"Wh...wha...?" said Pikachu as he started to wake up, though his senses told him he was still out cold. He was in a pitch black area and there were two lights around.
"What the...?" asked a confused Pikachu. He then heard something come from one light. It seemed to be calling for him. And the light coming from it...felt good.
'Son...' suddenly came a voice from the light Pikachu was looking at. The silhouettes that soon appeared in front of him took the shape of a Pikachu with a heart shaped tail and a Raichu.
"Mom...Dad..." said Pikachu. The last time he had seen his parents, they had gotten him out of a forest fire but couldn't save themselves. It had been so long since he had seen them, but now there they were. Pikachu reached a paw out to them, wanting to be with his parents again.
'Please son...let's be a family again...' said Pikachu's mother.
'Let's live together like we use to'. said Pikachu's father. Pikachu drew closer and closer to them. He was about to be with them again.
"DON'T LEAVE ME!!!" suddenly came another voice from the other light. Pikachu immediately stopped in his tracks as he recognized the voice. It was Buneary's voice. Pikachu's senses suddenly came back to him and he remembered what happened to him. Seeing Princess Luna for the first time, the battle with Team Rocket, and him telling Celestia to blow up Team Rocket's machine with him still in it. He turned back around and faced towards the other light.
'What are you doing son?' asked Pikachu's mom. Pikachu turned his head towards them.
"...My friends need me more..." was all Pikachu said before charging at the light he heard Buneary's voice from using Extremespeed. As he drew nearer, pain started going through his body and grew more intense with each step he took. But Pikachu couldn't let that stop him. As soon as he got close, he reached out as far as he can and touched the light, causing his entire world to go white.

Episode 8: Rising Feelings & The Fake Champion
The first thing Pikachu heard as the world slowly returned to him was a faint beeping. He also heard some others crying. As soon as he got his vision back, the first thing he saw was Buneary crying on his stomach.
"Hey...who...died?" asked Pikachu in a weak voice. Buneary's heads immediately shot up at the sound of Pikachu's voice. Buneary then suddenly hugged him almost immediately with tears still in her eyes.
"You're alive!" Buneary said, almost nearly shouting.
"Wh...what do you m...mean by that?" asked Pikachu. Buneary looked at him and Pikachu suddenly saw the pain and fear in her eyes.
"Pikachu...for a little bit...you...you..." said Buneary, who seemed to be struggling to say her next words. Pikachu saw this and was about to say something, but was cut off by Buneary's next words.
"You were dead!" Buneary said suddenly. Pikachu immediately gasped at this.
'I..I was dead!?' thought Pikachu. He looked back at Buneary, who looked like she was shaking not only in fear, but anger as well.
"I...I'll never forgive her..." said Buneary suddenly.
"What do you mean?" said Pikachu, trying his best to shake off the fact that he was dead for a while.
"Celestia...I saw her fire that beam at Team Rocket's machine with you still in it. It was because of her that I almost lost you forever. I will never forgive her!" said Buneary as she suddenly fired an Aura Sphere out the window and it exploded near some clouds, dispersing them.
"Buneary...you...you're not going to...like this, but...I told her...to do it..." said Pikachu. Buneary suddenly looked at him with disbelief in her eyes.
"W...WHAT!? Why would you do something like that!?" yelled Buneary.
"First of all, don't wake up the hospital...and secondly...I...I did it...because I had no way to escape...and if Team Rocket had...continued...so much more damage would have been done...I..had to take that risk...just to stop them...from destroying our current home...and hurting everyone else...mostly you...even more...I'm so sorry...for worrying you so much..." said Pikachu, slowly letting tears fall from his eyes. He suddenly felt Buneary's paw wipe them away. Pikachu then looked at her and she had a soft smile and a blush on her face.
"You did that...for me?" asked Buneary.
"Well...I did it...for our friends...but...I guess...mostly you..." said Pikachu. Buneary responded by suddenly hugging him, making Pikachu's face turn red a bit.
"...Thank you..." was all Buneary said. Pikachu smiled a bit, but then noticed Buneary's ankle wrapped up and part of it being red. Pikachu also noticed red stains on the floor leading out of the room.
