You wake up and stare at the gray ceiling. You stretch and yawn a bit. Luna is still on her bed, fast asleep. You slowly get up and brush the dust off your wings, you didn't bother to be silent about it either. If Luna woke up and got mad you'd probably have no problem taking her. You could probably just bend her tiara into a dagger and drive it into her brain, just like that.
But, since you don't want to live with the corpse of the princess of the night, you decide to silently walk around and explore. There's still a couple of tunnels, you decide not to enter them, for fear of the unknown. Maybe Luna kept tentacle rape monsters in there?
Hey, it could happen.
Dare to dream.
So, you decide to be smart and leave it alone. Instead you sit on the floor and wait for Luna to wake up and perhaps give you SOMETHING to do on this barren wasteland.
Preferably in bed.
Hey, colts have needs.
You sit on the floor, just thinking. You weren't uncomfortable, the floor was just like a sheet of fine sand. Soft, smooth and makes you want to bury yourself alive. You were just bored. On Equestria you would sigh in annoyance whenever someone gave you work (*cough*Celestia*cough*). Now you were bored out of your mind. You had absolutely NOTHING to do. Literally. There was nopony else to prank or disturb.
So you made a little moonsand drawing.
You drew a picture of Luna in the sand, occasionally taking glances at the princess of the night. You even wrote a little text at the bottom that said: "Why can't I have you?".
You decide to write that on for the fun of it, you didn't really have a full blown crush on the mare, but you've gotta admit, she is one FINE looking mare.
"Thou are awake?" Luna says as she rises from her bed
"Mornin'." You say
"'Tis no morning here." Luna says
"You know what I mean."
"I'm afraid I do not."
Luna hops off the bed and lands right on your little doodle. Actually it was just your text. When Luna walks away, the text read: " ha you?"
You sigh and get off your butt.
"So alicorn princess, envy of little girls everywhere, what would you like to do today?"
"Shut thy mouth. Thou will not be doing anything, I have business to attend to."
"You're lying."
"How does thee know?"
"I didn't. I just assumed."
Luna just growled and turned to exit the cave. You follow her even though she didn't tell you to. So, like a little puppy dog, you follow the moon mare around.
For the duration of time you were following Luna, she seemed to do nothing except look here and there until she finally stopped at a cave.
It was the very same one that you had slept in.
You had just walked around the moon.
"Luna, did we just walk around the moon." You ask
"Yes."
"But WHY?!"
"Can thou think of anything better to do?"
"Yes. But I'm pretty sure you wouldn't like it."
Luna simply rolls her eyes and ignores you.
"Are you sure you don't want to hear it out?"
"Thou are not going to get intimate with me. Not now and not until the day I die."
"I was just suggesting that we build like, moonsand castles or something."
Luna blushes and gives you an angry frown.
"Luna, you have dirty thoughts." You say
"Thou best keep silent." Luna says
"Okay okay."
Luna enters the cave, you follow and close the boulder behind you. Luna proceeds to sit on her bed and stargaze. You sit next to her bed and stargaze with her. It was basically just a black sheet with white lights. What's so fun about that? But Luna was watching it like it was a Marecheal Jackson concert.
"Tell me Whiplash, don't thee think you're treated unfairly sometimes?" Luna mutters
"Kinda." You reply
"Thou are nothing but a minor god. Higher than a mortal, but lower than a full fledged god."
"I mean, I don't want to end up on the radar of everypony else. So I don't really care."
"How can thou be so positive? Thou are just as powerful as Celestia herself yet thou are not treated the same."
"Just fake it."
"Fake it?" Luna asks
"If somepony is strong enough to bring you down, show them that you're strong enough to-"
"Get back up?"
"I was about to say murder them and their family, but that works too."
Luna stifles a little giggle. And you realize that this is the first time you've ever heard her laugh. Maybe she's finally snapped, whatever the reason, you were glad that the goddess of the moon didn't hate your guts. Or show any kind of emotion besides anger. She continues staring at the stars, but you however take a glance sideways and look at Luna. She looks stunning.
You catch yourself staring at her for waaaay too long. You turn your gaze away and find your face a little hot.
"Um, uh. I'm just gonna take a nap now."
"Okay."
You lay down by the side of Luna's bed and curl up to go to sleep, you had just woken up, but you took afternoon naps all the time so, you had no problem falling asleep. The fact that Luna was behaving strangely was unsettling, but you managed to fall asleep anyways thinking that it was just from being stuck on the moon for too long.
How little did you know that it was the start of something MUCH worse.
