Linkin Pony- Recharge

by Kaciekk

Part 27

CharmingRhythm studied the ponies as they all worked. They collaborated together and switched around pieces. They worked on recharging the things in the buildings. CharmingRhythm suggested that the energy should run through the ground. Pure energy did come from the ground.
ThunderCharm looked through the windows. She placed pieces of wires out of them. Little generators lined up, but most of the energy came from beneath. They wondered how they would do this.
"They are doing well." CharmingRhythm said as SpinningNote stepped up.
"Hmm." Spinning searched around.
Some of the ponies dug and place wires in the ground. Hopefully the rocks wouldst get in the way, they did live in a very rocky terrain.
If only the trees grew back. They could have plenty of food then. But many ponies worked on purifying water. EchoBeat was helping with planting, he was very happy with doing so. His little plant back in the base had grown very tall, and the tomatoes were very healthy.
HyperBlitz scaned the ponies. He flew above them, with his wings steady. Then he gently landed on a building. He shuffled his hooves, he didn't want to fall through the roof. But nothing happened, even with the crumbling buildings. HyperBlitz stuck his head over the edge. FeatherTune helped place some of the wire.
"You should put them over there." HyperBlitz called out to him and pointed his fore-hoof.
FeatherTune then took the wires and placed them to the left.
"No! Over there." Hyper shouted.
"What?! Stop confusing me! I'll figure this out." FeatherTune snapped. He then followed the other ponies.
CharmingRhythm trotted over to TunderCharm, she turned around after she heard the metal clanking, knowing who it was. "You think you can go over to the left corner of the suburb? We need to spread out when we turn on."
"Alright." ThunderCharm nodded, then lifted up. "We need this to be perfect! And i will make it perfect, I am a perfectionist."
"That's like EchoBeat." Rhythm said looking up. "What is your talent anyways?"
"Paying attention to detail." ThunderCharm said. "Well, that is what it is in a nutshell. I can swirl clouds and make storms when it needs to rain. I also can place the clouds the right way." She explained.
Then she flew over to where CharmingRhythm told her to go. She stood on the ground and placed wires through the building. They all tried to hide the wires, because they didn't want anypony to trip.
CharmingRythm sat upon a hill with his friends. All six patiently watch. Rhythm clicked something on his leg, a communication thing. "Okay, I think we are ready. We all turn on in.
Three.
Two.
One."

Suddenly, the lights flickered, sounds buzzed around, a blue glow engulfed the buildings. A power lifted up their spirits, making them feel better then ever. All the lights turned on, electronics turned on, and the little neighborhood turned alive. All the ponies cheered. This was finally a place that ponies could live.
Suddenly a random mare came out and hugged CharmingRhythm. He gave out big eyes. He was confused.
"Hey, can you let go?"
The mare stood back. "Sorry," She cocked. "I'm just so happy, my children can be safer now."
"We still have a long way to go." BlazingFlair told her.
She nodded. "I know, but I just want to thank you guys."
"Thank all the ponies," FeatherTune added. "They all helped."
Then the mare walked away with a cheery trot.
The Linkin Ponies watched the buildings with pride. They had brought back hope to the world. CharmingRhythm then stepped back. He turned around and headed back towards the base.
"Where are you going?" HyperBlitz asked.
"I'm going back to the base, I've had a long day. You can stay here if you wish." CharmingRhythm told them, then went down the slope.
The five stayed put, and watched the little suburb. Ponies that went by would smile at them, and they waved back. HyperBlitz looked around, he noticed that the wires even glowed. Once the sun would go down, it would be easy to get around. But right now, the sun was still up, and was about halfway through the western sky.
"It's really amazing what we did." EchoBeat said softly.
"Hmm-hm." BlazingFlair muttered. "It's really beautiful."
"I agree." A soft voice of a mare came from behind them. The voice was familiar.
Hyper turned his head. There was a mare that stood looking up the hill. She was a skinny, aqua green unicorn. She had brown hair that was tattered from stress, like her coat. But her light brown eyes scanned them with joy.
"HeartFelt!!!" HyperBlitz shouted, then zoomed down and squeezed her. "How did you get here!"
"I-I..." She couldn't speak with him hugging her so hard. All the other stallions came around and hugged her too. "Can you...guys..."
HyperBlitz loosened the grip on her and gave a huge smile. "HeartFelt! I can't believe you are here, how did you find us!?"
HeartFelt shook her head. "I had some help along the way. I asked many ponies for directions, and I didn't stop. But it's really a long story." She said.
"You can tell your story once we get back to the base!" HyperBlitz said with excitement. "CharmingRhythm went back there."
HeartFelt followed the five stallions. They all were glad to see her. They trotted back to the base and opened the door. Nopony was guarding it from the inside. When they got inside, HeartFelt stopped in the middle of the floor and notice the symbol.
"Shh." HyperBlitz whispered to her, then he fluttered over to the cornor of the hallway entrance. "CharmingRythm!!!" He called out.
"What!" He shouted.
Then the clopping came from the hall, and the blue hooves stopped in the main room. HyperBlitz quickly got to the side for CharmingRhythm to see. His brown eyes widened and filled with tears.
"HeartFelt?"
"CharmingRhythm...."
