Elma wake early in the morning. The sun was just coming up. She gather her thing and headed out. She wanted to get to the library. She try to fine out what she could about Night. She didn’t want to uses his back up plan. But if all else fails. She have to do it. She ran down the street heading for the castle.
“Do you even know were your going?” she stop and face hove. She look around and saw a blue unicorn in armor.
“excuse me. Can you tell me were the library is?” she ask.
“You just head up this way and turn right at the statue of Celestia. It will be on your left.” he said point the away she was coming from. she thank him and head for the library.
The library was huge. There was large stone pillars boarder in the building and two large wooden doors.
“wow this place is huge.” she said looking at it.
“Let get going.” she said head for the doors.
“Nun may pass.” A large green Pegasus step in front of her. He block her way into the library.
“But I need to get in. You don’t understand.” she said with tears in her eyes. The Guard look down at her. She was at his hooves and look up at him sadly.
“Sorry miss only those with a pass are aloud.” she made her eyes bigger and look sadder. The Guard swallow a lump in his throat.
“Please.” she saying it really long. The Guard look around.
“No.”
“Hello. That unicorn in Ponyville gave you a pass.” Night said. she face hove again.
“I forgot I had this.” she said pulling out the pass.
she wipe her eyes and stood up. she walking pass and heading in.
“Nice.” Night said see the library.
“Wow. I bet that Unicorn in ponyville would flip out if she seen this.” She said looking up at the towering shelf’s.
“Can I help you?” A white Pegasus as from behind a large desk.
she walk up to her. There was a large name plate that read. Miss Page.
“Yes. I’m look for books on a pony from 1000 years ago.” she said.
“Ok. let me just get my glasses and we’ll see if I can help you.” she said wiping her glasses. She turn around and pull a large draw out.
“Now do you know the name of the pony your looking for?” she ask.
“Yes. It a colt name Night.” she said.
“Aa. Yes. You’ll find book’s on him in sector 7. Blue row. Shelf 5. On the top. They should be red books.” she said pulling a card out.
“So how do I get there from here?” she ask looking down the rows.
“You head down this way. Until reach sector 5. Then make a right. Walk all the way down to the shelf’s color green. Then go left. You’ll see a large sign that said sector six. Don’t go in that sector. Go left from the door way. Continue down that row and you’ll see a sign that said sector 7. Follow the way the arrow pointing and you’ll find Sector 7.” she said putting the card back and sitting back in her chair. Elma thank her and set off.

“5 hours.” Night said as they walk.
“We’ve been lost in here for 5 hours.” he continue.
“ Just stop Night. We’re close now.” she said pointing at signs.
“That what you said an hour ago. Why can you just amide your lost?” he ask.
“ I’m not lost. See.” she said pointing another sign.
“Sector 6. So did she said to go through sector 6 or not to.” She said putting he hove to her chin and sitting down.
“ she said to go left of the doorway and to keep going until we find the sign pointing to sector 7.” she did as Night said.
“There the sign!” she said running up to it. It was in the shape of an arrow. It was pointing down the rows.
“Thank the stars. Now lets get down there and find the book’s.”
“let get moving.” she said running down the hall. she stop and look up above door. SECTOR 7.
“Ok. now witch shelf is it on?” she ask.
“I can’t remember.” he said as she walk in.
“Was it red shelf’s and blue book’s? Or was it green shelf’s and red book’s?” she said walking slowly. She look up and down rows at all the different colors. It made her eyes hurt. She sat down and rub her eyes and then put her hove to her chin. She close her eyes and thought back. She was normal good at remembering what pony told her something. But she was drawing a blank.
“I guess we just start looking and find it sooner or later.” she said giving up on remembering.
She walk down the first row. Looking at the book’s names as she went. But nothing on Night. She move to the next row. It was blue. She look at a set of book with the words Legend of Endless Night. Printed in Black letters and border in green. She floated them down and stack them. She open the first one and started reading.
There was plenty about his life and how he help end the dragon war. she close the first book and lead on the shelf behind her.
“Any of that sound familiar?” she ask Night as she look into the air.
“some of it. Other part of it. hard to grasps it. But I thing we’re on the right path.” she move the next book onto her lap and open it. This one was on his notes and different magic spell he develop when he was training with Master Zend. She continue and saw a lot of basic spells that most unicorn use today.
“I’m impress. If this is you.” she said closing the book and moving onto the next on.
“I remember training with master Zend. But that it.” he said.
“You said it yourself. Try remembering everything from 1000 years ago. And trust me. It not easy.” She started to read the book. This one was about his time in Canterlot.
“what is that supposed to mean?” he ask.
