walk to them. "I can take Aj's shift until she's better." I said. They all stopped and looked at me like I was crazy.
"You would do that fer us Cody?" Asked Applebloom. I nodded back. "No he can't do it. It's mah responsability." Said the stubborn Applejack. We all laughed. Then after a bit Applejack agreed to let me help.
As we all left Applejack's room I was given a few tasks. I had to buck a dozen apple trees and put the apples in the apple cellar. Then I had to move some hay over to the barn. And finally I had to farm some corn and that would be it for today. "No problem" I said. I just hope it's not as hard as it sounded.
I grabbed some baskets and placed them under the trees I had to buck. And As I was setting it all up I was wondering how far I could go? I figured just bucking would be enough for some excitment today but I decided to go with the alternative.
After I got all of the basktes in place I was deciding if I should fly around the trees and see if that would spice things up? So I flew up high as possible but I had to make sure I got the right altitude. I then flew back down, tucked my wings in to gain some speed. And as I got a few inches from the ground I opened my wings up and took off.
I flew past the trees and with the force of my speed and the wind all of the apples fell down into the baskets. I used my wings to stop myself but as I did I saw a few more apples heading my way. I ducked from them and the next thing I hear is a window breaking. *CCCRRRAAASSSHHHH*
As that happened it felt like time was slowing down then I heard it. *CCCOOODDYYY!!!* Yelled the angry Big Mac. "Oh great..." I replied. I walked back to the house ready for what's happening.
"What were ya thinking Cody?! Ya broke five windows!" Yelled Big Mac as he pointed to the windows I broke. "I'm sorry Big Mac..I just..." Big Mac had such anger in his eyes. "You could've got Applebloom or Granny hurt!" Said Big Mac. I lowered my head and ears. "I'm sorr...." I get cut off. "Ah' don't want to hear it!" Said Big Mac.
I never felt so ashamed at what I did. "Yer fired. Get out." Said Big Mac. I raised my head. "W..What?" I replied. "You heard me. Yer fired. Get out now before I force you out. I don't want you to be anywhere near mah family!" Said Big Mac. Tears are forming around my eyes. "Big Mac... it was an accident. Please give him another chance?" Said Applejack.
"Why should I? He's just another trouble maker. He doesn't even deserve to be in Ponyville! He should go back to where he belongs!" Yelled Big Mac.
The dam just burst. Tears flow downed my face as I turn and flew out of Sweet Apple Acres. "Big Mac!" Said Applejack as she ran after me. Big Mac then realized that it he just crossed the line as he lowered his head.
I kept flying as more emotions came up. I kept thinking if this really was the best idea? Did everyone think this way? I didn't care. I landed and walked to a lake. I then cried my heart out in pain.
Applejack keeps running and yelled out for me. "CCCOOODDDY!!! WHERE ARE YOU?!" Yelled out Applejack. She kept running and yelling out to find me.
After an hour Applejack was ready to give up but when Twilight and the others including her family show up she gives a slight smile and they all keep looking for me.
As everyone searches all over the place Applejack starts to get worried that something happened so as she went farther into the forest she starts hearing somepony crying so she starts running to where the crying is from.
As I keep crying I curled up into a ball and hope that this day can end. That was until I heard a noise. I looked up and saw AppleJack. "Cody. There ya are!" Said Applejack. I turn my head and I don't even repsond to her. Applejack then walks to me and sits besides my hugging me and comforting me.
"It's okay sugar'cube. Big Mac didn't mean it... He was just worried about us was all" Said Applejack as she comforts me. I keeped crying as Applejack keeps comforting me. Minutes later Big Mac and the rest comes in. He walks up to me with his head lowered. "Cody... Ah'm sorry I snapped at ya. I was just worried about Mah family is all. Please forgive me?" Asked Big Mac.
