Guard training grounds


Celestia prepared for everything for the sparring match  She had Shining Armor put up a shield, had one up herself in case it wasn't enough (though Shining is a bit better at shield projection than her), and...

That's it, really.

Tsunami went to the stands, and started munching on a bag of popcorn.

Two of the heroes were in the arena usually reserved for many short sparring matches between guards.

One was Omniblade, standing tall (or at least as tall as he can... Terrarians are not human sized, they are barely taller than Twilight/the average pony), holding his Legendary Excalibur.

The other was Daemon, who was... setting down a music box. He then rigged it to a pressure plate and armed himself with his adamantine sword (Godly prefix, for those who want specifics).

Shining shouted for the match to begin, Daemon stepped on the plate, and the two charged towards eachother.

The music was the boss music.

They both jumped to the air before their swords collided, in which they pretty much bounced off of eachother's blows. Dasmon pulled out his Superior Adamantine Glaive and swung it towards Omniblade, who got caught in it because he dodged to the side rather than upwards. The two then took to the skies and assaulted eachother again with their blades. Omniblade parried one of the blows and capitalized on this advantage by going on the offensive. Daemon was blocking the blows, but he had barely enough room to breathe, let alone think, despite being in the sky, with how close Omniblade was getting.

"Dude, back off." Daemon told his opponent. Omniblade was not letting up.

"Back off!" Daemon yelled at him. He was not letting up.

Daemon parried one of the strikes and buried his blade in Omniblade's chest. "BACK." He brought his arm back, had his Pwnhammer appear out of hammerspace into his hand, "OFF!" He swung his arm and spiked Omniblade to the ground, and followed suit with his Glaive, pinning Omniblade to the ground.

"I do not like people in my bubble!" Daemon shouted as he brought his Pwnhammer down onto Omniblade one more time and he exploded into many little bits... Then he flew out the window from his room and said "GOOD MATCH! NO IDEA YOU HAD THAT IN YOU!"

Daemon shouted back "I NEED SPACE!"

Tsunami and SkySummon were in the arena now, and when shining announced the start, a hail of bullets and stars started going everywhere. Luna raised an extra layer, seeing that the other two were actually struggling trying to keep their shields up.

Nopony (or the other two Terrarians) could even see what was going on, as Tsunami had some grenades on hand and Sky had a hallowed repeater with holy arrows. After a few minutes, all that reained on field was a battered Tsunami drinking a greater healing potion, and a gooey mess that one would assume used to be Sky.

Sky came out the window grumbling about a cheap shot.
