Chapter 5
Goodbye


You angrily march your way through the streets of Ponyville as you found the familiar white unicorn filly sobbing on the streets as a taller white unicorn with a curly purple mane placed a shoulder around her comforting her. You approach the unicorns as the mare looks up at you with a face that could kill Celestia. "ARE YOU THE ONE WHO DID THIS!? YOU BRUTE!" The mare screams as she raises a fist and strikes your face, you endure in pain as your cheeks turns violet. The unicorn filly grabs the unicorn mare in fear as she cries in plead.

"Rarity no stop it, that's not him!" The filly pleaded as the mare dropped her fist with a timid expression on her face.

"Oh no! Are you alright darling? My sincere apologies I didn't-"

You object the mare as you place a hand in front of her face. "It's alright, where's the thief?" The unicorn filly walked up to you as she hugged you in safety.

"He went to the nearby alley way just down the street." The filly informed as you stomp your way down the streets. You walk along the streets looking for any hints as you come across a faint snicker. It was sounds of greed and cruelty, you follow the snickering as you reach said alley way. You come closer as the greedy laughter began to grow and grow tall as you quickly hid behind a nearby dumpster bin and peek through the corner. You find a stallion laughing to himself as he started to dissemble the scooter piece by piece.

"Hey!" You intimidate as the thief turns around with a face twisted as swirls.

"Yea? Whut ye want?" He spoke in an brutish tone.

"I want that scooter, give it back or else."

"Ye, you an wut ahmy?"

"These two armies." you proclaim as you hold out your two fists. "Meet mustang, and sally."

"A fight, meh yu's been BO!" He mocked as he ran in front of you with fists ready. He thrust his left fist at you but you hang right a little as the intercept his arm as you block and wrap your left arm around his. You raise your right arm as you brought down your elbow capping the stallion's arm as you let go and watch him scream in pain saying "Ahhh you mudda bucka! Yu'd pay for dis!" He said as he picked up the neck of the scooter, brought it up, and swung it downwards towards your left shoulder. You grab his opposing wrist as you wrap your arm around his and kick the back of his knees causing him to kneel in unjust. You take your right hand as you grab the scooter's neck from his trapped arm and struck at the thief's face... twice causing the nose to bleed and the eyes to become puffy. You drop the stallion as he'd become paralyzed from pain, you quickly wipe off the blood from the pipe on to your shirt as you take a nearby cardboard box and stack the supply of scooter parks in the box.

As you start to walk away from the thug you realize your biggest mistake. "Shit, I promised myself I wouldn't kill anyone here." You reminded yourself as you clear away from the alleyway and make way towards Derpy's house. As you walk with the box of parts you felt an uneasy presence on your left side. You turn around to find-

"Hello!" You jump back as your found The Doctor come out of nowhere. You stood up as you faced The Doctor with a face that could almost kill Celestia. "What? Oh, sorry about that scooter. Lemme fix that for ya." He said as he pulled out his screwdriver and flashed it over the box of parts, the scooter parts began to levitate as the parts began to puzzle together as a new, shinny, and efficient scooter appeared before your eyes. The newly repaired scooter then levitates back into your box as you shake your head into normality.

"Thanks Doctor, but why are you here? And why can't you just call out my name before you appear out of nowhere?" You said in a frustrated tone as you pick up the scooter in the box and walk towards Derpy's house.

"Well I'm sorry, I thought I might keep you company for my last day here." That surprised you as you remember that he told you he was going away...forever.

"So you're leaving? Forever?"

The Doctor gave a heavy sigh as he pulled out a different metal device with a blue tip on it. "Yes, I've been meaning to see Derpy personally but that would just hurt her even more, so I need you to do something for me."

"What?"

He places the silver rod in your box as he presses one button on it. "Flash this over Derpy for about 10 seconds when she's asleep...she will forget all about me." He explains as you nearly drop the box and instead drop your jaw.

"W-What? Why Doctor? And what is it?" You ask in a surprise tone.

"Well first it's a different screwdriver."

"Then why do you want me to do this?"

"Let me tell you something," he said as you both sat down on a nearby bench. "So when Derpy and I were traveling all across time and space, I noticed that she had a crush on me the entire time. Well she can't because of  well....problems. One, becuase I'm an alien. And two, is because I already have uh....special somepony." He explains as you slowly nod in understanding, facts are facts man.

"But why delete her memory?"