I nodded still trying to recover for what happened. I get up and walk back to my place. Applejack looked at her family and whispered to them. "Ah'm going to stay the night at Cody's. He's still sad and I think he needs comfort. Ah'll be back tomorrow." Said Applejack as she walked back with me.
As we reach my place Applejack is amazed at the details inside. "Did you paint all of this?" Asked Applejack. "Yeah I did." I replied. Applejack chuckled. "Ah'm surprised that you aren't an artist." Said Applejack. I chuckled a bit. "I tried it once but I just couldn't paint that darn fruit bowl right." I replied. Applejack started laughing and snorting at my joke. I smiled a bit.
"Ah'm glad yer smiling. I don't like it when someone is sad." Said Applejack. "Thanks..." I replied with a slight smile. Applejack nudged me and then she leaned on me so I could get more comfortable. Hours have passed but I guess my body couldn't take it. I passed out leaning on Aj.... heck she did the same thing. Even though it started out bad in the end it was a great day.
The next day arrived and I woke up first. I yawned, blinked and looked around to see what happened. I turned to see Applejack sleeping next to me. I moved out of the way slowly so I didn't wake her up and I blushed a bit.
"Come on Cody.... you can't dude. She's your friend!" I whispered. I shook off the idea and went into the kitchen to make something. I felt pancakes so I got everything out and began to cook.
I grabbed the ingredients from the cupboard and started cooking. And a few minutes later Applejack finally woke up. She yawned from being awake and she walked over to me. "Morning Cody." Said the half awake Applejack. "Morning Aj." I replied. "So what'cha making?" Asked Applejack. "Pancakes." I replied.
A few minutes later the pancakes were ready and I handed her some as well as some for me. We then started chowing down on them. Aj gulped it down like it was an apple. "Thanks fer the meal Cody." Said Applejack. "No problem" I replied.
"Now ya better get to work. We need some help today." Said Applejack. I then lowered my head and my ears dropped. "Are you sure? I don't want to cause anything...." I replied saddily. "Of course! Big Mac was sorry fer what he said and Applebloom misses seeing you there. So please?" Asked Applejack.
I just sat there still feeling sad and depressed. But that was until Aj walked up to me and lifted my head up. "Please?" Asked Applejack as she gave a puppy dog face at me. I smiled. "Okay." I replied. Applejack smiled as we walk towards Sweet Apple Acres again.
As we went to the house I see Big Mac standing there on the porch. I was still a bit scared that I would get yelled at again that is until Big Mac Walked up to me. "Cody... Ah'm sorry I yelled at ya. I was just worried about mah family. Please forgive me? I'll raise yer pay?" Asked Big Mac. I then smiled. "I forgive you." I replied. Everyone smiled and I was glad this day was over with.
The next couple of days were great! Not only did I get my job back I also got a raise! I was really happy. But I was getting distracted a bit. Applejack is now becoming more of a friend to me. I think that I may love her. She's always been kind to me ever since I arrived here. So have a lot of ponies but Applejack... I don't know how to explain it but she just gets me.
I try not to think about it and even try to forget and even get rid of the idea but the feelings keep coming back. Sooner or later I feel like I'm going to snap and do something I will regret.
A week has gone by and my feelings continue to tempt me. But I'm hanging on strong. The day has been very slow. Expecially since Big Mac went to Manehatten due to buisness. And Applebloom is now spending a bit more time with her friends and of course Granny Smith is on vacation. So it's just me and Applejack at the farm.
Me and Applejack started putting away the rest of the apples for today. And as I put down the last barrel I slumped down relaxing and catching my breath. I pant from exhaustion as Appleajck walked up to me. "You okay sugar'cube?" Asked Applejack. *Yeah... Just winded is all" I replied. Applejack giggled as she went back up stairs. "Hey when yer done resting bring up some cider. I feel like celebrating!" Asked Applejack. "Sure thing Aj." I replied.
