The Prime Enforcer's deathly wail amounted to nothing more than an inneffectual ring between the thick metal walls of Roarke's cockpit. A hiss of cold air billowed through the vessel as her cables dragged the wounded, unconscious body of Rainbow Dash into her hold.
The metal mare glanced back, her mane of ringlets jingling as she glanced at the limp pegasus.
After a few seconds, she smirked and returned to her elaborate console full of glowing crystal diodes.
"Hmphh..." She brought a hoof up to a lever and accelerated the aircraft, rocketing the slender manaship deep south, following the path of the Sapphire Ravine. "Payoff's never been that much sweeter."
