Letters to the Guard

Letters to the Guard
Sunday, March 7

Captain,

My sister is gone. She. Is. Gone. I don’t know where you get off calling yourselves guards if a simple rainstorm can’t keep us safe! What’s wrong with you? She’s gone! She’s gone, and it’s your fault! You better find her, you had better find her or so help me…

Please… please, just find her. I’m so scared. Please… the kids need her at the school. I need her around here. Ponyville needs her! I’m scared for her. She shouldn’t have gone out. She shouldn’t have… please find her.

Captain,

I think I saw something. I don’t know what it was, but it looked like… bats. I couldn’t see in the rain, but it looked like the bats were surrounding somepony. I couldn’t see the face. In fact, I could hardly see the color. I swear up and down it was Carrot Top. What could compel her to go out in such a storm, I don’t know. But… when the bats flew away, nopony was there. I don’t know what kind of trickery this is, but Princess Sparkle needs to know.

Hoped I helped.

Captain,

I went out to check on Hugh Jelly, a patient of mine, during a pause in the storm. When I reached his home, however, he was gone. I don’t know if this is odd coincidence, but I’m hearing things around town, things about some ponies going missing. Now, Hugh and I have a strictly business relationship, but I can’t help but be concerned with his absence. If you could please look into that, I would appreciate it.

Many thanks,

-Colegate
