//------------------------------// // Chapter 1 // Story: You can never be sure. // by ARandomMLPFan //------------------------------// Queen Chrysalis lazily sat on her throne in the ever-darkness of her throne room. Oh, how she wish one of her Changelings would entertain her more, but they were all busy with the mission these past two days. A mission which she found quite amusing for her taste. A demonic smile wrapped around her muzzle as she looked up once again to find her prey. “Hello there Shining Armor.” Above the Queen were always just those annoying stalactites that constantly fell on the nice marble floor, creating quite a mess. But now, large globs of harden goop held from the ceiling, locking the upside-down unconscious Shining Armor in it’s grasp. Chrysalis smile grew ten times it’s size and let out a sigh of achievement. “Now Princess Cadence...” She said her name in disgust “.....You will see what’s it’s like to have your heart broken.” ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “Yes! We're finally here!” Princess Cadence and “Shining Armor” stood outside of a small cottage near the outskirts of the Froggy Bottom Bogg. The Princess’s officials pleaded with her that they should stay somewhere a lot more “safer” and “well guarded” like in Manehatten, Cloudsdale, Ponyville, and even back in Canterlot! But, both of the newlyweds while they were planning their wedding planned to come here. Nothing would distract them and it would be easier to have quality time with each other. Just pure bliss. The two newlyweds made sure they had all of their luggage before heading inside of the small cottage. The cottage itself was two stories and was painted in bright yellow, white, and blue, and was well made. The furniture in the main room was one sofa, a fireplace, a coffee table, and a gigantic bookcase along with some different artwork of Froggy Bottom Bogg hanging around the room. Of course in the corner of the large room was the kitchen with all the useful supplies ready, a bathroom, and a closet. Upstairs was a different story that Princess Cadence would like to keep a secret from her new “husband.” Princess Cadence smiled at “Shining Armor”, “I’m going to go into the bathroom to freshen up a bit before I prepare supper okay?” She planted a kiss on her “husband’s” cheek before walking off. “Shining Armor” as though he was called wasn't use to this type of affection from others. Throughout his life Chrysalis had shown none of the Changelings affection in no way possible ( it was rare to ever find her thanking anybody ). When he was born naturally his “parents” have already abandoned him, leaving him like the rest of the his newborn kind alone and learning about the horrible and wonderful natures of life by himself. For a small moment “Shining Armor” could feel his well done disguise glitch for a slight moment, revealing his true nature. A Changeling. Luckily, he didn't notice the small flaw and continued to undo some of the packing that would stay downstairs. Eagerness and fright went upon him as a thought crossed the little minions mind. “What if I fail this mission, what will become of me?” Personally he didn't know Princess Cadence all so well, the only information that he was giving was that his Queen despised the pony and that she was the Princess who deserved a lot of attention and affection from her new husband. Everything else would soon come to him once he started a conversation with her, the task was already successfully completed. The little Changelings already knew the Princess’s favorite food, flowers, seasons, colors, friends, family, even a glimpse of her past and he didn't have to even open his mouth once when they flew to this lovely cottage. So far the mission is succeeding greatly, the only thing that is left is that now making love with the Princess, after that do what he was born to do. To kill. “Alright it’s ready!” Princess Cadence shouted from the kitchen in a sing song voice, “Shining Armor” cringed but stared in amazement at the sight before him. “How long was I in thought for?!” Before “Shining Armor” was a masterpiece of different foods that were completely foreign to the little creature. Once of twice has he seen some mash potatoes, cupcakes, and some turkey. But everything else scared him greatly, it was a Changelings nature to be afraid of something they could not recognize or have been told about by Queen Chrysalis. Small candles were already lit in place and centered on the table while some rose petals dazzled perfectly between each plate. As a Changeling, food was limited and it was rare to find them eating, but they wouldn't dare to beg to their queen if they were wishing for tragic results to their internal organs. Princess Cadence giggled at the sight of her “husband’s” face, “I know it’s a little over the top, but I want this night to be memorable and perfect for us.” She giggled and gestured him to seat across from her. The meal went fine and eventful, as both of them shared laughs (rather fake one for the Changeling) and a decent meal. Half of the time, “Shining Armor” didn't eat at the food that was laid in front of him, but picked at it with his fork and ate bit by bit in hopes that his “wife” wouldn't notice his displeasure. Once both have finished eating, Cadence took the liberty to clean all of the dishes while “Shining