"Buneary...did you...come here..by yourself?" asked Pikachu. Buneary suddenly released the hug and looked down.
"The...injury I got in that fight was much worse then anyone thought it was. My ankle was twisted so much the muscle tore off the bone a little bit. Not only that, but there was a very deep cut in it. The doctors were afraid that they might have had to amputate it, but I got lucky. I wasn't suppose to walk on it for a few weeks, but when I saw the doctors rushing to your room, I ignored their orders and came here to help...It hurts a lot right now, but...if I had lost you...there would have been a pain I would have never recovered from..." said Buneary. Pikachu came to realize the red stains in Buneary's bandages and the ones on the floor were Buneary's own blood. Pikachu then saw more tears in Buneary's eyes and this time, it was his turn to wipe them away as he looked at Buneary.
"Buneary...when I was...'dead', I saw...my parents, who I lost a long time ago, and they invited me to be a family with them again. I almost did it too...until I heard your voice...I then declined their offer and...let's just say decided to come back...but Buneary, I think if I hadn't heard your voice...I would be gone..." said Pikachu, letting a couple tears fall at the mention of his mom and dad, but then he gave Buneary a smile and pulled her into a hug, both of them blushing a bit.
"What I'm trying to say is...in a way,,,you saved my life Buneary...thank you..." said Pikachu. Buneary blushed even more then before, but she responded by smiling and hugging Pikachu back.
"...You're welcome Pikachu..." said Buneary, who felt very warm right now. Unknowingly to her, so did Pikachu.
'Why do I feel so warm and good in this embrace? Am I that thankful?' wondered Pikachu. Buneary was the first to release the hold and she began to go back to her room.
"Well...I guess I better go back to my room...before I get in trouble..." said Buneary as she began to jump down, though obviously had trouble even standing up. Pikachu didn't know why, but seeing Buneary hurt and struggle so much made him hurt a little inside, not that he could notice it because of how hurt he was, but mentally, Pikachu still felt it.
"Wait Buneary..." said Pikachu. Buneary stopped and looked back at Pikachu.
"If you don't mind...c-could you...stay with me...for tonight? I-I...kind of...don't want to be...alone after...you know...that experience I had..." said Pikachu, doing his best to try, and fail, to hide a blush. Buneary did no better as her face looked almost like Pinkie's with how hard she was blushing. But she had a feeling Pikachu was scared of being alone for the night and she also knew she couldn't make it back to her room anyway.
"O-Okay...Pikachu..." said Buneary as she crawled into Pikachu's bed as Pikachu let her get under the sheets next to him so she could stay warm, feeling the bite of the cold hospital air as she did. Buneary was still shivering a bit as she was exposed to the air much longer then Pikachu had.
'She's still cold...' thought Pikachu. He knew how to warm her up, but the thought made him blush a deep red, but he wasn't going to let Buneary stay cold. He suddenly wrapped his arms around Buneary, making her blush even harder, but she immediately stopped shivering as she looked at Pikachu, who gave her a smile. Buneary could only smile back as she wrapped her arms around Pikachu, making him blush even more.
"Thanks..." was all Buneary said before closing her eyes.
"...No problem..." said Pikachu as he closed his eyes. But before he could fall asleep, he heard Buneary mutter something, but sleep took him before he could realize what she said, though Pikachu did swear one of the words Buneary said was 'love'. But what neither of them were even aware of was something going on in northern Equestria. A battle involving a fake champion.
"Now Torterra, use Leaf Storm!" commanded Paul. His Torterra fired a storm of leaves at the fake Cynthia's Gastrodon, who dodged it by jumping into the air.
"Now Gastrodon, use Blizzard!" yelled the fake Cynthia.
"I don't think so, block it with Stone Edge!" yelled Paul. Both Pokemon fired their attacks at the same time, but since Stone Edge had a type advantage over Blizzard, it overpowered it and struck Gastrodon, who suddenly exploded into dark smoke.
"Very good. Now let's see if you can outdo yourself." came Sombra's voice. The fake Cynthia had another Poke Ball appear.
