//------------------------------// // Part 35 // Story: Linkin Pony- Recharge // by Kaciekk //------------------------------// "C'mon, Echo." SpinningNote told EchoBeat. The red pony looked away from the computer. "Oh... right." He then jumped down and followed him into the meeting room. CharmingRhythm looked over the room; the ponies had gathered for a meeting. Echo sat on the right side of Rhythm, while Spinning was on the left. The stallions sat in their chairs while HeartFelt stood at the right side of the room. "So, we have some ideas." Rhythm started. "We can find energy easier," SpinningNote said. "And we might-" "Charge up a train!" HyperBlitz said quickly. "I was going to say that!" Spinning snapped. "You don't have to be so rude!" HeartFelt placed her hooves forward. "A train? I think I remember following some tracks up here.... from the city in the south." "Isn't that where we would want to go?" BlazingFlair spoke. "Yes, that was the plan." Rhythm stated. "Wouldn't we want some help from the ponies in the camp?" FeatherTune asked. "I know one pony knows that city." "But what will the ponies there think of us?" Spinning said. "We'll just have to see!" CharmingRhythm replied. "I'm sure that we will meet all sorts of ponies." BlazingFlair then began to speak faster. "There will be some ponies that might know us.... or not. There will be some fans, and haters. They might talk some shit about us and say we should of never came to their city. Others might like us, being nice. You know they might question a bunch, and I'm sure they will-" "Okay, we get the idea, Blazing" Rhythm waved his hoof. "I was just trying to make a point." Rhythm looked over. "Echo, do you think we can collect energy from the ground?" EchoBeat only nodded. There was some silence for a while. They all thought. Many different shades of brown eyes, and a pair of green eyes exchanged glances. The ponies didn't have much to say now. "Umm...are we going to talk about anything else?" FeatherTune said finally. "Well..... Really.... How are we going to do this?" HyperBlitz spoke. "I mean, travel, It can't be far of course, but we would probably be there for a few days." "If we find some ponies to help us." Rhythm retorted. "If anypony remembers us..." EchoBeat murmured softly. "I'm sure that there will be some ponies that know us!" BlazingFlair told him. "I'm sure there are many other ponies we know too.... Celebrities, since it's a big city, centered around entertainment." "Maybe..." Hyper didn't finish what he was about to say. "What?" Rhythm insisted. "I was think if we go there, and since it is centered around entertainment- Like Blazing said... We could possible play." CharmingRhythm paused. "We are going there so we can talk to them, and learn more. Music comes later... but that doesn't mean it's completely out of the picture." "Hopefully there is no hybrids there." FeatherTune muttered. "I think with the amount of ponies, that they could easily stop hybrids." Hyper said. BlazingFlair turned around. He watched the window, it seemed a few ponies were out from the camp. They probably were collecting things for supplies. Blazing wondered if any of them where the ponies they needed to speak to. "When will we get started?" Blazing asked, turning back around. "What will we need to bring.. even to get ready?" "Well, the energy detector, to find a good source of pure energy." CharmingRhythm said. "And probably a generator, to keep the energy in, and power up the train." "I want to bring my guitar!" Feather spoke aloud. "Just 'cause... I like my guitar. And what if we do play a song or two?" He smiled a bit. HeartFelt was quiet, and didn't speak much. She really didn't know what to say, how would she contribute to the group? She was still new to all of this. "Is there anything else we need to talk about?" Rhythm announced. "Is there any information that we can share?" Then the ponies stared at each other, and shook their heads. CharmingRhythm stepped down from his chair. Then the other did the same. "We can probably leave tomorrow. But we'll check with the camp ponies first." Rhythm told all of them "What if they want to come with us?" HyperBlitz mumbled, and dipped his head. Rhythm just stared at him. "There's nothing wrong with that. They might be help." HeartFelt then took a few steps towards Rhythm. "We can only go if the train will work right. What if it doesn't charge up?" The green mare worried. "I doubt that. It will be fine, but it might take awhile." Rhythm reassured her. HeartFelt sighed. She had a concerned and confused face. All the ponies had left the room but her, Rhythm and Hyper. "Are you okay?" Rhythm asked the mare. "It's just that... I don't feel I belong." She admitted. "What?" HyperBlitz spoke. "Of course you do. You're one of us!" HeartFelt shrugged. "I just really don't know how I'm supposed to help you guys." "You don't have to help right away." Rhythm said. "But any idea or facts you can give to us will help. That's how we work things around here." HeartFelt looked up a bit, and nodded.
