Celestia VS Luna

Later That Night

Twilight awoke. The sound of crackling flames ringing in her ears. She got out of bed and left her room. She looked down both ends of the hall. There was no one. She walked to the end of the hall and headed down to the first floor. The lounge room was lit with only a couple table lamps. She entered the lounge, passing a mirror on the wall. She stopped when something caught her eye. She stood in front of the mirror and gasped. Her horn was back. She smiled and headed further into the lounge. She then slumped down in an arm chair and sighed.
"Twilight?" asked a voice.
Twilight looked over and saw a familiar face.
"Trixie?" asked Twilight.
Trixie took a couple steps forward. "What are you doing here?"
"I don't want to talk about it." said Twilight.
Trixie sat down an the chair across from Twilight.
"Something bad happened, didn't it?" asked Trixie.
"Trixie..." Twilight started. "I..." She paused. "Hang on. What are you doing here?"
"Me? Well..."
"Yeah." said Twilight, leaning forward a bit. "Last time I saw you, you were running for the hills. Now... you're here."
"Well..." said Trixie. "You see... I-it's... It's a long story."
"I have time." said Twilight. "Sort of."
"Well..." Trixie took a deep breath. "After my fallout in Ponyville I returned home. Here. Before I knew it, my fans dropped by, like, 80%. My pay rate dropped and I lost my house. Now I make just enough to get by living here."
"Wow." said Twilight, sympathetically. "That's terrible. I guess having bad things happen to us is one thing we have in common."
"Why? What happened to you?"
"One of our old enemies returned and corrupted Princess Luna. This resulted in Ponyville burning to the ground. Now we're on the run from Luna's dark forces."
"That. Is. Insane."
"Wanna help?" asked Twilight. "We sure could use you."
"Well, I... have been practicing my magic."
"So, it's settled, then?"
"I guess so."
"Great." said Twilight. "I'm off to bed. See you tomorrow."
Just then the front door opened.
"I am so... full." said Bon-Bon.
"Bon-Bon?" asked Twilight, meeting her at the front door. "It's really late."
"Well, I ate a lot, all right? I'm really depressed. I just found out my home burnt down."
"How 'bout I show you to your room?" offered Twilight.
"Sounds great." said Bon-Bon, stumbling and hitting the wall.
"Why don't I help you?"
"That sounds great, too."