After a few more seconds of resting I got up and looked around for some cider. I knew there were tons but I wanted to find the right set. As I walked down the hallway I was starting to think I should just get one and go. But as I reached the end of the hallway I saw one peticular cider pack. It was a bit dusty for me to read but I could alsmot make it out. "Apple's... Sweet.. Delight? That sounds good!" I said. So I picked up the cider pack and trotted upstairs.
I walked to the kitchen table and placed the bottles on the table. Applejack then walked to the table and took a seat. "Found some?" Asked Applejack. I nodded. "Well then let's have a treat then." Said Applejack. She picked one up and started gulping it down. I smiled and started drinking one as well. And as I finished my first bottle an idea came upon me. "Hey Applejack." I asked. "Yes? What is it?" Replied Applejack. "How about a drinking competition?" I asked with a smirk.
Applejack grinned. "Oh yer on!" Said Applejack as she gulped down hers and went for another. I chuckled and grabbed two bottles and began gulping them down. We keep gulping them down until there was no cider left. "I'll get more." I replied as I brought up some more fo the Apple's Sweet Delight. I then came back up with at least 10 more boxes of them. We then started drinking them until one of us threw up or couldn't drink anymore.
Hours have passed and everything was getting fuzzy. I could barrly feel anything except the drink. "*hic* You won't beat me A...*hic* Aj." I said. Applejack giggled. "I.. *hic* Highly... *hic* doubt it sugar'cube... *hic*" Replied Applejack. We keep drinking until the 10 boxes of cider were gone. As I finished the last one the room began to spin until I fell over. Applejack laughed. "Looks like I... *hic* I... *hic*" Said Applejack. But before she could even finish her sentence she fell over next to me laughing.
"Wow... the whole room is.. *hic* spinning." Said Appleajck. We both chuckled continuously until we calmed down. I turned my head to look at Aj as she did the same. I smiled at her and scooted closer to her. Applejack smiled as well. I then got next to her. "What....*hic* Is it sugar'cube?" Asked Applejack. I couldn't hold it back anymore. "Applejack... *hic* I love you...* I said as I leaned in and kissed Applejack. Applejack was a bit shocked at first then she slowly closed her eyes as we kissed. But then everything went black.
The next day arrived and Applejack was the first to wake up. She started looking around and seeing what happened? But before anything she rushed to the bathroom to get rid of the stomach problem. Then as she walked back out she first looked at the cider and as she picked it up her eyes widen. "This.... this is the Apple's Sweet Delight!" Said Applejack. She then stopped and looked at me. She dropped the bottle and started panicking. "Oh no... Oh no oh no oh no! This did not just happen!" Said Applejack.
I finally woke up and looked around. "Ugh.. what happened last night? Ow.. my head.." I said as I grabbed my head to stop the pain and spinning. Then I see Applejack standing next to me. I could tell she's very angry with me. The rage, the fire and the fear in her eyes made me not only depressed and scared as well.
"Cody..." Applejack siad in a soft tone. "Applejack.. I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me!" I replied softly. I knew it was pointless but I had to try. "Get out..." Said Applejack. I tried to respond back but she cut me off. "AH SAID GET OUT!!" Yelled the furious Applejack. I lowered my head and walked out of the house and headed home. I felt so ashamed at what i did. I betrayed not only my friedn but her trust too. I felt like scum and that's what I am.
3rd POV: Applejack
Days have passed since Ah told Cody to leave. Ah was so angry with him. Was he just using me to get his own way? Did he get us drunk so he can do as he please? Or... was he telling the truth and just was too shy to admit it. So many thoughts and feelings were rushing through my head Ah couldn't think.
Ah kept working as it went on. But Cody not only didn't show at work He hasn't been seen around Ponyville for the past week. Everypony was getting worried. Even Rainbow. All they know is Cody is still at his house but he just tells them to 'Go away' Even Fluttershy and Pinkie can't even reach him. Ah could already tell it was my fault. He's now depressed and sad at what happened he just wants to be left alone.
