Chapter 3
Sweet Apple Acres Farm House
The Next Day
Chris and Mark were just getting up for another great day when Applejack came in the room.
"Oh I was just coming to wake you two up." She said.
Chris and Mark looked at Applejack and smiled at her.
"Well I hope you're not to disapointed of us waking up instead of you waking us up." Said Mark with a wink.
Applejack then went into a very deep shade of red.
"I uh well, oh it's time for breakfast so when you two are ready just come on downstirs."
"Ok thanks Applejack." Said Chris.
As soon as Applejack left the room Mark looked at Chris with a worried look on his face.
"What is it Mark?" Asked Chris.
"You look worried for some reason."
"Well Chris I think it's time to tell the ponies about us, about who we truly are, and where we truly come from." Said Mark.
Chris then jumped at what his brother just said.
"Are you nuts Mark?" Asked Chris.
"Don't you know what will happen if we tell them about us?"
"Well yes but Chris."
"But nothing Mark." Chris interrupted.
"We promised Luna and ourselves, and we're gonna keep it that way."
*Sigh* "Alright Chris you win." Said Mark
"Alright now enough talking about this and let's go have ourselves a nice breakfast." Said Chris running toward the door.
"Hey Chris that's not fair." Said Mark running after his brother at the door and down the stairs.
"Man I tell ya Big Mac you sure are a good cook." Said Chris.
"Why thank you Chris." Said Big Mac with a smile on his face.
Then Applejack got up from the table.
"Hey Applejack where are you going?" Asked Mark.
Applejack turned to Mark.
"Oh me well, me and the other ponies are going to see Twilight for something important." She said.
"I think it would be best if we come along too Applejack. we don't want those two ponies to get you." Said Chris worringly.
"Oh don't worry about me Chris if I see those two ponies i'll just buck them into next year. She said with a smile on her face.
And then they all just laughed.
"Ok Applejack but please be careful." Said Mark.
Applejack noded and left the house, then just as soon as Applejack left the house Big Mac turned to the two alicorns.
"I think you two should follow her just in case if those two ponies see her."
"I was thinking the same thing Big Mac." Said Mark.
"Well what are we waiting for Mark? Let's go." Said Chris.
Without waisting another second Chris and Mark secretly followed Applejack to Twilight's house.
Ponyville Library
10 minutes later
As Applejack came to the door of Twilight's house Chris and Mark hid behind a tree.
"Ok Chris we followed Applejack now let's go back to the farm." Said Mark.
"No Mark." He said.
"What why?"
"I want to see what's so important that we can't be told about."
As soon as he said that the door opened and Chris and Mark saw Twilight at the door. Also in the house they saw Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Spike, Princess Celestia, and to their shock they also saw Princess Luna there as well.
"Why is Luna there?" Asked Mark.
"I don't know Mark." Said Chris.
"Do you think they know about us and that's why Luna's there?"
"I don't know Chris." Said Mark.
"Well I'm going to find out." Said Chris.
As soon as the door of the library closed Chris came up to the door and put his ear on it so he could hear what they were saying.
"I think we should go back to the farm Chris." Said Mark.
But Chris just put his hoof on Mark's lips.
"Shh quiet Mark their talking."
"Everypony my sister has somethng to tell us." Said Celestia.
"Well come on Luna what is it?" Asked Fluttershy.
"Well it's about Chris and Mark." Said Luna.
"Ha I knew it. They are here to cause harm to us and all of Ponyville." Said Rainbow Dash.
"Settle down surgarcube." Said Applejack.
"Is this true Princess?" She asked.
"No Applejack the're not here to cause us harm or anyone else." Said Luna.
"To tell you ponies the truth the're not alicorns at all, the're actually humans."
"The're humans?" Asked Pinkie Pie.
"Yes." Said Luna.
"Why couldn't they just tell us?" Asked Twilight.
"Cause they wanted to fit in and...."
"What about their parents? Did they lie about that too?" Asked Rainbow Dash interuppting Luna.
"Rainbow Dash that's not a nice thing to say." Said Fluttershy.
"Well I'm sorry but how do we know that they...."
Just then they heard the door swing open and the ponies, Spike, and the princesses turned around and there stood Chris and Mark.
"Uh oh this is not good." Said Rarity quietly.
As the ponies, Spike, and the princesses looked at the two alicorns Mark looked at them with a sad look on his face while Chris' face was the look of anger and betrayl. Then Chris turned to the princess of the night.
"How could you Luna? How could you brake our promise?"
"Please Chris try to undersand." Said Luna.