Armor” took the rest of the luggage and began to trot his way upstairs. “Wait!” The Changeling cringed as he shifted his body toward the Princess who stared at her “husband” frightened. “Don’t go upstairs yet!” “Shining Armor” stares. “I mean...uh....I’ll unpack right now!” Princess Cadence quickly put the dishes she cleaned and used her magic to carry the luggage upstairs, leaving her “husband” to do finish the rest of the dishes he assumed. Fifteen long minutes past with the sounds of hooves of the Princess clopping down from upstairs, the sound of water running, and the dishes clattering against each other. “Your doing well, don’t mess up.” The Changeling told himself several times. A large crash was heard from upstairs that caused “Shining Armor” to jump, he quickly put down everything, grabbed a knife in case of an intruder, and dashed up the stairs and into the bedroom. He froze. In front of him brought the little Changeling something that he couldn't even explain. How the Princess who now was wearing only simple strings and lace around her genitals gave the Changeling an urge to come over to her and mate with her while she was down. Around the bedroom there were more rose petals scattered around the room, neat pink and blue sheets covered the queen-sized bed, and candles that were freshly lit off in the distance. The Princess had just fallen while she was trying on her lingerie. Princess Cadence looked up at her “husband” and smiled, “I’m not quite ready yet, you’re going to have to help me.” She gently smiled at him from her fallen position. Making love, mating, sex, whatever anypony called it the Changeling had very distant memories about the situation. All he remembered right before the real Shining Armor was captured was that making love was a series of physical activity that two lovers show to each other specifically on their wedding night, they both take off their clothes/accessories and proceed to give each other intense pleasure by becoming “one” over and over again. He would of have asked more questions to the queen while she explained to him his mission, but there wasn't enough time considering the two newlywed’s special dance was coming up and he was the one who was suppose to dance with her. “Shining Armor” crashed back into reality as he saw the Princess get up from her position in a...rather “sexy” sort of way. Her bare rear was facing the Changeling, causing him to develop more of this unknown desire. “Yes...that is what I am feeling, the feeling of lust. The feeling when my Queen wanted the Princess dead. The feeling when she wanted Shining Armor for her own.” Princess Cadence lowered her eyes and slowly trotted her way up to him, she dangerously stuffed her snout in the crook of the Changeling’s neck and proceeded to do the actions of sucking and licking. A hot, tingling senses reach to foreign parts of the Changeling’s body, parts that were rarely used until this day. “Shining Armor” swallowed down an escaped groan, he had to keep control of the “situation” and to not let himself burst all over the wooden floor. Cadence’s eyes returned back in front of the him, that’s when he notice something unique about her. In the Princess’s eyes was a universe. A universe of dazzling stars, orbiting planets, and utterly dark darkness. The Changeling could stare at them for hours, watching each object in her pupils change to a different position and still kept its beauty. His eyes grew wide as he soon found himself planting a kiss on his “wife’s” lips. A feeling, whole instead of emptiness grew in him like he never felt before in his life. The kiss suddenly broke, the knife the minion held had now crashed to the floor, and Princess Cadence’s body was being launched to a nearby wall along with a now sexually aroused Changeling was slowly grinding his pelvic area on her. “Shining...Armor!” A loud moan escaped from the Princess’s lips as he began to kiss him once again, except this time she allowed him to make this kiss more open mouthed. Keeping the mission under control now was becoming a lot harder than he expected because one, he had to deal with this lust controlling him. And two, a beautiful pony was standing in front of him that he... ...has now fallen for. It was a depressing thought to think that now the one that he desired was the one that he was going to have to rip away from reality once both of them reached their limit. He knew that if he didn't succeed his job, Queen Chrysalis would kill him on the spot, along with the Princess. The thought of him dying and ever her dying started to make him have tears well up in eyes. “Changelings don’t cry.....Changelings don’t cry...” Were the words that will forever ring in his mind when his Queen made him recite to himself thousands of times. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “Ha....Ha....Ha....ahhh!” A aroused scream pierced the bedroom atmosphere. the long period of the two making love had finally ended with arousal, leaving them in a sweaty heap on the bed. Cadence’s (below “Shining Armor” )) colorful hair was completely tangled, her body was trembling, tears running down her eyes from all of the pain, and her panting staying at a rough steady pace. “Shining Armor” had just reached his orgasm and releasing himself inside of her, giving him the best feeling of his life. Never before did the Changeling feel this sort of intriguing pleasure, his body was drenched like the one below him and waves of pleasure coursed through his body. Soon both of them laid on each other and rested for a brief moment, both bodies were pressed to each other, feeling both of their pacing heartbeats. All of the candles around them had gone out moments ago and the rose petals were crushed beneath them from the physical activity. “Shining Armor....” The Changeling looked down at her, fearing for the worst. “I love you so much.” Once again the little minion could do all those beautiful shining stars, those colorful orbiting planets, and the utterful darkness into the princess’s eyes. For once in his life, he feared for the worst for him and to whom was in his arms at the moment. The last step must be done now before his passion for her would become stronger and while she was down. “Shining Armor” got up from his position carefully, leaving Princess Cadence in her deep sleep. On the opposite side of the room the knife still laid on the wooden floor in the darkness. More trembling sadness overtook the little Changeling as he picked up the knife and slowly walked over his lover. Pointing the edge of the sharp knife down at the Princess’s heart, a glint of light had cast upon the knife from outside, beaming into Cadence’s eyes. Her eyes instantly shot open and looked up to find her so called “husband” pointing a knife right where her heart was located. “Shining....Armor.....?” “I’m sorry.” A raspy voice of the Changeling echoed through the room as he dug the knife into the princess’s chest. Changelings were never seen using the english language often, they used signs to communicate with the Queen and each other. But, in this special occasion he was used the english language, for her. As the knife plunged deeper into the pony’s chest, her screams grew louder, the more tears ran down the little Changeling’s face. “Oh the agony I will feel ‘till I die, I don’t think I would even bear it.” Through her tears filled eyes and crimson blurring her vision, she could see her husband plunging the safe knife into his own chest. The last cry echoed through the room, and both of bodies laid there dead. It was then at that particular moment that the Changeling’s disguise had disappeared, revealing his true nature. A Changeling. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A Changeling burst through the room with eagerness plastered upon his face. Door after after he passed ready to tell his Queen the exciting news. Guard after guard he addressed to tell the news, each giving the messenger and delightful smile of success for their empire. Finally the little Changeling was addressed with the large metal doors of the Queen’s throne room. He quickly crashed through the door and bowed before his queen with sweat dripping from his bony body. “...Was the job successful young Changeling?” Queen Chrysalis said while she poured her cup of tea with the magic through her horn. The Changeling nodded eagerly. Queen Chrysalis smiled as the thought of that Princess Cadence’s body still laying on the bed, entrails and blood covering the bed spread and seeping through the covers. Then a thought crossed her. “Wait a minute.” She put down the tea before she continued. “Were you the one who killed the Princess?” The Changeling shook his head “no.” “Then why are you here? Where is the one who killed her?!” The Changeling lifted his hoof and made it cross in front of his neck, showing that the little changeling who has “done the job” had killed himself. A moment of silence rang around the throne room, the little messenger waited impatiently for the Queen to reply. Soon....the demented Queen started laughing, a horrible cackle that replaced the ear bursting silence. A laugh that sent chills down the little Changeling’s spine. Once Chrysalis gained back her sanity, she smiled at the minion in front of her. “That little brat couldn’t take the heat! How cute....well the mission was successful and that’s all that matters.” The Changeling motioned her to the prince that hung motionlessly on the ceiling. “Oh him! Well...he’ll go with the rest! The rest who dared to deal with me! Queen Chrysalis!” Two Changelings entered the room with unusual tools the Queen had requested. Both the messenger and the Queen watched as the Changeling cut the real Shining Armor out of the goop (of course keeping some of the goo on him so he’ll stay put) and putting them in a small dispenser, similar to a trash can. The changelings and the Queen made their way down the endless hallway until they reached small locked metal door with the words Do not enter messily written on the door in red. After she retrieved and opened the door, the four of them walked in to reveal a dimly lit room full of ponies. The Element of Honesty, The Element of Kindness, The Element of Laughter, Element of Generosity, Element of Loyalty, Princess Celestia, and last but not least....that idiotic Element of Magic. All of those ponies were helplessly trapped in the same goo Shining Armor wore, all of their expression were forever going to be in that unnerving shocked state. A insane smile instantly splattered on Queen Chrysalis motioned to put the prince onto the stand in the corner of the room. “Now....” She turned to the three Changelings. “Check to make sure the others are doing well on their job.”