"Now Glaceon, go!" yelled the fake Cynthia. The Ice-Type Eeveelution appeared and just like the fake Cynthia, had green eyes with smoke coming from them. Other then that, it looked just like a normal Glaceon.
"Hmph...Torterra, return!" said Paul as he aimed his Poke Ball and fired a beam at Torterra, who disappeared into the Poke Ball. Paul suddenly turned to Uxie.
"Uxie, I don't ask for much, but if Sombra knows so much about the real Sinnoh Champion, then I need as much help as I can get, even though I'm afraid to admit. I need your help." said Paul. Uxie immediately understood and went onto the battlefield to face Glaceon. Paul immediately took the time to use his Pokedex to find out what Uxie's moves were.
"Extrasensory, Future Sight, Protect, and...hmm, that could be helpful." said Paul as he put his Pokedex away.
"Glaceon, Shadow Ball!" the fake Cynthia suddenly commanded. Glaceon suddenly had the dark smoke form into a giant ball and fired it at Uxie.
"Uxie, use Protect and follow up with Extrasensory!" commanded Paul. Uxie immediately put a green shield up, which blocked the Shadow Ball with ease, before firing some sort of rainbow colored beam at Glaceon at a blinding speed. The impact immediately made Glaceon explode into the same dark smoke. Paul was in shock of how strong Uxie was, but shook it off quickly.
'Of course Uxie is that strong. It's a legendary Pokemon after all.' thought Paul.
"Impressive, but now come the final test. Let's see how you do when the Pokemon are giant!" suddenly came Sombra's voice. The fake Cynthia threw one more Poke Ball and from it came the ace Pokemon of the Sinnoh Champion's team, Garchomp. But suddenly, it absorbed the dark smoke and grew to 10 times it's normal height before letting off a massive roar. While everyone else flinched at it, Paul stood unphased.
"You think just because a Pokemon is giant makes it more powerful. I'll show you. Uxie, use Future Sight!" said Paul. Uxie fired a lighting bolt into the air.
"Garchomp, Draco Meteor!" said the fake Cynthia. Garchomp, due to it's size, fired a massive orange orb into the air, which then exploded into several large energy meteors.
"Uxie, Protect now!" said Paul. Uxie put it's shield up, but the impact from one of the meteors immediately destroyed it, allowing another one to hit Uxie.
"Uxie, no!" yelled Paul, only to get his attention taken away by a scream. He looked behind him and saw another meteor heading towards Blanked Bloom.
"Oh no!" yelled Paul. Suddenly, Scootaling, with some sort of burst of energy, flew at Blanked Bloom and pushed her away, allowing the meteor to hit the ground harmlessly. Blanked Bloom looked at Scootaling afterwards.
"Ya...saved me?" asked Blanked Bloom. Scootaling only looked away, trying to hide the painful look in her face.
"I only did it because you helped me in a way. We're even now." said Scootaling. Blanked Bloom continued to look at her.
'Same as the regular Scootaloo, but just darker...' thought Blanked Bloom, both her and Scootaling not paying attention to the other meteor heading towards them.
"Secret Sword!" suddenly came Keldeo's voice as he appeared in front of them and sliced the meteor in two. He cringed in pain, but looked at the other two.
"What are you two doing, we need to get out of here!" said Keldeo. The other two nodded and headed towards safer ground. Paul looked back on the battlefield and saw Uxie, with bruises all over it's body, doing it's best to get back up.
"HAHAHAHA! Face it, you can't win!" came Sombra's voice. Paul growled a bit until suddenly, a blue lighting bolt came down and struck Garchomp, causing it to yell in pain.
"What!?" came Sombra's voice. This time, it was Paul's turn to laugh.
"You forgot about Future Sight! And now it's time to end it, Uxie, use Giga Impact!" yelled Paul. Uxie flew at Garchomp at a high speed while being surrounded by a pink and yellow aura. Uxie hit Garchomp with all of it's might and it was enough for both Garchomp and the fake Cynthia to explode into dark smoke and drift away. Paul then caught Uxie, who was hurt from the battle, before looking up as the dark smoke was going away.
