The wheel squeaked across the rails as they headed south-east. The ponies felt a bit uncomfortable. Standing while they were moving? They tried to place themselves on the dusty floor. 
FeatherTune watched the outside through a cracked window. The gray world past by slowly. SpinningNote made sure nothing was wrong with the generator.
The ponies that were the most uncomfortable were the two pegasi, ThunderCharm and DawnShy.  Really, it wasn't the train they were bothered about, it was the fact they were with these ponies. They had heard the fact that they all were now friends. The two mare's could only dream of a thing in the past. The change in the world actually brought them to their inspirations, role models, and even heroes. 
"Hopefully we aren't gone too long." FeatherTune said, still looking out the window.
"As long as hybrid's don't get in our base, we'll be fine." SpinningNote replied.
Suddenly, EchoBeat's head shot over to Spinning, with concerned eyes. 
"I doubt that." The unicorn told him.
EchoBeat tried to settle himself away from the thought. He looked out of a window also. He saw many old house that were abandoned. He knew that he'd be able to tell they were close to the city when more housed appeared. 
HyperBlitz looked over. "Hey, DawnShy, what ponies are actually there." 
The green pegasus glanced up, surprised and pleased that he said her name. " Lots of ponies! I met one of my other favorite music artists! He is so nice, LovingSong!" She told with a smile.
"Hmm... I've heard about him before." Hyper twisted his head. "Didn't he make the song 'Grenade' and uh..."
"It Will Rain', and 'Just the Way You Are'! Yep, those are his most popular songs!" DawnShy replied.
There was a little silence for a while. CharmingRhythm kept his eyes forward, through the windshield. Blazing kept the controls at a steady pace, and watch the engine carefully. 
Suddenly, Rhythm let out his voice. "What the hell is that?" 
HyperBlitz turned his head around. He looked through the window. A figure was placed on the track, far way. Hyper first guessed a hybrid, but as it came closer, he notice there was no metal parts. It was a pony for sure.
"Shit! There's a guy on the tracks!" CharmingRhythm shouted. 
All of the ponies jumped and panicked. They looked out the front window with fear. 
HyperBltiz smashed the cracked window with his hoof, busting it out. He poked his head out and screamed at the top of his lungs. "GET THE HELL OFF THE TRACKS!"
The pony was easy to make out now. A light purple stallion unicorn, with a crazy blonde mane. It seemed he was smiling. 
HyperBlitz screamed to the other ponies. "STOP THE TRAIN!"
"It would be too hard right now, not unless there are breaks on the track." Blazing exclaimed.
"Fuck."
Just as they thought they would hit the poor pony, they suddenly stopped. The ponies slammed into the control board, onto of each other. They loked up dizzily, and their vision was blue.... blue? The train was entirely engulfed with a blue aura. It was magic from the unicorn.
"Hi!!!" He shouted, waving his hoof.
"What are you doing?!" Hyper called to him.
"Wow, you have a train? Can I come on?" The unicorn said happily.
CharmingRhythm bent over and whispered in Hyper's ear. "I think he's hopelessly lost. We should let him come."
HyperBlitz grumbled with annoyance. He opened the side door. The outside was still blue as the pony came around. As soon as he leaped, the magic dissipated, and the train moved. 
The light purple unicorn's blonde mane was tipped with red. He had huge green eyes, and a orange cutie mark that was a marker and paper. He didn't match at all, not even his blue magic. He glanced at ThunderCharm.
"Oh hi ThunderCharm! Hey DawnShy. I didn't know you were on this train!" 
ThunderCharm backed up and put her head low.
"You know this pony!?" Hyper called out.
"Um..." She looked up in guilt.
"Yeah, we're friends! It just must be luck to find them!" The the unicorn stared at all of them. "Hey, Thunder, isn't this Linkin Pony? How did you get together with your favorite band! Is it just luck also?!"
"I...I guess..." She murmured. "Um... This is RandomSketch..." She told all of them. "He's one of those ponies whose name suits very well. You know how HyperBlitz is actually hyper, well, RandomSketch is... random  ."
The pony seemed a bit too happy. Maybe he was like this so he can make others happy. But surly he knew of the world.. He jumped over again. RandomSketch's eyes found EchoBeat.
"Oh hey, it's Filly Gaga!"
EchoBeat put his head low and his face lit up. He didn't say anything though. 
'RANDOM!" ThunderCharm snapped. "Stop with that joke! And this is real now, that's really EchoBeat! Don't be mean to him. He didn't do anything to you!" 
"Wow..." Hyper said, and rolled his eyes. 
"But she's so beautiful!" RandomSketch still joked. EchoBeat looked to the ground and whimpered.
DawnShy then slapped Random with her wing. "Shut up!" 
"Fine." RandomSketch muttered.
"Ooookay." CharmingRhythm said oddly.
He glanced back over to the front of the train. They would soon come to the city, and they would have to be prepared. How would the ponies there react when they see a train moving? Did they even think how they could use the energy like that?
