Rainbow Dash was awoken to the sun glaring directly into her eyes. she blinked a few times to get used to the sun's rays. she slapped her lips together, they were dry of sleep. she looked over to her wonderbolt's novelty alarm clock. she looked at the illuminous hands, the time read: 09:32. she groaned, and slipped back inside her blue sheets, trying to squeeze a few more minutes before she had to go to the weather factory. No matter how hard she tried, she just couldn't go back to sleep. she growled and got up. she felt the soft, warm cumulus clouds beneath her cyan hooves. She trotted over to her en-suite. picking up her toothbrush and putting toothpaste on her toothbrush. she quickly scrubbed her teeth before she went downstairs and had a look for something to eat, with her luck, found nothing except last nights' stir fry. she sat down on her enchanted wooden chair, picking up her fork and noncoherently muched away. after, she decided to go for a morning flight. She expanded her wings and took off. The wind rushing through her mane as her adrenaline rose slightly. She smiled as the wind ruffled her feathers and she did multiple barrel rolls and corkscrews before landing outside the Weather factory. She stepped inside.

She was greeted by many working pegasi, most were hovering or walking down the tall, narrow corridoors. She walked towards her boss' main office. She opened the door to a white coated pegasus with her blue and white streaked mane who had threw her mane up in a messy bun.
"Morning Merriweather." she greeted as she trotted over and sat down in one of the cusiony seats.
"Good morning Rainbow Dash." she replied. she looked up from her paperwork.
"What are my duties for today, ma'am?" she asked.
"You will be supervising the main courts along with Thunderlane and Flitter and then helping with the rest of the weather team with the scheduled storm at three o'clock. Then you are dismissed for the weekend."
"Thanks, ma'am." she nodded at flew of towards the main courts.

Rainbow flew toward the Main Courts, blanking everypony that had just greeted her, in the rendered distance, she spotted a murky grey stallion Pegasus reluctantly kicking away stray stratus clouds. She soon caught up to him and caught him completely off guard.
"Hey Thunderlane. Need a hoof?" she asked, easily kicking away a raincloud.
"Yeah, if you don't mind. Hey! you seen Flitter at all?" He asked, his cheeks tinting pink at the mention of her name.
Rainbow raised her eyebrow. "Why'd you ask?" She smiled slyly as she kicked a cumulus cloud.
His cheeks darkened. "N..no reason whatsoever! Just because...well... She's supposed to be helping us! Yeah! Thats it!" He blushed slightly more. biting his lower lip from embarassment.
"Awww... Does Fwunderlane love Fwitter?" Rainbow stuck out her lower lip and batted her eyelashes in a playful manner. She chuckled. "Don't worry. I wont say a word! Pinkie Promise!" She winked in his direction.
"Stop teasing Rainbow. Its not fair..." He muttered. Continuing bucking the clouds. Rainbow looked up to a slightly panting liliac pegasus.
"Sorry I'm late! i forgot to set my alarm again!" She smiled wryly, oblivious to Thunderlanes' flirtatious look. She flew to Rainbow.
"Need a helping hoof?" Flitter asked, before kicking a few clouds of her own.
"If ya want too." Rainbow shrugged, continuing her daily errand.

Rainbow collected her paycheck after a day of hard labour. Rainbow put the paycheck in her saddlebag. Before deciding to meet up with twilight for a little chat. Rainbow took off to the skies. Doing a series of barrel rolls and corkscrews before floating down on the stairs. She trotted up the steps to the door, She gingerly knocked and saw a relaxed Spike.
"Oh, hi Rainbow! Do you want me to get Twilight for you?" He smiled as he welcomed rainbow into the sweet smelling library.
"Thanks spike." She smiled back before walking over and plopping herself down on one of the lavender beanbags. Spike tiptoed upstairs.
Rainbow's magenta eyes scanned the series of books and old bookshelves. there were tall books, slim ones, fat ones and small ones of all different colors.
Rainbow was snapped back to reality by a lavender unicorn trotting down the creaky, oak steps.
"Good evening Rainbow! What brings you here?" She smiled as she sat down and poured herself and Rainbow some tea. Rainbow picked up the teacup and let the warm, bitter substance touch her tongue. she swallowed the liquid and crinkled up her nose before adding some more sugar.
"I just thought it would be nice if I visited one of my friends." she shook her head.
Twilight magically levitated the cup before putting it on her muzzle and taking a small sip. "Well I think it was a rather nice idea! Ooh! The new Daring Do came in the mail this morning. do you want to borrow it?" Twilight asked. Rainbow half heartedly smiled. "I'm still halfway in 'The Bottomless Pit Of Dreams.'" Rainbow added.
"Oh okay. I just got a stash of new books this morning and i haven't stopped reading them all day! it was a good time for you to come, otherwise I don't think i would have left my bedroom at all." She chuckled, Rainbow laughed along with her.
"Typical Twi'. Anyway, I have to get going. It was nice talking to you Twi!" she said before putting her saddlebags back on.
"You too Rainbow. See you later!" They both waved goodbye and separated ways.