"Because, if she found out that I left her within memory, she would be depressed more than a rat stuck in glue trying to get cheese. I don't want to hurt her and this is the only way. If her memory is deleted, she won't experience any pain, but just make sure that she doesn't remember me."

"Why?" you asked in confusion.

"Her mind will burn and she will die." He said in a cold tone as he stood up from the bench. "Now I must leave, 'Silence will fall when the question is asked' and I came to make one last stop." He said with a smile.

"So I guess this is goodbye." He said as you stood up and shook his hand.

"Yes it is, goodbye. But I will come back one day, I swear on it." The Doctor pulled out his screwdriver and pointed it straight up, he flash it for a few seconds as he disappeared right before your very eyes. With his departure you continue with your quest with a new objective as you find Derpy's house and walk towards it with the box of a scooter and screwdriver. As you reach Derpy's house you knock on the door but to find it slightly open, you open the door to find a sleeping Dinky on the couch. You chuckle to yourself as you walk inside and close the door behind you, you place the box next to the couch and place the screwdriver in your pocket. You sit down next to Dinky as she wraps around you arm like a teddy bear.

"Mmmmm Daddy..." She softly purrs as she quietly snores. You chuckle as you hear tip toeing on the stairs, you look to find Derpy with a letter, a red one which is strange. She looks at you in surprise as she drops the red letter and swiftly picks it up as he face turns to a rose like color and places the letter behind her back.

"Y-Your here!" She exclaims in surprise. You place a finger on your lips as you point at the sleeping filly. "Oh sorry." She whispers. "So what are you doing here? And how did you get here?"

"Well one I thought I might give the scooter to Dinky since she knows the owner of the scooter. And I'm kinda sleepy." You said as you laid your back against the couch.

"Yea me to." She said as she let out a soft yawn. "Mind if I uh.... nap next to you?" She asks as your cheeks turns to slight pink.

"Uh...sure." You nervously answered as Derpy sits next to you as she leans on your shoulder. "Don't you have work?"

"That's what I thought, but a blue letter came for my boss and he immediately gave me the whole day off." She explained as you think about the blue letter.

This must be The Doctor's sign, looks like this is the one shot I'll have to do. "Yea that is strange in fact I-" You let out a fake yawn as you lay back your head against the couch. "-sorry I'm just sleepy." You said as you close your eyes and await patiently for Derpy to fall asleep. Minutes had past as you open your eyes to find the small family fast asleep on your sides. You slowly reach into your right pocket not trying to create a noise, as you slowly pull out the silver screwdriver, you point the blue end at Derpy's face as you press the only button on the rod as the sounds of mystery fills your ears. You do as The Doctor asks and flash it over her face for 10 seconds, after that the light automatically turns off and vanishes into thin air as a blue paper folded note is replaced on the palm of your hand. You unfold it as a light beams into your eyes as you see a message in thin air.


Ello sweetie, I'm his special one, thanks and 'shhh' about Derpy's past, no spoilers


The message disappears as well as the note as the paper crumples by itself and creates a small harmless explosion causing Derpy and Dinky snap open in surprise. "What happened!?" Derpy asks in surprise as you look around for an excuse.

"Ehh.... I don't know, maybe Rainbow did another rainboom." You stand up from the couch as you let out a loooooooong yawn, and a real one this time. "Well I'm still tired and sleepy, I'll just go home and-"

"Wait!" You were stopped as Derpy places a hand on your shoulder causing you to turn whitish pink. "Why not stay for dinner? I mean we always love to have company." She offers as you nod at the grey mare.

"Sure, why not? I couldn't just let a offer go to waste." You exclaim in a gleeful tone. "So what's for dinner?" The grey mare quickly flies to her refrigerator as she looks through the desert wasteland of fridge.

"Ummm." She was feared as she had no food left to feed her guest. You lean forward to find the empty chest of food, but then suddenly an idea hit your head.

"Hey don't worry about it, how 'bout I take us all to Sugar Cube Corner. My treat." You offer.

"No No No it's okay I...uh..." She tries to avert as she looks through every drawer, cabinet, and closet to find food to serve. You place a hand on the mare's head touching her soft hair as she paused and felt numb to her legs and straight to her wings.

"Please I insist, I still owe you after all."

The mailmare let out a soft sigh as she gave you a deep long hug. "Thank you, you're the only pony who cared."