Ah shouldn't have yelled him like that. He's alway been a very sensitive pony. But I was just so scared at what might've happened I just snapped. I then decided to go over to Cody's place and try to apologize.
Ah then head towards Cody's house. Thanks to Pinkie I was able to find out where he is. I never would've thought that his house would be this far out from Ponyville. But what surprised me was his house. It was pretty big! I swore it was big as my barn or even bigger! I walked up to the door nervous... "C'mon Aj... You can do it." I then knocked on the door three times.
"Cody? It's me Applejack. Can I come in?" Silence. Ah only heard silence. I kocked again. "Please? Everypony is worried about you. Please let me in.." Still nothing. Ah started to get angry and I knocked harder than before "Will you let me in gosh darn it?!" I waited a bit then the door finally opened. Ah sighed and headed inside the room was amazing with detail.
The walls, ceiling and items were breathtaking then all i saw was a red pegasus with his ear lowred so far even a donkey would've mistaken him for one of there own. His eyes were completely red and even his coat was a bit dull. "Cody? You okay" I asked. He just turned his head not saying a word. "C'mon Cody. Cheer up." Still nothing. I sighed. "Cody... look Ah'm sorry. I shouldn't have snapped at ya. i was just scared that Ah got tooken advantage off is all. Please forgive me?" I asked.
Still nothing. All he did was just nodded and head towards his couch. He then layed there still tears dripping down his face. Ah knew he ws still sad and probably heartbroken. So I walked over to him to try and help comfort him.
I then placed my hoof on him. "Cody.." He just pulled away. "Cody please tell me what's wrong?" I asked him. For a few seconds it looked like nothing Ah could say would make him talk. "Scum..." He replied. Ah looked at him very confused.
"Pardon?" I asked. "I'm nothing but scum...." He said. "Cody.. No you're not." I replied. "Yes I am.. I betrayed you, your trust and your family... I am nothing but scum..." He said as more tears streak down his face. Ah then realzied the truth. He did care for me. i never would say this too but... Ah like him too. Ah then grabbed Cody's face and kissed him and then there was the spark...
3rd POV: Cody
Just as I thought everything was going down hill I felt Aj kissing me again. I thought this was just som petty kiss but.... it wasn't I felt so much passion and fire from her that I returned it ten fold. We were kissing for what felt like an eternity until we finally broke it. "Aj?" I said but before anything else she placed her hoof on my lips.
"Just shut up." She said as she kissed me again. I felt like I was in a dream and for a bit I thought it was.... that is until she whispered in ym ear "I love you too Cody.." I just smiled so brightly I felt like Pinkie pie as she makes a new friend. Aj hugged me until I fell asleep. And all I could hear is her giggling before everything went black.
The next day i woke up in a bed. I knew it wasn't mine. So I went downstairs to see what's going on and I then see Applejack in a apron cooking some breakfast. I then see her turning around towards me. "Morning Sugar'cube!" Beamed the Cute Orange pony. I smiled back. "Morning Aj." I took a seat and relaxed myself. Aj brought me s plate of waffles and pancakes. I grabbed two fo each and began chwoing down.
Aj smiled at me and she began to eat some as well. And after we had our fill we then packed a few things up and headed out for our first date. We reached a nice spot on a hill were you can see all of Ponyville at. I rolled out the mat and sat next to Aj. We relaxed and just watched until we were hungry.
Hours have passed after we had some food and we decided to head home. And today was a very perfect day.... That is until we got home. As Aj opened the door we saw Big Mac standing in front of the door with such cold eyes at me. I could tell he was about to yell again. that is until he sighed and jestered us in. I was a bit confused but we could tell no matter what he said it won't change our minds.
And as the days passed our relationshipped blossomed into something wonderful. Everyone was very happy for us. Big Mac... did took the longest to accept but he came around later.
Aj is still the same ol' mare I fell for and this time I wanted to have some fun. So we had went on a date to Sugarcube Corner but this was going to be a little bit different.
