Nighttime at Sweet Apple Acres, and inside the farmhouse, Applejack is in her room brushing her loose blond mane, thinking about the day and getting ready for bed. Suddenly, she hears the sound of something tapping at her bedroom window, she turns around to see the figure of a pegasus stallion floating outside the window.
"Soarin?" quietly said a bemused Applejack to herself. She walks over to the window and opens it to reveal that it is indeed Soarin outside her window. "What in tarnation are yo' doin' here?" quietly asked the mare, trying not to wake her family who have just fallen asleep.
"Well, since your the only one of Dash's friends I personally know, I've decided to come here to tell you that we, the Wonderbolts, are considering your friend to be an offical member." explained a nervous Soarin, keeping his voice quiet since it is late.
"Yo' came here just so yo' can tell me that?" said a suspicious Applejack, knowing there's a hidden reason to why the pegasus stallion is floating outside her window.
"And to tell you that Dash gets a little flirty when drunk." nervously grinned Soarin, blushing.
"Well, she does do some weird thin's when drunk." commented Applejack. "But why is yo' here?" demanded the farmer mare.
"Because it has been a month since I last talked to you and I wanted to see how you're doing." admitted Soarin with nervous grin on his face. "And you look beautiful with your mane like that."
Applejack realizes that he's commenting on her loose, hatless, blond mane, and blushes at the compliment. She quickly shakes her head to get herself focused again. "That's mighty nice of yo', but it is gittin' late an' ah need t'wake up early t'do mah chores an' have a get together with mah friends, but thanks fo' th' compliment." explained Applejack.
"Listen, me and the rest of the Wonderbolts are going to be holding a small demonstration show in Cloudsdale to see how well Dash fits with the group, and it would mean a lot to her if you and her friends can come to watch, I'll make sure you get the VIP seats and backstage passes." offered Soarin.
"If it's fo' Dash, I'll definatly be there." responded Applejack with a smile on her face.
"Great!" exclaimed Soarin with a smile. "I'll get going now, expect the tickets and passes to be delivered by mail, bye!" and with that, Soarin flies off into the night sky, leaving a flustered Applejack behind.
"Where have yo' been all mah life?" mumbled Applejack to herself, she then closes her bedroom window and gets ready for bed.
The next day...
"WOOWHO! FLUTTERSHY'S BACK!" yelled and excited Pinkie Pie, bouncing along with her friends. She is being followed by Rarity, Applejack, Twilight and her coltfriend Time Turner, and Rainbow Dash, wearing her sunglasses due to fact that she's slightly hungover from last night.
"Why must you be so loud!" groaned Dash, Pinkie's antics making her headache worse.
"Says the mare who went overboard with the alcohol last night." smirked Time Turner. Dash just gives him a dirty look.
At the same time, both Rarity and Applejack are talking. "So darling, where's Big Mac?" asked Rarity.
"Doin' his chores on th' farm," explained Applejack. "besides, they already spent some time together yestday."
The group finally reaches Fluttershy's cottage and are invited inside by a cheerfull Fluttershy. "Oh, I'm so glad you can all make it, come in!"
The group are lead into the living room and they each take their seats. "I'm glad you're back in Ponyville, things haven't been the same since you left." stated a gratefull Twilight, her friends and Time Turner agree.
"Thanks, I'm just so sorry that I left all of a sudden, but I needed to face my problems if I wanted my relationship with Big Mac to work out." humbily explained Fluttershy.
"Don't sweat it Shy, we're just glad that you faced those problems head on and that you're back, and just in time too watch my first show with the Wonderbolts next week." stated Dash.
"Thanks, but the one I should be thanking the most is Time Turner...if he dosen't mind of course." explained Fluttershy. "For being very good and kind with the animals."
"Well...I wouldn't say i'm THAT good with animals." nervously explained Turner, trying to be humble. Twilight just playfull jabs him on the side.
"Nonsense, the animals loved you and you knew how to treat them right." grinned Twilight.
Time Turner was about to say something else, but is immediatly enveloped into a hug from Fluttershy. Turner just blushes from the show of affection. "T-thanks?" was all Turner was able to nervously say. The rest of the group just laughs at the sight.
At the farm, Big Mac is finishing fixing the fence, he would love to be with Fluttershy and her friends, but he's been putting this task off for weeks and wants to get this over with so he can spend more time with her. After finishing the fence, he puts his tools away in the toolbox and is about to walk off back to the tool shed until he sees Cherilee walk pass along the pathway on the other side of the fence.
"Oh hey Big Mac, how's the day going?" asked a cheerfull Cherilee, enjoying a nice autumn trot in the countryside.
"Great Miss Cherilee, Fluttershy's back!" answered a smiling Big Mac, wanting word of his marefriends return to spread around Ponyville.
"She's back? After six months?" said a surprised Cherilee, a piece of her soul died upon hearing Fluttershy's name.
"Eeyup." nodded the red stallion.
"Oh...that's nice...to hear." said Cherilee, hurting on the inside, but putting a cheerful face on the outside. "The town was starting to worry about her."
