Pinkie Pie

Scribblenauts Equestria

"Hey Maxwell, where's your notebook?"

Maxwell looked around his room for a second. He was only met with an empty room, devoid of anything of interest.

Well, when you own something that can make anything, a giant, dancing, crying, red elephant is as interesting as you think.

"Huh... I could have sworn I left it next to the teleportation globe..."

Maxwell quickly looked around the the room again.

"...which is gone too."

Twilight sighed as she lay content on her bed, completely frazzled. She had been known to act rather... insane at times, but this outburst was not in an ill manner. It felt rather nice to unwind once in a while. She had been out of hoof at times, but she knew this this was only for a moment. She was just glad to be able to close her eyes and relax, seeing as how she was always busy or occupied with a fantastic book.

Twilight relayed the recent events through her mind. She was beyond happy, if not a tad bit confused. The adrenaline that continued to run through her body warded any thoughts that could prove fruitful at the moment. She had not had that much fun in a while. All she needed to do was to open her eyes, finish her tasks, then hang out with her friends.

Twilight turned on her side. She wasn't necessarily paying any attention during her outburst. Now that she had calmed down a little, she could clean up whatever minimal mess she made. She opened her eyes.

Her eyes almost fell out of her face.

In the center of the room was a mini volcano with a lava twister on the top, spinning around various books, food items, apparel, and a single pickle. The ordeal was ripping items from the walls, desks, bookshelves, and anything that the twister could get a hold of. The whole scene was a display of destruction. Things that wouldn't exist here were there. Twilight was shocked. She had never witnessed so much destruction in all her days.

"OH SWEET CELESTIA!"

Bed sheets flew as Twilight jumped from her bed, slaloming her way through the apocalypse of a room, and sprinted through the door, all in a blur. The book, which was hanging limply on her horn, managed to stay on. She had forgotten about the book. She was just glad that she hadn't left in there, seeing as how it was probably the only way to fix the room.

She managed to stealthily fall down the stairs, only breaking one of the floorboards. Twilight hastily rose to her hooves before flying around the house at break-neck speed.

"SPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIKE!"

Twilight was rather worried about the baby dragon. Spike had been tasked with cleaning the bookshelves. There was no doubt that he had finished. Twilight had no idea how long she had been messing around in her room anyway.

Twilight couldn't just set it aside. She went to look. She checked every room. She checked every closet. Heck, she ended up looking in the fridge she was so desperate. Twilight lowered to her haunches in the center of the library, next to a pile of books, all marked with an author that had a name that started with "N". She was defeated. She had no idea where the dragon was. Maybe he was in the room?

'Calm down, Twilight! He probably just went to go check on me, found the mess, and went for help!'

Twilight chuckled nervously. She was nearly on the brink of insanity once again. She could feel her mind going haywire by each waking moment, threatening to take over. She had no idea how to fix it. She almost felt like running, but she knew that there was some way to fix it before it devoured her library.

'Think, Twilight, think!'

She continued to bang her head into her hoof over and over, as if the action actually did something. She almost gave up before she remembered something.

'Wait! The book!'

Twilight looked down at the book that lay at the bottom of the staircase leading upstairs to that hellhole of a room. She hastily sprinted to the steps of the stairs, her hooves flying up and down as she nervously trotted in place. She had no idea how she's fix that mess without brutally murdering a library and possibly a few ponies.

As she picked up the book in her hooves before scrambling through the book as fast as possible. The pages flew. They were all the same. Same globe, backpack, and icons. It was practically hopeless.

'There HAS to be some way to fix this!'

"Hiya, Twilight!"

Twilight stopped suddenly as a high-pitched, candy-sprinkled voice sounded behind her. She couldn't help but spin around at the sound. Behind her was Pinkie Pie, who had just nonchalantly trotted into the front door of the library. She seemed to understand what was going on, yet her face was neutral. Pinkie mentioned that she was going to come over to the library around three to get Twilight to the picnic her friends and she had all organized for that day. Twilight stared for a few moments before just turning back to the book.

"Pinkie! I'd love to chat right now, but I really need to fix a problem that I have upstairs."

Pinkie stared at Twilight slightly curious. She hopped quickly right up to Twilight in a bubbly manner. She reached over Twilight before putting her foreleg over Twilight's neck.

"Silly Twilight! You just need to press the reset button!"

Twilight stopped. She lowered her hooves to the ground before putting the book in her telekinesis, which she had forgotten about, due to the current havoc ravaging her bedroom.

"Wh-what reset button?"

"The one that's on the book!"

Pinkie took her foreleg off of Twilight's neck before pointing to the side of the notebook. Sure enough, there was a large button etched across the spine that read, "RESET".

Twilight stared at the button for a second before lowering the book slightly lower. She raised one hoof before placing it against the button.

As the button slid slightly into the book, the sounds emanating from the upper floor stopped. Not a sound was heard, save for a rather heavy thud. Twilight grew a face of utter confusion. She turned to Pinkie.

"Pinkie, h-how did you-!?"

"Silly Twilight! Everypony knows that you just need to press the reset button!"

Twilight stared in utter dismay before just shaking her head. She could worry about it later.

Without a moment's waste, she gently dropped the book to the ground. She raced up the stairs. As her hooves reached the final step, she opened the door leading to her room.

Inside was what she hadn't expected to see. The room was spotless. There were none of the items summoned there anymore. Each item pulled from the room's furniture had been placed back perfectly, no scratches or damage, even though it had been in the middle of a fire-twister. In the center of the room, was a clueless, confused, and downright angry Spike.

"Twilight!? What in Celestia's name HAPPENED!?"

Spike was fuming. Twilight could practically see the anger radiate off of him. In his hand was the skin of a pickle. Weirdly enough, that was the only thing remaining.

"I come up to see what happened, and I see books flying around a TORNADO. Next thing I know, I wake up next to the skin of a PICKLE!"

Twilight shuffled her hooves, embarrassed. She didn't know how she could explain this one to Spike. It was still new and was a shock to her.

Thinking back to it, she left the book back in the library, along with all the piles of books. She had completely forgot it was re-shelving day. What other reason would Spike have come upstairs?

"Look, Spike. I'll explain to you later. First, I need to know. Did you finish cleaning those shelves?"

Spike could clearly see that she was dodging the question, but he knew that she wouldn't get away with it.

'She'll have to tell me eventually...'

Spike slowly nodded his head, defeated. He just needed to know what had happened. It didn't matter too much, but in his opinion, ignorance was not bliss.

"Okay, you can go relax or hang out. I can finish the rest of the job. Thank you very much for your help today! I'll make sure to get you a treat when I go out with my friends later, okay?"

Spike seemed to visibly elate at the aspect of getting a treat and being able to relax for the rest of the day. He turned around before plopping back down on his bed.

Twilight turned away from her friend. She had to put those things away. Before she left the room, she glanced back to her personal bookshelf.

'Spotless...'

Twilight began trotting down the stairs before she began to think.

'Hmm, I left Pinkie down there with the book... I'll just tell her that I'll meet her yesterday. I just need to put those books away first.'

As Twilight reached the bottom of the stairs, she heard a small, "poof". She turned her head towards the center of the library. Before she could realize what was going on, a giggling streak of pink flew out the door out to Ponyville. Twilight passed it off as Pinkie leaving, before she realized something was off.

Oh yes, there were only a few THOUSAND cupcakes lying in the middle of the room, next to the pile of books.

Scared, Twilight looked all around the floor. She checked every nook and cranny, but she couldn't find it. She couldn't lose it now.

The book was gone.