I order two Banana Splits and I sat next to Aj. I then grinned. "Hey Aj." I asked. "Yes? What is it sugar'cube?" Replied Aj. "How about we make this more interesting?" I asked her. "What do ya have in mind?" Aj asked me.
"Okay first one to eat their banana split the fastest wins. And the loser must do whatever the winner say. Deal?" Applejack just grinned. "Deal!" We then started to eat as fast as we could.
And as I was eating I saw that Aj was just chomping it down too fast. So I picked up my plate and just let the dessert slide into my stomach. And before Aj knew what happened I put the plate down. "Done!" I said victoriously.
Applejack sighed then smiled. "Well Ah' lost fair and square. So.. what do I have to do?" She asked. I then grinned evilly. "You have to wear a very fancy dress for two hours straight. I could already see Applejack's soul being torn. "Wha.. what now?" She asked nervously. "You have to wear the prettiest and most fanciest dress for two hours straight." I replied. Applejack was extremly nervous. She began to back up.
"W-Where would you get one this time of day?" She asked. I then nodded to Pinkie. She then came back out with a really fancy dress. "I asked Pinkie earlier to get Rarity to make this. " I replied while walking to Aj.
She did try to get away but thanks to Pinkie I was able to get the dress on and I just laughed. Aj was blushing so much I could've sworn that she got bite by a bug.
"aww... don't you look cute Applejack?" I chuckled. She just turned and scoffed. "So what should we do now? Oh I know Let's go see Rarity. Or maybe Rainbow? Oh! Or Even the Princesses!" I said while trying to hold my laughter in.
But then someponies began to walk in. And Aj's cheeks were even more red than before. They all began to laugh at her. I then finaly realized I went to far. I then lead Aj into the back and helped her remove the dress. "Aj.. I'm so sorry. I didn't meant o.." I was cut off. "YES YOU DID! YOU WANTED THIS!" Yelled Aj.
I was about to try and tell her that I was sorry but she didn't want to here it. I just lowered my head and went home. Aj was being comforted by Pinkie. I felt even worse than before.
Days have passed and Aj hasn't talked to me. I would go to work but I could tell it wouldn't change anything. I decided to go to Zecora's and ask for some nice tea. So I entered the Everfree and headed towards her hut.
As I kept walking towards Zecora's hut i felt like I was being watched. I mean don't get me wrong every time I walk into the Everfree it feels odd but this time... It was just creepy.
And as I was starting to get worried I hear a twig crack behind me and as I turned around all I saw was something colliding at me and pushing me to the ground. "what the?" I said.
"CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS MONSTER CATCHERS!! YAY!!" Screamed the three little fillies. "Wait... that's not a monster." Said Scootaloo. "Yeah I'm not. Can you please get off of my?" I asked. The three fillies jumped off of me.
"Sorry Mr. Cody... We thought you were a monster" Said Sweetie Belle. "It's okay girls. Why not head back home? It's not safe here." I asked them. "But we have to capture a monster and see if we can get out cuite marks." Said Applebloom. They all them screamed happily and ran off. "Wait!" I yelled as I chased after them.
3rd POV: Applejack
Ah sat with Twilight and the others fro a nice relaxing chat. Of course Raritty and Rainbow were asking a lot about Cody. Ah told them what I wanted them to know but I kept a few things secret. Twiligth was just about to ask me something too until Scootaloo ran in panting.
"Co... Cody.." Is all she said. My eyes widen and Ah ran out. Ah didn't know where Ah was going but my instincts guided me. Ah ran fast as Ah could through the Everfree that is until Ah stop and saw what Ah thought was just a dream.
There... Laid on the ground was a red pegasus... not moving nor breathing... I feared the worst and I walked up to the body and my whole life just crashed before me. There was Cody... Unconscious and bleeding. Ah Picked him up and ran towards the hospital.