"Oh I undersand perfectly and I think I know why you had to tell them." Said Chris as he pointed at Twilight as his eyes filled with rage and sadness.
"Twilight asked Spike to write a letter to Princess Celestia about us and after she read that letter she asked you about us and then you broke down and told her."
"HAVE I LEFT ANYTHING OUT?!" Shouted Chris.
"Brother please calme down." Said Mark.
"No Mark I won't calme down. Now we have to leave and I just can't go back to our foster perents, I just can't."
"Chris listen your not...."
"No you listen Luna, all of you listen." Said Chris with tears flowing freely out of his eyes.
"Ever since me and my brother were 10 years old we have been tortured by our foster perents and now when we finaly get a chance to escape the tortures of them by coming here we were happy that our dream of seeing you ponies had come true. But now, but now your telling us to leave? Well that's fine and you know what Twilight?" Chris asked looking at the purple unicorn with rage in his eyes.
"I thought we could've had something Twilight. You know ever since I bumped into you that evening and after we kissed that night I started to love you more and today I was going to ask you to be my girlfriend or in this case my marefriend. But i guess it's not gonna happen because I'm done with you, I'm done with all of you.
And with that Chris turned around and ran off towards the everfree forest.
"Well that could've gone better." Said Spike.
"Oh Spikey Wikey!!" Said Rarity puting a hoof on her face.
Mark looked at Spike and Rarity then he looked back at where Chris ran off to.
"Chris wait!!" Said Mark as he was turning around getting ready to go after his brother.
Just then Twilight stopped him.
"Hold on there Mark." She said putting a hoof on Mark's shoulder.
"Let me go after him please."
Mark turned to Twilight.
"But he hates you now. Do you know what will happen if you..."
Before he could finish Twilight put a hoof on his lips.
"I know Mark what will happen." Said Twilight.
"But I love him and I think I can make him come back. So please Mark let me do it."
Mark looked at the direction that Chris went and then he looked back to Twilight then he noded in agreement. With that Twilight galloped towards the everfree forest after Chris. After Twilight left Applejack walked up right next to Mark.
"Come on surgarcube I think the time has come for you to tell us the truth about your parents."
*Sigh* "Ok Applejack." Said Mark then he looked at Celestia.
"Are you really going to take us back to our foster parents Princess Celestia?"
Celestia looked at Mark and smiled.
"No Mark we are not going to take you two back to your foster parents."
Mark smiled and began telling everypony the truth about their foster parents.
Everfree forest
30 minutes Later
Twilight found Chris standing at the edge of the everfree forest with his hooves on his face.
"Um Chris are you ok?" She asked as she came up to him putting a hoof on his shoulder.
"What are you doing here? Have you caused enough pain in my heart already?" Asked Chris.
Twilight sat right beside Chris.
"Chris please let me at least speak. You don't have to talk to me but just please hear me out ok?"
Chris looked at Twilight.
*Sigh* "Alright Twilight I'm listening." He said wiping a tear from his eye.
"The Princess was not gonna take you and Mark back home to your foster parents we just wanted you two to tell us the truth. So please Chris tell me all about your parents and what really happened to them please?"
Chris looked down on the ground.
*Sigh* "Twilight?" He began.
"The story that me and Mark told you and the others two days ago was the truth except how our parents died. You see me and Mark were at a babysitter's house while our parents were coming back from a high school reunion to get us until a drunk driver hit their car. After that we were sent to a foster care center and I saw the accident on the news our dad went through the cars windsheild while our mother got impaled by a two by four which the truck was carrying and then well you know the rest."
After that Chris started to cry. Twilight then came up to him and gave him a hug and she suddenly started to cry as well.
"Oh Chris I'm so sorry that happened to you and Mark, I'm so very sorry. Said Twilight with tears flowing freely out of her eyes.
"It...it's alright don't be sorry for me Twilight you probably hate me for what I said back at the library anyway."
Twilight looked at Chris in disbelief like it was some kind of sick joke.
"What do you mean Chris? I don't hate you."
Chris' eyes shot wide opened and looked up at Twilight.
"You....you don't?" He asked.
"No Chris you were just upset that's all and I know you didn't really mean all of that stuff you said."
"R....really?"
"Really, I love you Chris Thunder and I will always be with you no matter what."

Twilight took Chris by the hoof then said.
"Come on Chris let's go back to the others."
"Ok let's go Twilight." said Chris With a smile on his face.
Just as soon as they turned around and about to head back to the library a beam of green energy struck Twilight in the back.
"AHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Cried Twilight in pain."
*Gasp* "Twilight are you alright?!" Asked Chris running up to her.
"Y...yes I'll be fine Chris." Said Twilight as she struggled to her hooves.
"Alright come on out you coward you hurt Twilight now you have to face me!!!" Said Chris looking around the everfree forest.
Then a strange pony with green hair, green eyes, and black fur stepped out of the shadows.
*Gasp* "You, your the queen of the changelings, Queen Chrysalis."
Chrysalis was surprised that Chris knew her name.
"Hmm well I'm surprised that you know who I am you silly alicorn." She hissed.
"So tell me young alicorn how did you know my name?"
"It doesn't matter how I know your name you witch."
"A witch am I now? HA i've got to hand it to you young one you've got spunk."
Look I'm just gonna say this just once leave me and Twilight alone and you won't get hurt." Said Chris.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA that's a good one young alicorn!!!!" Laughed Chrysalis.
"But I'm not here for you I'm just here for that fool right behind you Twilight Sparkle."
Twilight looked at Chrysalis.
"Me what do you want with me?" she asked
"I want revenge you fool, revenge for what you did to me.
Chris stood as tall as ever infront of Twilight and glared at Chrysalis.
"Well if you want Twilight you'll have to go through me to do so." Said Chris.
"Hmmm very well you fool feel my fury." Said Chrysalis.
With that Chrysalis then raised up her horn and fired a beam of green energy towards Chris.
"Chris watch it!!" Said Twilight.
Chris saw the beam coming and quickly moved out of the way before the beam could hit him. Chrysalis continued to fire the beam of energy out of her horn but Chris kept on dodging them."
"GRRRRR. Hold still so I can hit you, you worm." snarled Chrysalis.
"HA HA yeah right your just too slow!" Said Chris laughing.
"Alright Chris take her out!" cheered Twilight.
"SILENCE YOU FOOL!!!!" Shouted Chrysalis as she fired the beam of green energy towards Twilight."
"TWILIGHT LOOK OUT!!!!" yelled Chris.
Chris pushed Twilight out of the way in time but couldn't move away from the beam of green energy in tme as it hit him on the right side of his body.
*Gasp* "CHRIS NO!!!!" Shouted Twilight as she ran to his side.
"Oh Chris are you alright?"
Chris opened his eyes and looked at Twilight.
"T....Twilight....r....run Twilight." Said Chris weakly.
Twilight looked up and saw Chrysalis hovering above her and Chris.
"I wouldn't advise that you fool. But if you come with me I promise to spare his life." Said Chrysalis.
Twilight looked at Chris then she looked back at Chrysalis.
"You promise to spare his life if I come with you?"
"Yes I promise." Said Chrysalis.
*Sigh* "Alright Chrysalis I'll go with you just please don't hurt him anymore." Said Twilight with her head hung low.
Chrysalis came up to Twilight, then she put a hoof on her mane and rubbed it.
"HA that's a good girl!" She said with an evil grin on her face.
Just then Chrysalis lowerd her horn towards Twilight's front hooves. As she did so shackles appeard and bound themselves onto Twilight's front hooves. Then Chrysalis went to Twilight's back hooves and lowerd her horn as she did so another pair of shackles appeard and bound her back hooves.
"And to make sure you don't use magic on me." She said as she put a dark spell on Twilight's horn.
"Now the only way that the spell can be broken is if somepony destroys me or if I take it off myself HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" Said Chrysalis with an evil chuckle.
"Now come my slave it's time to leave."
"Wait can I at leaste say goodbye to Chris first?" Asked Twilight.
*Sigh* "Fine but be quick girl." Chrysalis huffed.
Twilight walk towards Chris as her shackles were clinking and clanking on the ground.
"I'm so sorry Chris, I love you." Said Twilight sadly
With that she kissed him on the lips then she looked back up at Chrysalis.
"Ok I'm ready to go mistress." Said Twilight with a tear in her eye.
"Hmmmm Mistress? I like the sound of that." Said Chrysalis with a evil smile on her face.
Just then Chris slowly got up and watch as Twilight went into a carriage with Chrysalis by her side. Then Chris saw Chrysalis turning to him and give him some kind of map to a castle.
"Now listen here boy if you want to see your marefriend again come to the Starlight Castle alone. If you don't she dies." She said.
And with that the carriage lifted off the ground and took off. As soon as they flew off to the castle Chris picked up the map and then he spread his wings and started to fly off after them.
("Hold on Twilight I'm coming.") He said to himself.