Looks like it worked for real, I'm really sorry Derpy. The mailmare releases you from her hug as the three of you walk outside and towards Sugar Cube Corner.

"Can I ride on your shoulders?" Asked Dinky as you smile at the filly and pick her up and place her over your shoulders as she cheers and laughs in joy. "Thanks mister, you're like the dad I've never had." She exclaims as your's and Derpy's faces turn rose and crimson as you look at each other in embarrassment. You both slightly chuckle as the heat through your faces slowly fades away as you reach the treat covered house. You open the door for the two as you enter last, Pinkie Pie hops towards you with a happily gleefully face of joy.

"Hiya Derpy, you look happy!" The pink mare exclaimed as she embraced a comforting hug at Derpy who hugged back.

"Yea I'm all better, especially after what happened to Dinky."

"Hey Pinkie, can we get a table for 3?"

"Okie Dokie Lokie, just follow me." She said as she grab three menus and lead you and the small family towards a nearby table. You pull up chairs for the mare and filly as you were the last to sit, the waitress lies down the menus for you as you open them to search for a meal. "Alrighty then, I'll be back later to take your order, but for now would you like anything to drink?"

"I'll have a water." You order.

"Colk please." recommended Derpy

"And can I have an orange juice please?" asked Dinky

"Sure thing, now-" She paused as she pulled out a pair of black sunglasses and stood still with a hand open in front of us. "A'll be baak" She said in a germanian accent as she hopped away with your order leaving you and Derpy confused while Dinky giggled at Pinkie's joke.

"Uhhhh..... no comment." You said as you looked through the menu. "So watchu gonna get?" you ask as you skim through the food menu.

"Uhhh I don't know, maybe a salad or something, what about you?"

"Hmm I think I'll have a-"


---After their dinner and a lazy scene to make up food names---


The three of you walk back to Derpy's house after a wonderful dinner. "Ahhh I'm full, to bad we couldn't get dessert." Dinky pouted as you and Derpy chuckle at the complaint.

"Well I don't want you to get a stomach ache, and besides-" Derpy paused as she points at you. "I don't think he doesn't have much money left."

"Ehh....." You look in your pouch to only find a few bits inside... uh oh. "Uh... I only got like 10 more, guess I'm gonna starve and stay homeless for a few days." You proclaim as you stare down at the face of bankruptcy as your shoulder is greeted by a hand.

"What do you mean homeless?"

"My rent's due at the end of tomorrow and I don't have enough bits now."	

"Hey don't worry, you can stay at our place, seems that this is our fault anyways." She offers as she smiles at you.

"Thanks Derpy your a real friend." You thank as you give her a hug.

"C'mon you can stay at our place tonight and go back to your place in the morning."

"Thanks."





Luna's night was awoken, the creepers, and buggers, and nibblers are awake and the silver moon is planted in the night soil sky. The town's lanterns were blown black until one still lit golden red as the flame was about to see it's rest. As you blow out the last flame, you make way towards your house until you find somepony loitering on your front porch. You walk up to the pony who chewed on a toothpick and flipped a coin numerous times, you knew this pony but he looked...older when you last saw him. "I know you, your the master thief and street fighter from Canterlot are you." He gossips as he blocks your front door causing your fist to clench in frustration. "I don't know if you know me but I-"

"You were the one who raped that little pony 15 years ago you bitch." You said in a cold tone as you swing your fist at the stallion's gut and grab his head bringing it to your kneecap. He falls back to the floor as he gets back up in defiance.

"Ehhh guess somepony knows about that, how'd you know?" He asks as he held his fists in front of his face and slightly hopped side to side.

"I don't have to answer that. And I retired from Canterlot and started a new life here."

"Well I heard that you can pick good, but seeing my face I could already tell you declined my future offer. So now me and my boys a' gonna teach you a lesson." He said in a loud tone as 4 more stallion came from the nearby camouflaged shadows. "Boys get 'im." The leader announced as the 4 thugs ran at you, you jump back and watch as the clumsy thugs bash into each other like bowling pins. As they fall to the floor, get back up, and shake their heads in sense , one charges at you as he thrusts his fist at you. You slightly pull your right sight back as the thug misses and you grab his fist with your right hand and slap his face with your left leaving the thug stunned. During his post palatalization you bring your right fist straight on his nose as he begins to fall backwards, but with your left hand still gripped to his wrist, you fully grasp his arm as you bent it upwards creating a stick that was snapped in two....a white hidden stick. The thug yelled in pain as he passed out on the floor.

