Chapter 5 – The Truth
Later at the same day, after Rainbow Dash tried to grab some sleep,
she went into the Spa where Rarity and Fluttershy often where.
As soon she entered it, she saw both.
"Rainbow Dash, darling we are over here." winked Rarity over to Rainbow Dash. "Oh..hello Rainbow Dash." whispered Fluttershy.
"Yeah well, no time. Fluttershy could you come with me a short while,
it's very important." said Rainbow Dash nervous.
"Could..you..might wait a bit, please?" asked Fluttershy.
"It's about Shadow, you ahve to help me, quick!" shouted Rainbow Dash out.
"I know how much do you like him, ok...gave me 5 minutes."
"I'll be waiting outside." said Rainbow Dash.
Fluttershy took some time, but she was ready to help Rainbow Dash.
"And..uhm..how can I help you then?"
"You have to fly above the Everfree Forest and search for something
irregular."
"Oh, my...I-I can't do this."
"Please Fluttershy, you are my only hope." begged Rainbow Dash.
"ok..then." said Fluttershy shy.
When Fluttershy flow above the Everfree Forest she that giant impect frome
the last time.
"Rainbow, I think I see somepony." shouted Fluttershy out.
"Really?! Is that pony grey?!"
"I think so."
Rainbow Dash gasped and hoped hardly that it was Shadow.
"Where is he? Asked Rainbow Dash.
"Some minutes ago he was laying here....I'm sorry." said Fluttershy.
"It's not your fault, and thanks for your help." answered Rainbow Dash.
"If you want you can go now...thanks for everything."
"I hope you find him."
At the same time in Twilight laboratory.
*woosh* A bright light showed up and Twilight was back in her laboratory.
But something was different, she had somepony with her, it was Shadow.
"Spike, get the others her, NOW!" shouted she at her companion.
"Now, lets see where do you got that power to escape frome the Asylum
and defeating Discord."
Twilight casted a spell on Shadow so he couldn't break free or even do a single
move. Also she cast an magic field around him, so magic woudn't work either.
"Wha..What is going on here? Why is this all happening to me?" asked Shadow a bit lost. "Hello, Shadow." said Twilight.
"Who are you now?"
"She's just an insane mare nothing else, nopony would miss her."
"Who's talking there?" asked Shadow again.
"It's me, your dark side, he he he."
"Hey stay with me, Shadow. Hello Shadow." Twilight stood up and trow
Shadow water in his face. "Don't collaps again, you hear me?"
"NO, please don't kill me, I-I..." Shadows voice became very sobbing.
"I won't kill you, I'm here to help you." said Twilight.
"You are one of those six who want to kill me!" shouted Shadow out.
"We are totaly different, you were corrupted by Discord.
Also he gave you another I, i think you met him yet."
"Is-is that true?" asked Shadow slowly.
"Yes, and I got no reason to lie to you. If you want I can heal you from that
personality."
"You-you can?" "No she's trying to trick you. We are friends, look"
The dark side showed him some memories about him and Rainbow Dash.
"What is this ?"
"What is what?" asked Twilight Shadow.
"It's...that cyan mare, and me as a filly..."
"Oh no...Don't listen to him, he's lying." warned Twilight him.
Twilight casted a spell to look in his mind, and was afraid what she saw.
His dark side would tell him soon the truth about Rainbow Dash and him,
then he wouldn't belive somepony anymore.
Twilight casted quick an shocking spell.
"ARRGHHH! Why....why do you do that? Asked Shadow angrily.
"He's going to convince you,if I didn't had done this you wouldn't be
yourselfe anymore. So listen quick, I can't help you, you have to fight with
him in your mind. When you win he's destroyed, but if you loose, well you'll
dead." said she icely.
Shadow took a deep breath and began to get in his mind, where his dark
side waited for him.
"I see you have choose your side, what are going to do now?" asked his dark side.
His dark side popped out some windows and showed him his hidden memories.
They were all about him, his mother, father and...Rainbow Dash.
He also showed him some fake memories from the Everfree Forest.
Some memories about murdering Rainbow Dash, Twilight, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Fluttershy.
"Stop it, stop it, STOP IT!" shouted Shadow out.
From Twilight sight, he was screaming and begging.
"I can only hope he's going to win."
"What's wrong can't watch these? There are sooooo beautiful, and that blood,
yummy." said his dark side with an dark smiling.
"Where could Shadow be...." asked Rainbow Dash herselfe.
"Rainbow Dash!" shouted and familiar voice out, it was Applejack.
"We found Shadow. He's now in Twilight laboratory."
"REALLY?! Thank you so much." said Rainbow happy.
"No time for thanking each other, Shadow is in a bad condition, come on'." said Applejack.
As soon they arrived, they heard some really painful screams from the
basement. Both pony stepped directly inside the library and headed down
to the laboratory. As Rainbow Dash jumped through the door, she saw her
brother under all that circumstances. "Twilight, what are you doing?
Why do you locked him up in that...in that jail-thing!?" screamed she out.
"Listen to me. He's got a splitted personality, he has to fight his dark side."
"And whats the point? Can't you just erased it with your magic or some sort of that?" asked she.
"I wish I could, but he has to do it in this way or his dark side will kill him
instantly." explained Twilight.
"His....dark...side...would do WHAT?!"
"Not directly, his true selfe would be killed and his dark side fit in his body."
explained she Rainbow Dash.
"What does that means, all this stuff about the dark side?" asked Rainbow Dash.
"Well, as Discord corrupted him, Discord gave him the ability of using magic, like he does. The only problem about this was that your brother didn't got a paw to snipp it like Discord to use magic. Which means that Discord made him into an Draconequus and tried to controll him. You brother broke both spells, but
by breaking the controll spell, Discords and Shadows pure evil turned into that
side." explained Twilight.
"I see, how long does he have to fight with him?"
"It could be like only 5 minutes or might half an year, sorry."
Rainbow Dash walked slowly over to Shadow, she set next to him down.
"Hey Shadow, it's me Rainbow Dash."
"Huh? Who's that?"
"It's that stupid mare who tried to kill you." answered his dark side.
"I know that you can hear me so, I have something to tell you."
Shadows dark side gasped, he knew that she was going to tell him the
truth about him and her. The dark side got quick controll over Shadows lips.
"Shut up! He's mine, and after I killed him you're next!"
"Please listen to me Shadow....." she took again an deep breath.
"I'm your sister..."said she calm.
Shadow gasped and couldn't trust what he just heard.
"Yes, she's your sister, but you never going to see her again!" shouted his dark side out.
"I will stay, untill you beat this, whatever it is." loughed she under tears.
"Time to let you suffer a bit, until I finish you off." said his dark side.
Shadows dark side teleported him into an familiar nightmare.
Rainbow Dash was laying on a metal table, tied up.
He saw that he was standing next to her, between them there was a
small table where some sharp knifes and scalpes lay.
"No, I don't want to do this!" shouted Shadow out.
He tried to dissforce the pressure of taking one of those sharp scalpes, but
failed. His dark side let him pick up one, walked over to his sister.
"Please stop, don't do it!" was Shadow shouting out again, but this time
he said it in the reality too, so Rainbow Dash heared it too.
"What is he doing Shadow, please answer me!" begged Rainbow Dash.
Shadows dark side forced him to torture his own sister.
It wasn't real after all, but for him it felt like it was real.
He shouted it again and again: "No, please stop it!"
The only thing that happened was that his dark side was showing
him how he selfe tortured and less killed everypony in ponyville.
After each kill he saw his dark side sadisticly smiled and loughed.
