HyperBlitz stood in front of a door that sign read "Warning: Danger Area" That meant that the energy was powerful, it could hurt a pony if it wasn't handled correctly. Hyper took one of the black suits and put it on. It was a tight fit, but it was better this way. He stuck the ear piece in his left ear and moved forward.
The energy mill was on a below level, like a canyon. It had holes in the rocky ground where the energy shot out. It was like a cave. There was a ceiling where the other end of the energy lasers could connect to. Without the suit, HyperBlitz could be blown to dust if he touch those lasers.
Hyper remembered some of the direction, he went left and kept going. Suddenly, he heard the intercom come on.
"Hyper, are you there?" FeatherTune's voice echoed.
"Yeah..." Hyper still walked. "Is this connected with all the microphones?"
"No, I can change back and forth from you and Rhythm." FeatherTune replied. "Go to your right. Then left after that big rock."
HyperBlitz did as he said. He glanced around. He looked up at the ceiling, he could see where the laser was off center. It was tearing into the wall, and not the hole that captured it. Hyper took one last turn and saw CharmingRhythm in front of him.
"Need some help?" Hyper said.
Rhythm turned around. "I guess, we need to figure this out."
"Do you have tools?" HyperBlitz asked.
"Of course." CharmingRhythm replied. 
HyperBlitz watched him take a box from the side. He opened it with magic. Hyper looked up at the flickering blue. There seemed to be something loose.
"I need you to go up there and tighten the bolt." CharmingRhythm told him. He placed a tool in front of the pegasus. It was like some sort of wrench.
Hyper took it in his mouth and gazed back up. How could he do that? He'd need a steady hover. 
A buzz came in from the ear piece. "Be careful Hyper, don't get your wing too close to the energy. It can attract, and cause a backfire." FeatherTune said. HyperBlitz pushed in his ear piece.
"What else would attract?"  Hyper then dropped the wrench.
"Well, um.... I think plastic will melt, that's why we use metal." FeatherTune retorted.
Hyper stopped, his ear piece was made of metal, but he had something else that was made of plastic. His buds. That would be terrible if they melted onto his ear! And that would hurt!
Hyper stood up, using his wings for balance. He took his fore hooves and snapped the buds out, left, then right. He placed them by Rhythm "Hold these."
HyperBlitz then took the wrench again and flew up. He studied the loose bolt. He tried not to get too close too soon. He glanced down, then CharmingRhythm shot out some magic. It hit the top of the energy laser. He moved it over a bit, into the hole. Rhythm used all the power he possible could.
Hyper saw the break, but it was burnt. The energy had destroyed it. He swiftly recovered the loose bolt, then got down. Right as CharmingRhythm let his magic go, Hyper yelled.
"NO! Don't! Keep it, we need to fix the plating." He shouted, and Rhythm scrambled to shot his magic back up.
"You need... to... explain... things better..." Rhythm stuttered as sweet rolled down his face. 
HyperBlitz pushed his ear piece. "Feather! How can I fix the plating? Is there any metal around?" 
"Uh..." FeatherTune paused. "I have no idea." 
Then the intercom beeped, a new voice came on, in a quiet tone. "There might be some. If you go down.... errr." EchoBeat spoke confused. "It's hard to explain. Over in the right corner, under some 'cave' there is some I believe."
HyperBlitz called out to Rhythm. "Try to keep that hold, I'll be right back!" 
"Shit..." 
The pegasus quickly galloped over to the right. He wondered a bit, then saw the little crevice. He peeked inside, the light showed hints of silver. Hyper quickly grabbed a part. He examined it, it was a good size. He swirled around and looked over. The dark blue magic was dying out. HyperBlitz flung himself forward and flew as fast as possible.
He took one of the tools from the box and jumped into the air. Hyper panted and fluttered his wings. With his hoof bent down, clamping to the tool, he swung it at the plate. It gave a deep ring, then he kept hitting it till it fell off. 
"Come on- Hyper... I can't..." CharmingRhythm said in pain.
Then HyperBlitz pushed the plate up into the ceiling. "Let go now!" He shouted. 
Rhythm then collapsed, exhausted. He eyed hyper, who was still holding on to the plate. He hadn't screwed it in, he need to have the screw. CharmingRhythm glanced over, and with what magic he had left, took some screws and flung them up into the air, sticking them into the plate. HyperBlitz let go and fell.
He placed his hooves out to catch his fall. He thudded onto the ground and looked over to Rhythm. The energy was now flowing normally. The hole that captured it gave the right glow now.
"Good job guys! I think the power is coming back on!" FeatherTune said
Both HyperBlitz and CharmingRhythm breathed very heavily. While on the ground, Rhythm stuck his hoof out to Hyper. Then Hyper clapped it and gave a respected 'brohoof'.
"We better get back, we can rest up inside." HyperBlitz said, CharmingRhythm nodded. "Wait, let me get my buds!" Then he turned around and got them from the floor.
They both pulled each other up, with the power they had left, carried each other. Rhythm smiled with relief. Hyper's brown eyes caught his smile, then he smiled too. When they got back inside, the took the suits of and rested, they need to regain there energy again, so they slept.