The other three thugs began to charge at you as you pause in intimidation, you can't take three at one. You close your eyes fro the worse as silence fell upon your ears. You open your eyes to find a fist mere centimeters from your face but it stopped like a frozen pony, you move normally as nopony could move at all. You look around to find a familiar blue box sitting right behind you with an unfamiliar pony standing outside. "D-Doctor? Is that you?"

"Yes." The doctor wore a white coat with a black fedora as he held his screwdriver in the air holding the release button. You walk up to the doctor as he simply smiled at you. "Now if you're wondering it is me, same but different. It's a way of cheating death, except I take in a new shape and form. New body, mouth, fingers, hair and I wish it was ginger-" he pouted. "teeth, eyes, legs, toes, ecetera ecetera, but you get the point."

You nod as you had no idea what he is talking about, but you just 'go with the flow' and nod in agreement. "So why did you come back Doctor?"

"Well first the TARDIS detected a distress signal leading here, so I came and knew exactly what to do. I used a co-time vortex wave to stop time for a few minutes, you have just enough times to lay trap or  knock down those thugs of yours. Now go, you only got five more minutes and I must go. Sayonara!" He said as he went inside his box and disappeared into thin air. You walk up the three charging thugs as you punched, kicked, and struck them to your hearts content as they were still frozen in time. You then walk up to the leader and rapist as you did one thing any stallion would do for sweet revenge. You kicked him in his apples numerous times as you began to strike him in his face and punch him in the chest. You walk inside your house and look outside with only seconds to spare.

*tick tock tick tock tick tock*

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh All of the thugs screamed as they dropped in immense pain that shot throughout all of their bodies at the same time. The leader felt the most as he felt something numb in his pants. They all fell to the floor as you close your window curtains and pack up for a new home, an awesome home. As you pack up your essentials you open the door to find your landlord with a few papers labeled EVICTION. "Sir you are gonna have to leave." He said in a stern tone.

"And I am, don't worry I pack up and everything. The house is somewhat clean and I am ready to move out." Your landlord had a surprised look on his face as he simply crumpled up the eviction notices and put them in his pocket. "I'll see ya later." You said as you walk away from your landlord, that was the last you saw of him.





You walk with your backpack full of essentials down the streets of Ponyville on your way towards Derpy's house. You close your eyes as you remember the past, you killed, stole, and became somewhat of a monster. But the real problem is, the past is always the future, it's mention, told, learned, but things will always remain as they were to be.The hardest part, is whether to tell Derpy, or not. I'm probably going to be homeless, but 'you only live once' and I only got one life. Good luck to me. 

You arrive at Derpy's house as you turn the knob, it was locked. You knock on the door and awaited patiently for a response...no response. You groan in annoyance as you look up at the window which was lit up, you grab a small nearby pebble as you throw it at the lit window. The small piece of earth makes contact to the pony made glass making a *tink* noise, but still no response. Time to take things into drastic measures. You reach into your pocket as you take out two picks, you pick the lock as you open it to find it empty and deserted. Where is shy? You thought as you walk around the empty black room, you slowly walk upstairs watching your step as you reach a small line of light, Derpy's room.

You slowly creak open the door as you saw the most horrific, embarrassing, and yet most exciting thing that you could never unsee ever again. What laid in front of you was Derpy Hooves, laying against her back as her legs were spread apart as she struggled to apply on socks. You both felt red as a steaming pot, you quickly place your hands over your eyes and slowly close the door leaving Derpy red as a rose. You calmly walk down stairs as you set you backpack near the couch as you faint from all three reactions on the couch.

Several hours had passed as you awoke from your tortures scene, you could still see it in your eyes as if it was glued there. You open your eyes to the sight of Derpy in front of your face, her eyes were still lopped but were in a sad way. "I'm sorry." Were the only words she spoke as you wrap your arms around her in acceptance.

"No, I'm sorry Derpy. I should've knocked before I got in. I should've told you sooner."

"Told me what?" She asks curiously as she breaks the hug between you two.

You look down as you gave a heavy sigh. "Sit down, it's a long story. And no matter what I tell you, I hope you could forgive me." You both sat down next to each other as Derpy places a wing on your back as she wrapped you in a blanket of comfort. "Derpy, I think it's time to tell you who I was..."
