Endless awake in the infirmary. He wasn’t shore why he was there. Everything was a blur. He stood up and pull on the curtains. No pony was around. He try to remember what happen. The last thing he remember was Luna. She was told him something. Then it hit him like a ton of bricks.
“I’m going to be a father.” he smile as he thought about it. Then all sank in. He had never thought about being a parent. He really didn’t know how to be a father. He knew what his father was like. But he didn’t know. He started to paces the floor. What was he going to do? What if he was a bad as his father? Would it be a colt or filly? What if the Colt or filly didn’t like him? What was he going to do about his father? He couldn’t just let him run around. Doing evil things to other pony’s. There was a loud click. The door open.
“Ah. Your up. Good.” Twilight said walking in. He face her. His face was one of worry and dread.
“Princess Celestia and Luna were worry about you.” hearing that didn’t make him feel any better. He just felt like crawling up into a ball in some corner.
“How are you feeling?” She ask now seeing something was wrong. He let out a loud sigh.
“I just don’t know if I can do it.” he said. His face turning green. She look a little puzzled.
“Your worry about be a father?” He nodded. He felt like if he try to talk he throw up. Twilight smile.
“You don’t have to worry. We’ll all help. After all. Were your friends.” Endless Froze. His mind race. Friends. He really never thought of the girls as his friends. He know Celestia had made them his guardians in ponyville. Sweety Bell told him on his first in town. But Friends. He had made friends? Discord was only a fake friend. He know he needed help with his father. who better then the Spirit of chaos to help. His last friends he had were all gone. They pass on to the stars above. Luna was his only real friend remain. But was it true? Were they all friends? He put this out of his head. He was more censored with the idea of being a father.
“Thank. But I still don’t know what to do. It happening all so fast.” He said.
“Don’t worry. I have pally of books on parenting. You can go to the library and read them any time you need them.” He was still worry. But not about being a Parent. The thought about his father. He knew he needed to be stop. He Sigh.
“I need to see Celestia and Luna.” Twilight smile.
“Alright. Just follow me.” she said.
They want to the main thorn room. Endless heart was beating fast as they walk . He was worry that Celestia or Luna would say no. if they did. It would keep him in Canterlot until his child was older. He wasn’t leaving like his father. Not to mention. He wasn’t going to miss the birth of his first child. They Enter the Thorn room.
Celestia was sitting in her thorn. Luna at her side. He swallow the lump in his troth. He was more nerves then he ever been. He knew what he had to do. But was it the right thing to do?
“Endless. How are you feeling? Celestia said coldly. She seem to be mad at him. He could only think it was about Luna being pregnant.
“I’m good.” his troth was dry. It was hard to talk.
“That is good. Now what can I do for you?” she said without smiling. he took a deep breath and try to calm himself. He try to think of the right words.
“I would like you promise to go after my father.” Celestia rase and eyebrow.
“No.”
“But Why?”
“Luna is Pregnant with your child and you should be here with her.”
“But I can just let him run around doing what he pleases.” he argue.
“You will and you must.” She said.
“What?” he ask confuse.
“Your father has done nothing wrong. So you can do nothing. Until he does.” she told him in a stern voice. He sit there and try to think of something to say.
“Beside. You have a wedding to attention.” She said with a smile. He was confuse.
“Who wedding?” Luna laugh. Celestia stood up and walk down to him.
“Your Wedding.” He sat down. His heart stop. He turn green. He felt like he was going to faint again. He quickly shook his head. Then stood back up.
“I’m getting marry.” he said slowly. He smile. He had though about this. He had plan to ask Luna after his father problem’s was solve.
“Yes. Shadow foot could you come here?” Celestia yell. A large Red unicorn walk out. He had black marks all over his body.
“Yes Princess.” he said.
“This is the Colt I told you about.” she told him.
“So this is who I’ll be following around.” he said. Endless was confuse again.
“Following around?” he ask.
“Yes. Just incase you get cold hooves and try and run.” Celestia said with a wink. He was a little confuse. He would never run away.
“Don’t Worry Sister. I’m shore. That my future husband would never run off and go after his father.” Luna said with a wink. He was still confuse.
“Of course not. I love Luna and would never do anything to hurt her.” he told them. Both Luna and Celestia face hove. Twilight walk over and whisper in his ear.
“They saying you can go. Just sneak off. Shadow foot is going with you.” He Smile.
“Ok. I’ll just go get a suit for my wedding.” he said backing up.
“Don’t forget your bag my love.” Luna floated his bag through the air and place it on his back.
“Thank you my love. I’ll be back as soon as I can.” he said running for the door.
“Why do I have the feeling this is going to be harder then you told me.” Shadow foot said looking to Celestia.
“Well just don’t sat there. Get away him.” She said waving on.
He reach the edge of the town. Shadow was right behind him.
“Hey wait.” he call. He pick up his pace.
“I’ve got to stop my father.” he said.
“I know that. But do you know where he is?” He stop.
“Ah. No.” his face was red.
“Ok. Where did you last see your father.” Shadow ask.
“In ponyville 3 mouths ago. On my birthday.” he told him.
“Alright we’ll start there. But can we take the train? I don’t think running all the way there. Is a smart idea.” he ask.
“Ya. That be best.” He smile.

They walk off the train. Endless kiss the ground. Shadow mane was a mess.
“That a first time. I’ve ever. Saw any pony freak out from a party popper.” Shadow said. Still in shock.
“Sorry. I was surprise by it.” he said standing up. Shadow fix his mane.
“So. Were do we start?” he ask Endless.
“We were at the O.C. Corner bar. That were I last saw him.” he told him.
“Tracking him out of the question. But maybe some pony in town seen him.” he said as he took the lead. It was like he already knew the town.
They spent hours talking to different Pony’s. From sugar cube corner. To the beauty salon. But no pony had seen his father or Elma. But Endless had a feeling they wouldn’t. The sun was going down.
“It getting late. Let head to the inn.” Shadow said looking up at the sky.
“Don’t worry. I got a place we can go.” he told him.
“Maybe we’ll have better luck tomorrow.” he said.
As they walk the night sky glow with starlight. It was a moonless night. He watch as stars fell. A tear rolled down his face.
“Hey. Are you crying?” Shadow ask.
“I shad a tear for the fallen.” Shadow cocked his head to one side.
“Your one odd colt.” he said laughing. Endless smile.
“I’ll take That as a good thing.” They laugh.
