Luna looked at the green and blue sphere, Earth, oh how much she missed Earth. She had been on this dull planet for so long, the Moon.She had lost count over the years of how long she had been here. Everyonce and a while she could do something amazing or see something amazing, but mostly it was just her and the rocks.
She looked at Earth again and it made her think of Celestia, Celestia.. Celestia, Her pink mane. Celestia had a bright pink mane, all Luna had was dull manes that no one understood or loved, one of her manes was the stary night sky, the other was a dreadful dull short light blue mane, both her manes were horrifying. Celestia was white, it matched her perfuct pink mane, Luna's coat was a dark blue, and like her manes, it was dull too. Celestia had bright light purple eyes, they were so angel like, Luna had light blue eyes. Celestia was so colorful, as Luna was, Dull and boring. Luna was all blue, exept her cutie mark, which was just a dark blue and a white moon, but it was still dull and boring, while Celestia had a wonderful sun on her flank.
Everyone Adored Celestia's sky, the day and the sun. Luna controlled the stars, the night sky, and many other things, although the other stars were actually suns, Luna still controlled them since they were part of the night. Everyone enjoyed the sunset and the sunrise, most the sunrise, for they saw the wonderful colors the sun made, little did they know Luna's moon helped make those too, but nopony cared.
Luna began to wonder what Celestia was doing right know, proboly basking in her subjects love. Luna wanted to be loved, even the smallest hug or I think your night sky is beautiful, even if it was once Luna would be sastified. Even changelings, those cursed creatures were givin more love then Luna ever had in a lifetime.
Luna did remember the days when her mom and Celestia would all snuggle with her, but those days were so many years ago if not centurys. Luna had tears in her eyes, but she did not cry, no, she had promised her self many years ago that she would not cry for them. She then stood up, unfolded her wings and looked at Earth, remembering it all.

Celestia looked up towards the moon, the moon she had banished her little sister too. She had felt guilt and regret and still does, but she maneged to convince a part of her it wasn't all her fault. "You had to do it to save your kingdom!" she had told herself over and over again, eventually beliving it, but she still felt regret.
She had remembered how Luna's eyes used to sparkle, how she always smiled, and how her laughter could be heard over a mile away, but... it vanished over time slowly. Celestia knew she should have payed more attention to where Luna's eyes seemed dull, how she seemed to always wear a frown, and how no laughter could be heard from her. Celestia remembered when at late at night or so she would hear mufflled weeping, she didn't know what it was and didn't have much intrest in it back then, but she now knew that was Luna, Luna had been crying everynight, and Celestia didn't do anything to help. Celestia felt like a monster.
She looked up at the moon, if you looked carefully you could see The Mare in the Moon, there was a old legend, a old fable that was told about how there were two princess, one felt unloved for no one would apperciate her wonderful night, so she became Nightmare Moon, but had eventually been defeated by her sister, Celestia, who had used the Elements of Harmony on her own sister, her own flesh and blood, and banished her to the moon, the legend said on the 1000 year of when she had been banished, the stars would help there Mistress escape her prision and return to Equestira. Little did the other ponies know, this was a true story.

Celestia looked up the moon one more time. Luna looked down to Earth. "I'm.... sorry," they both whispered as if they were talking to each other again. A tear went down there eyes as they said that. Luna tried to hold back the tears that she kept in so long but she failed, they came bursting out, " Thou Sister, Won't thy forgive we?" she said between sobs. "Please forgive thy... please!" she said again between her sobs that she could not control.
She soon began to stop crying but started to hiccup from all her crying. "Don't worry sister..someday... I will be your sunlight.. and you will be my moonlight.. and you will stay." Up on the moon Luna had a sparkle in her eye, she was smiling and she laughed, Celestia had thought she heard it, but she wasn't sure since her sister was so far far away...