"Very good, Paul of Veilstone City. You really do deserve to be the chosen one. I will be waiting for you...in the Crystal Empire..." said Sombra as he flew towards the north. Paul, annoyed that Sombra got away again, immediately pursued him, unknown to the fact that Blanked Bloom, Scootaling, and Keldeo were heading that way as well. As they were, Scootaling looked at Keldeo, who seemed more determined to do something.
"Hey, what the hay has gotten into you?" asked Scootaling. Keldeo suddenly stopped and only turned his head slightly so she could see him looking at her.
"The same thing that you have to do. I need to beat Kyurem...more then ever now." said Keldeo as he looked onward. He closed his eyes as he took some time to remember some things from his past.
"A long time ago, back on my world, there was a forest fire in my home, which was known as the Moon of Icirus. I...lost my parents in that fire and what they looked like is just a foggy memory for me because I was so young. I was saved by the Swords of Justice and they raised me like a family is suppose to do as well as train me to become one of them. Several years later, I thought I was ready to face Kyurem, because I needed to defeat him to become a Sword of Justice. But during that battle, my horn was broken...and I ran. Kyurem continued to chase me, angered that I ran away from our battle. But after some time of running, it took some words of encouragement from my friends Cilan, Iris, and Ash for me to face Kyurem. This time I didn't run, but I still lost even after learning Secret Sword. But even though I lost, I still become a Sword of Justice. But the memory of my defeat still haunts me..." said Keldeo. He looked into the sky as he continued.
"When this whole thing started, the last thing I expected was having a rematch with Kyurem, though I wish it was under better terms. I had to save Scootaling from Kyurem, who was being controlled by Giovanni...and even though I saved you Scootaling...I lost again..." said Keldeo. Scootaling remembered that event clearly and after hearing that story, realized that taking down Giovanni and Kyurem not only meant a lot to her, but it meant a lot to Keldeo as well.
"And this time, I'll finish what I started!" suddenly came a familiar voice. All three of them looked up and floating right above them was Team Rocket's leader himself standing on Kyurem.
"You! Get down here you bucking coward! Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle better be alright!" yelled Scootaling, who immediately got angry at the sight of Giovanni, who simple chuckled.
"They couldn't be more fine even if I tried. In fact, they're helping me with something I could only dream of having the power of." said Giovanni. Scootaling immediately began to charge, but stopped when Blanked Bloom grabbed her tail.
"Don't charge into a fight ya can't win Scoots, especially in yer condition.! Yer just like Rainbow Dash!" said Blanked Bloom.
"DON'T MENTION THAT BUCKING MARE!" yelled Scootaling suddenly, causing Blanked Bloom to gasp in shock. But before she could ask why Scootaling called Rainbow Dash that, Keldeo looked towards them.
"This is no time to fight! And speaking of fights, this is one we can't win! We need to get out of here!" said Keldeo. The other two immediately nodded and turned to run the other way, but were stopped by a Dragon Pulse.
"You aren't going anywhere! Kyurem, hit them with Shadow Claw!" yelled Giovanni as he suddenly got onto a hover craft. Kyurem charged at the three with a claw covered in a shadow aura. But before it could strike them, a purple blur suddenly appeared and blocked the attack, causing an explosion. Kyurem immediately was sent flying.
"What!?" asked a shocked Giovanni. When the smoke cleared, standing there was a tall, feline like Pokemon glowing with blue energy. Giovanni suddenly smiled.
"You may have removed my memories of you before...but thanks to a certain someone, I remember you...Mewtwo." said Giovanni. Mewtwo glared at him, knowing Giovanni was the one behind his creation. Before doing anything else, he looked at the three behind him and used his powers to heal Scootaling and Keldeo.
"You three, get out of here." was all Mewtwo said before turning back towards Kyurem as the blue energy surrounding him suddenly seemingly erupted as Mewtwo prepared to face the strongest Dragon-Type Pokemon in existence. Giovanni just laughed as Kyurem let out a roar at Mewtwo before the two charged at each other. The battle of legends is about to begin as the journey continues...