“Maybe one day I’ll tell you. But for now I like to get through this book.” she said flipping the pages.

“ It the last book.” he said as she floated the last book over.
“Let just pray that this one tells us were to go to next.” she said letting out a loud sigh.
“I hope so. Seven hours of reading is not what I call fun.” he said as she open the book. As she continue to read. It was clear that this book was telling the last few days of the dragon war. It started with princess Celestia asking the wizard Endless Night to head to a large dragon mine. His goal was to free any capture pony there.
He left early in the morning and flew to a camp. He met up with the royal guard there. After a few days of scouting. A unknown explosion happen at the mine. The royal guard and Endless Night move onto the mine after this.
she stop and rub her eyes.
“You ok?” he ask as she close her eyes.
“It just they jump from Endless Night being in battle. To him being in a cage in the middle of the royal guard camp.” she said rubbing her eyes again.
“I wish I could help. But I can’t remember any of it.” he said.
“It ok. Let just see what else the book has to tell us.” she said turning to the next page. The battle continue as a wizard name Red Will free Endless Night from the cage. The battle brook as a large dragon name Darth charge out of the mine. He was angry and madly look for Endless Night.
Endless Night battle Darth even tho he was in a weaken state. As the battle comments. Darth Curses took full effect. He transform in the air. After that he disappear. Endless Night return to the camp and talk with Red Will and Another Unicorn with a white main. Endless Night then caste a spell that drain the energy from a tree. Then Endless Night, Red Will and Unicorn with a white main put they horns together and teleported.
“That was a forbidden spell. To drain energy from anything for yourself.” Night said.
“Your remembering things?” she ask.
“A Little. We landed in canterlot after that. Then the dragon attack and broke the shield spell. They beg us for help. Darth then attack. Darth then turn the Unicorn with the white main different colors. but that it.”
“That just great.” she said flipping a page back and forward.
“What?” Night ask.
“There a few pages missing. One second Endless Night is heading for the castle. The next Princess Luna is asking Master Zend for help.” she grumble
“There still and ending and that all we need.” he said
“ Your Right. I was just getting into the story.” she said flipping to the next page.
Princess Luna Requested Master Zend to Canterlot. Princess Luna and Celestia order him to cure Endless Night Aliment. But Master Zend told them that it was a matter of time for the magic to were off.
He did manage to cure Endless Night long enough for a good bye message to Princess Luna. Little is know about the what was said. But some said that Endless Night and Princess Luna had some special bond. That is the end of our tail. It my not be a happy ending. But Endless Night ended the Dragon war and made many spells that all Unicorn study to this day.
“That it. We got nothing to go on.” she said as she started to close the book.
“WAIT!” he yell. she stop closing the book.
“What?” she ask.
“On the inside of the back cover. I know him.” she open the book and look at it. There was a family picture and something wrote under it.
I would like to thank all the those who has taken the time to read Legend of Endless Night. My great grand father Shining Star would tell me story about him. I wrote the Legend of Endless Night in his memory.
Note this book is not fact. All the info comes from letter from royal guard. Those who were there and story from my great grand father. I wish I could have gotten Princess Luna or Celestia to tell me anything about Endless Night. But they could not be reach to for questioning.
“That It!” she put her hooves to her ears. As Night yell.
“Ow. What It?” she ask.
“Princess Luna. She Know were I am.” he said
“Are you nuts.” she said in shock.
“Look we know that Endless Night was the only pony, who was Name Night a 1000's years ago. So I am Endless Night.” he said.
“You Remember that your Endless Night?” she ask in shock.
“I do. Now let go talk to Princess Luna.” she sat there in shock.
“How do you think I’m going to do that? Walk up and say. Hello My name is Elma Corn and I would like to know were your hiding Endless Night.” she said acting it out.
“Well not like that. But maybe I could remember something. You know. To prove you got me in your head.” he said.
“Like what?” she said flipping her hove in the air.
“I don’t know. Let me think about it.” Night said growing silent. she look at the mess she made. She sigh and started to put the books back on the shelf. She didn’t like to leave a mess for others.
“I got it. It something only me and her would know.” he said breaking the silent.
“That good. What did you come up with.” what
“Hay Bail.” he said with a little laugh.
“What so funny?” She ask as she walk back to the main entrance.
“It an inside joke.” he said still laughing. she rolled her eyes and continue to walk. A happy feeling fill her. Knowing that they were one step closer to finding Endless Night body.
She be even happier if she could find her out of the library. She look up a sign. It read sector 27.
“I HATE THIS PLACE!” she yell.
“Shhh quiet in the library.” she Face hove as the Liberation flew down. A hove in front of her mouth.