Just then he felt the pain where the green energy beam had hit him started to flair up again. Then he started to fall out of the sky. The last thing he saw before he passed out was somepony coming towards him.
Starlight Castle
One hour Later
As the Starlight Castle came into view Chrysalis looked down at Twilight.
"Now slave when we land you follow me to my throne room and we will get started on your punishment for what you have done to me."
Twilight then looked up and glared at Chrysalis.
"When Chris comes to get me he's going to....."
Just then Chrysalis raised her hoof and slapped Twilight knocking her over almost out of the carriage.
"Now you listen here fool you will talk when I say you can talk and as for your alicorn boyfriend if he dose come I'm going to kill him and i'll have you as my slave forever HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" She Laughed.
Twilight lowered her head looking at nothing except for the shackies on the front and the back of her hooves. As the carriage landed at the Starlight Castle Chrysalis got out then she looked at Twilight.
"Come slave it's time."
Twilight got up with the sound of her restraints clanging on the floor.
"Yes mistress." She said sadly.
As they were walking Chrysalis looked at Twilight once more.
"Ever since your brother and Princess Cadence banished me I came across this abandoned castle. Then It occured to me if I want a castle of my own then why not this one? So me and my changelings fixed it up and it's pretty nice if I do say so myself. Don't you think so slave?"
Twilight looked up at Chryalis.
"Yes mistress it is nice." Said Twilight still sad and hoping Chris was alright.
Just then Twilight was snaped out of her thoughts when they got to Chrysalis' room. When Chrysalis and Twilight went into the room Chrysalis levitated Twilight towards the middle of the room. Just then chains came out from the ground and lashed on to the shackies on Twilight's back hooves. Then more chains came down from the ceiling and lashed on to the sackles on Twilight's front hooves.
"There now." Said Chrysalis."
"Are you ready for your treatment slave?" She Asked as she levitated a whip from behind her throne and was ready to put it across Twilight's back.
Twilight struggled to get free but to no of avail.
"P....please don't do this to me mistress please I beg you!" Twilight said with fear in her eyes.
"SILENCE FOOL!!!!" Shouted Chrysails as she put the whip onto Twilight's back.
*HATSCH*
"AHHHHHH!!!!" Twilight screamed in agony.
The force of the whip was so strong that it broke Twilight's skin and blood started to fall from the open wound onto the cold hard floor. Twilight was breathing heavily and her heart was racing.
"YOU TOOK AWAY MY LIFE YOU NO GOOD MISS GOODY TWO SHOES!!!!" Said Chrysails as she continue to whip Twilight.
*HATSCH*
"AHHHHHH!!!!" She screamed.
Twilight looked at Chrysails with forgivness in her eyes.
"P....please n....no more." Twilight said trying not to loose consciousness.
"I TOLD YOU NOT TO SPEACK UNLESS SPOKEN TO!!!! Shouted Chrysails.
Then Twilight felt the whip hit her back once again.
*HATSCH*
"AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"
"YOUR NOTHING BUT A WORM!!!"
*HATSCH*
"AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"
"A BRAT!!!!"
*HATSCH*
"AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"
"OH CURSE YOU TWILIGHT SPARKLE YOU NO GOOD LITTLE WRETCH!!!!"
*HATSCH*
"AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"
Again and again Chrysails continued to whip Twilight until she saw that Twilight suddenly lost consciousness by the amount of slashes by the whip that Chrysails slashed on her back made and by the amount of blood that was dripping down from her back to the cold hard floor.
"Humph weak fool." Said Chrysails as she put the whip away and then she went to fetch a maid to clean up Twilight's blood from the floor and to bandage her up.
Everfree forest
one hour later
Chris woke up with a start and looked around.
"Hey where am I?"
"You're in my hut young alicorn." Said a voice.
Chris turned around and saw a zebra like medicine women right next to him.
"My name is Zecora." She said.
"What's yours young one?"
"It's Chris."
Just then there was a knock at the door.
"I'll be right back Chris you just stay here." Said Zecora as she went and opened the door.
At the doors entrance there standing there was Applejack and Chris' brother Mark.
"Well hi Applejack. What brings you and your new friend here?"
"We are looking for Twilight and my brother Chris." Said Mark.
"Have you seen them?"
"Well I haven't seen Twilight but Chris is here laying on my bed he got hit by some kind of energy beam by the mark on his side."
"WHAT?!" Asked Applejack and Mark together.
Zecora showed the wounded alicorn laying on her bed.
"Oh hay you two." Said Chris.
"Chris are you ok? What in tarnations happen to you?" Asked Applejack.
