In the Canterlot hospitable, Celestia was lying on a bed still recovering but she still was unconscious. Everyone was standing close by hoping she would be okay. Luna was right next to her with Twilight, with tears in their eyes.
"Celestia, please don't leave me. I left you before, but please don't leave me!" said Luna choking through her tears. Thomas was sadly watching Luna and Twilight suffer, then he thought of something, he stood up and began to walk up closer to Celestia. As he did he took something out of his chest. A pointy ended object of some sort.
"What's that?" asked Shining Armor.
"That's the Matrix of the Train-Primes, it's a special spark, that can revive a Trainbot's spark. But I'm not sure it can revive Celestia," Optimus answered.
Thomas then got down on his knees and gently picked up Celestia and said, "Princess, it's time for you to come back." then he placed the Matrix on her chest, the Matrix glowed for a moment and then stopped. Slowly, weakly, Celestia opened her eyes. Her vision was blurred, and let her eyesight adjust to the light. She heard voices talking, but could not make out the words. Celestia realized she was laying down on something and felt around. A bed. Celestia’s eyesight finally restored itself and she looked around. She was lying on a bed in one of the rooms of Canterlot's hospital.
"It worked! Thomas brought her back! exclaimed Rainbow. Celestia looked up and saw Thomas smiling. She looked to her left and saw Luna and Twilight.
Celestia got up on her feet and looked to Thomas, "Thomas, it's good to see you again." Then Luna hugged her sister, which Celestia gladly returned. Then she hugged Twilight next. Then she looked to Thomas and said, "Thomas, where is Galitor?"
"Galitor's gone. Twilight stuck the Elements of Harmony in my chest and their power made me stronger. Then I destroyed the evil spirit. Discord came back too, but Edward killed him." answered Thomas.
"Thank you for saving Equestria, good tank engine. And Thank you for revving me, I owe you one." said Celestia. Then Twilight walked up to Thomas, she had a look on her face that said, "There's something I want to tell you." Thomas transformed back into his tank engine self so he could have proper eye contact.
Twilight stopped when she was a few feet from his buffers and then she looked him in the eye and said, "Thomas, you've been a good friend to me ever since you first showed up, and when I showed that special spot, I had strange feeling go through me, I didn't know what it was. Until... You saved my life. It was love. The truth is, I don't like you, I love you." Thomas' eyes popped with surprise. "You are the best friend a pony could ever have. But what I wanna say is, can I have your hand in marriage?" Thomas' was astounded from what he heard, he thought for a minute.
Then he said, "I'm not sure, I mean I'm tank engine, and you're a unicorn. Will Celestia allow it?"
From hearing that Celestia, turned to Thomas and said, "Thomas, I can see my faithful student truly loves you. So for saving my faithful student, killing Chrysalis, and for saving Equestria from the evil emperor Galitor. Then I, Princess Celestia give you permission to have this marriage!"
Thomas was happy to hear this then he looked to Twilight and said, "Yes Twilight, I'd like that. I'd like that very much." Twilight's eyes beamed, then she jumped with joy. When she stopped stood on Thomas' running plate and kissed him on the cheek. Thomas' cheeks what redder than James' paint.
Percy chuffed up to Thomas and said, "Can I be your best engine?"
"Of course you can Percy." said Thomas. Percy whistled happily, then everyone else blew their whistles and honked their horns.
"And your wedding shall be held in the castle!" said Celestia.
