	"I just don't see why you are going through this Twilight," Rainbow Dash said, looking at what Twilight was doing.
"I told you Rainbow Dash, I want to see if there are any other worlds besides ours," Twilight replied back a little exasperated.
Looking like she had stopped Rainbow's questioning, Twilight turned back to the latest project she was working on, the transuniversal telescope. So far she has had little success in her designs, but being the tenacious pony she is, Twilight would not stop until she had it right.
"What ever Twilight," Rainbow told her."I'm going to go practice for the Wonderbolt Academy." With that, Rainbow Dash turned and flew off to her secret training ground. Maybe I'll finally get some peace and quiet so I can work on this contraption now. Twilight thought to herself as she watched Rainbow Dash fly off. No sooner than when Twilight had finished thinking that, a familiar voice rang out from behind her.
"HEY TWILIGHT! HOW ARE YOU DOING!" 
Turning around she let out a little inward sigh. "Hey Pinkie, doing fine." There goes my peace and quiet... Twilight thought to herself.
"Are you still working on that thing?" Pinkie asked, tilting her head slightly.
"Yes, I am Pinkie, and I am very busy at the moment." Twilight told Pinkie as she lowered her head to get a better look at what she was working on.
"Oh.... do you need any help?" Pinkie asked.
"No, I'm ok. I think I have this under control right now." Twilight replied without lifting her head.
"Okie dokie lokie then! Bye Twilight! Hope you have fun with whatever that thing is anyway." Pinkie said, skipping away.
I'm glad that she doesn't hold grudges. Twilight thought.



Later that night, Twilight had a breakthrough. She quickly completed it and called her friends to come see it. Rainbow Dash was the first there, quickly followed by Apple Jack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and lastly Fluttershy. They stared at the new invention in silence for 2 minutes. AJ was the first to break the silence.
"So, uh, what does it do?" She asked quizzically.
Twilight, glad somepony finally asked, said, "It's a new telescope that not only lets me see into the stars, but into other worlds besides our own!"
"Sounds mighty fine in theory, sugar cube, but does it actually work?" AJ asked.
"Only one way to find out!" Twilight replied happily. She turned towards her invention and looked through it, trying to find a good place to look. While she was looking, an almost inaudible sound started to emanate from the machine. By the second, the sound started to get louder as Twilight was looking. AJ was the first to hear it.
"Ah, Twi? Do you hear that?" She asked.
Twilight, finally hearing it, yelled, "Everypony get down!" She jumped back as a blinding light enveloped the whole room.