"I...it was, it was Queen Chrysails." He said weakly
"QUEEN CHRYSAILS?!" Asked Applejack, Mark, and Zecora together.
"You mean the Queen of the changelings?" Asked Applejack.
"Yes she was the one who did this to me." Said Chris.
"Please tell us brother. What happen to Twilight?" Asked Mark.
"Well we were at the entrance to the everfree forest talking and when we were getting ready to come back to the library She struck Twilight with her magic, I tried my best to stop her from taking Twilight but to no avail. As she aimed another beam towards her, I knocked Twilight out of the way and well thats when the beam hit me on my side. Instead of killing me Chrysails had left Twilight with a decision if she went with her she would spare my life. So she went with Chrysails, I tried to go after them but well the pain from my injury was too great and then I past out and then I woke up here."
Chris put his head under Zecora's pillow.
"I'm so sorry guys I don't deserve a mare like her, I just don't."
"Now that is just ridiculous brother." Said Mark.
"You are the best pony that Twilight could ever ask for."
"Mark is right and with our help we can get twilight back." Said Applejack.
Chris then looked up at them and just shook his head.
"I'm sorry guys but if you go with me she will kill Twilight."
"What are you serious brother?" Asked Mark.
"Yes Mark it's true."
"Well I think I can help out with that problem." Said Zecora.
"Really how Zecora?" Asked Applejack.
"Well I just finished an invisability potion just yesterday and if you and Mark drink it you can follow Chris without raising alarm to the changelings and the queen."
"That's a good idea Zecora." Said Mark.
"Alright then tomorrow we all will go to the castle and save Twilight from the queen." Said Chris as he laid back down and slep back to sleep.
Starlight Castle
Later that night
Twilight awoken by a sharp pain on her back and she started to look around and saw that she was still chained up.
"Oh I'm sorry did I hurt you?" Asked a vioce.
Twilight looked down and saw a pale yellow pony with a curly mane staring right back at her. Twilight knew exactly who the pale yellow pony was.
"C....Carrot T....Top i....is that, is that y....you?" She asked still weak from the beating she received from Queen Chrysails.
"Yes it's me Twilight." Said Carrot Top.
Twilight then noticed a collar on Carrot Top's neck.
"Carrot Top what's that thing on your neck?"
"Oh this coller is, well if I disapoint Queen Chrysails then she can shock me with it by using her magic." Said Carrot Top sadly.
"Thats terrible Carrot Top. How could she do such a thing to you?" Twilight asked.
"I don't know Twilight, I just don't know."
Carrot Top started to cry.
"Oh don't cry Carrot Top." Said Tiwlight.
"Everything will be fine I promise you."
Carrot Top looked up at Twilight with a smile on her face.
"Thanks Twilight that means a lot to me." She said wiping a tear from her eye.
"So Carrot Top why exactly are you here?" Twilight asked
"I was sent here by the queen to patch you up." She said as she put the last bit of bandages on Twilight's wounds.
"Well that's not what I meant Carrot Top."
"Oh then what did you mean Twilight?" She asked.
"I was wondering how you got to be in this castle?"
"Oh I rather not talk about it Twilight." said Carrot Top.
"It's ok Carrot Top I understand." said Twilight.
"What about you how did you get here Twilight?" Carrot Top asked.
"Oh well I was talking to my special somepony at the entrance to the everfree forest until Queen Chrysails came. He tried to stop her but he got hurt from rescuing me from Chrysails energy beam and she said if I didn't come with her she would have killed him. I guess you can see what choice I made." Said Twilight with tears flowing down her cheek.
Carrot Top then came up to Twilight and hugged her.
"I'm so sorry Twilight that this had to happed to you."
"It's ok Carrot Top I know in my heart that he will come for me I just know he will." She said with a smile on her face.
Then Twilight felt the last bandage being put on her back and she sighed with relife.
"Oh man I feel much better now." She said.
"How did you learn first aid anyway Carrot Top?"
"Oh I learnd first aid when I was just a little filly Twilight." Carrot Top explained.
As Carrot Top finished patching up Twilight's scarred back and cleaned up the blood on the floor she got up and was ready to leave.
"Well I best be going now before Queen Chrysails gets angry at me."
"Alright Carrot Top please take good care of yourself. Said Twilight.
"Don't worry I will Twilight, I will." Said Carrot Top and with that she left leaving Twilight alone in the throne room.
After Carrot Top left the room Twilight then went happly to sleep still chained up as she thought of Chris, Mark, and her friends.