"Ah know." agreed Big Mac.
Cherilee has trouble coming up with something else to say, and decides it's best for her to leave, before her cheerfull facade cracks. "Well, I have to get going now, I have papers to grade and stuff...bye Mac!" said the purple mare, trotting away.
"Eeyup." agreed Big Mac, his way of saying "I understand, goodbye!"
At Fluttershy's cottage, Fluttershy, her friends and Time Turner are having fun, talking, gossping, catching up Fluttershy on everything that happend in the last six months and eating some snacks that Fluttershy prepared. In the living room, Twilight levitates a drinking glass and fork, and taps the fork on the glass, catching her friends and coltfriend's attention.
"Now that I have your attention, last night, upon hearing the Fluttershy came back, me and my coltfriend Time Turner have been talking and we've finally set a date for our wedding!" announced Twilight to the group.
"That's great! When is it?" asked Rarity, the question haunting her mind since hearing news of Twilight's engagement.
"It will be held this upcoming spring at the Royal Palace in Canterlot." answered Time Turner, joining Twilight's side. "Princess Celestia will be officiating the wedding."
"Wow, that's awsome!" exclaimed Dash.
"And I would love for the five of you to be my bridesmaids." announced Twilight.
Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie just give an excited squeal upon hearing that they're bridesmaids. "This is the BEST! THING! EVER!" exclaimed an excited Rarity.
"OH COOL! A WEDDING! I LOVE WEDDINGS!" yelled an excited Pinkie Pie.
Suddenly, Rarity comes up Twilight and wraps her in a hug. "My sweet innocent Twilight is all grown up!" said a dramatic Rarity. Twilight just nervously smiles and goes along with the hug.
In Canterlot, Princess Celestia is finshing up her paperwork for the day, before she goes off to lower the sun. Suddenly, the door to her office slams open to reveal her sister Luna marching in. "Is it true sister?" announced Luna.
"What?" asked Celestia, not having a clue at what she's talking about.
"Is it true that Twilight is getting married?" clearified Luna.
"Yes, it's true," admitted Celestia. "By this upcoming spring, Twilight and her coltfriend Time Turner, will get married in the royal ballroom and my student will fulfill her destiny."
"Destiny?" asked a confused Luna, not knowing what Celestia has in store.
"It will all be revealed soon sis." cryptically answered Celestia. Luna is still confused.
Back in Fluttershy's cottage, Fluttershy is busy cleaning the living room of the mess her friends and Time Turner left behind, they just left for home an hour ago and Fluttershy is kind of glad to have her home be quiet. The silence is interrupted however by the sound of someone knocking on the door. Fluttershy walks up to the door and opens it up to see Big Mac carrying a picnic basket in his mouth.
"Oh...Big Mac, come in." said Fluttershy, leading Big Mac inside. The red stallion just walks into the living room and places the basket on the coffee table.
"Ah thought we could share some applepie together." explained Big Mac, taking out a fresh applepie from the basket and placing it on the table.
"That's perfect, I'd love to!" quietly exclaims Fluttershy taking a seat next to Big Mac on the couch, slightly nervous from being so close to her coltfriend.
They both eat the pie together in near silence, but greatly enjoying the company, until Big Mac speaks up. "Ah was thinkin', when ah get a day off sometime, we should go out on a date together, what do yo' think?" proposed the stallion.
Fluttershy just smiles, thinking the same thing. "That would be perfect!" exclaimes the pegasus mare. "Also, Twilight and Time Turner are getting married this spring and I would greatly appreciate it if you come...if you don't mind of course."
"Well, if yer gonna be there, then I'll be there." stated Big Mac. Fluttershy just smiles and envelops him into a hug, "I love you so much Mackie." whispered Fluttershy into his ear. "I love you too sugarcube." whispered Big Mac back.
They stay that way, cuddling together on the coach for several minutes, until Big Mac looks at the time. "Sorry, but ah have t'go home now, mah sister is gettin' worried." explained a reluctant Big Mac, not wanting this moment to end.
"That's okay, sorry if I kept your sis--" explained Fluttershy, before being interrupted by a passionate kiss from Big Mac. Fluttershy is stunned and once the kiss finishes, all the pegasus mare was able to say is a loud "Eep."
"No need t'apologize sugarcube." was all Big Mac says with a smile as he takes the basket and pie tin, and walks out the door.
Fluttershy just sits in the couch, stunned and her wings fully extended. Then a smile creeps on her face. "YES!" she yells into the ceiling with excitement.
In another part of Ponyville, Cherilee is in her home, sitting by herself in the living room, drinking herself halfblind. "What does HE see in HER!" spat an angry and drunk Cherilee to herself. She is looking at a framed photo of her and Big Mac together that was taken a long time ago when they dated. "I'll show him, I'll show him how an expirenced mare handles her stallion, because what he needs is a REAL mare, not some timid and cowardly mare who has no expirence in love!" she continues. "I'll make him see that he's making a HUGE mistake in leaving me for HER!"
She then throws the glass of hard cider she's drink on the floor, shattering it, before passing out.