After Ah got there they started operatiing on him. The girls were trying their best to help me... But all Ah could do was pray and hope for the best. The Doctor finally came out. "Doctor? Is he?" Ah asked. All he did was shake his head. "His body is too damaged... I don't know if he can make it at all.." He replied.
He allowed us to go in. Fluttershy was the first to leave.. She couldn't handle a close friend passing before her. Pinkie was next. Her hair just dropped and had barely any color to it. Next Was Rarity.. She and the rest of the Cutie Mark Crusaders all left. Rainbow flew out after that. Twilight though... she stayed beside me.
Ah was just about to head home too... Until Ah saw Cody opening his eyes. "Cody!" Me and Twi both ran up to him. He had a weak smile. "What's with the tears you two? They don't suit amazinf mares as you two..." He said to us. All Ah could do was just hug him.
But just then his heart monitor started going all wacky on us. Cody was panting and he felt cold. "Aj..." He said. Ah looked at him as tears began to fall down my face. "Aj.. I don't want to die... please make the pain stop!!" He cried to me. "You won't die.. You can't!" Ah replied as Ah hold him.
Twilight ran out to get the doctors. But by the time they got back it was too late. Cody... my love had died in my arms. Ah just screamed out. Ah didn't want to believe it nor except it. Ah tried to find a way to make him wake up. Ah first tried to shake him awake. It didn't work... Then I tried teasing him... Still nothing...
Next Ah tired to be angry with him... Ah kept telling him to wake up now or Ah'll leave him... Nothing. Ah just broke down. Ah couldn't handle it. The doctors then took Cody from me as Twilight comforted me.
Days have passed and Ah haven't left my room. Ah couldn't deal with anything anymore. Ah missed Cody. Ah wanted him back. "Why? WHY DID HE HAVE TO DIE!!" Ah screamed out loud. Ah just couldn't bear the thought of losing him. He was my special somepony. In fact he was my dream stallion. And Ah don't think Ah can live anymore without him.
A couple of weeks have passed and everyone in Ponyville were at Cody's funeral. Everyone was there. Even the rest of the Apple Family. Ah just couldn't stand here.. But Ah had to... Celestia gave a wondeful speech about Cody and how his life affected everyone here. Until it was time for us to say out goodbyes.
Everypony gave their goodbyes until it was only me left. Ah got up and walked to Cody's coffin. Ah leaned in and hugged him one last time. "Ah love you Cody... Sweet dreams my love." Celstia then hugged me as they lowered his coffin.
Later after we all sherd our tears Celstia walked up to me to say how sorry she was that he passed. She then gave me a letter. Ah opened it to see who it was. But to my surprise it was Cody. Looks like he really was always prepaired.
"Dear Applejack,"
"If you're reading this then I guess it's my time. I just wanted to say that I love you Aj. And I'm glad I met you."
"I may not have a lot to give but I do have a few things. The firs thing is I want you to have my vest. It ment a lot to me."
"Next is don't give up on life. I may be gone but you shouldn't worry about me. Keep on living."
"Also make sure the others don't are okay. I don't want anypony feeling miserable with out me. Time does heal all wounds"
"The next thing I have is a small little apple seed. I put it in the photo of us in your room. With that seed you can grow the best apples you have ever tasted."
"And finally remeber this. I am always with you Applejack. Never forget that. Goodbye my love. I hope to see you soon."

Tears just poured down my face. Ah just dropped down and cried. Not just in pain but in joy too. The others comforted me until Ah regained myself.
Ah then went back to the house and took out the seed as well as putting on Cody's vest. Me and the others then planted the seed.
"Ah know I need to live on Cody.. But it won't be the same as without you... Ah'm still going to live on the rest of my days... But.. It'll be hard. So make sure you wait for me okay sugarcube?" Ah asked as Ah looked into the sky.
We all then travled back to Cody's grave as we set down our last gifts. I sat down in front of the grave as I cried again. "Goodbye suagr'cube... Ah'll miss you..."
