Chapter 3 – Total understanding…
You follow Twilight down the halls of the castle as she talks, “Do you think that was…a bit too fast?”
You think about what you just heard and think yes, “Oh no not at all.”
She smiles at you, “Good, I want you two to end up liking each other. I’ll talk to him later today after he has time to think about it.”
You picture his face in your head…as you were walking past him he had the look that said, you touch my sister I’ll kill you…oh crap, “Um Twilight what are you going to tell him?”
Twilight stops in the hall and taps her hoof to her mouth…”I don’t kn-…”
Her sentence is cut short at the sound of Rarity screaming. You both rush down the hallway to a bedroom where she is laying on the bed crying.
Twilight’s voice is rush as she talks, “What! What is it?”
Rarity points to an emblem of three butterflies on the door; she talks through her tears, “Fluttershy got the room with the view! Wah haa haa.”
You walk out of the room rolling your eyes.
You look over the doors and find the one that has Twilight’s cutie mark on it. You walk over to it and push open the door; to your surprise it’s not empty… Sitting on the bed is Rainbow dash.
She has her back turned to the door and her ear twitches as she hears the door squeak open, “Twilight we need to..-“
As she turns around she stops her sentence and her long face turns into a more surprised and slightly confused expression. She is quick to jump off the bed at the sight of you and she now talks a bit more nervously, “Um…Hi, how are you?”
Your body is tense and your mouth is shut closed as you stare at her, your mind is now racing with thoughts of yesterday and you're struck completely dumb on speech.
Rainbow gets a little closer and has a more rush voice as she talks, “Look I’m REALLY really sorry…are you ok?”
You quiver your mouth a little trying to say something but your mouth is not wanting to let up. Your mind is racing with one half wanting to talk things out with her and the other more domain side still screaming to run and that you’re a terrible person.
Rainbow looks to the ground as she relies that you’re not going to talk, “oh…”
You bite your lip at the sight of the always excited and life filled pony looking so down, you reach your hoof out to her and brush her hair, “I’m no-“
“Hey do you wan-“
You quickly pull yourself away from Rainbow as Twilight enters the room. Your heart is pounding at the sight of her.
Twilight happily smiles to Rainbow, “Hi Rainbow what’s…-“
Rainbow darts out of the room before she could finish. Twilight looks to you in confused, “Everything ok?”
You shake your head, “Um..um what did you want to say?”
She gets her smile back as she floats her satchel to the bed, “I was wondering if you wanted to see the garden with me.”
You’re quick to shake your head.
“Great, come on.”
You follow her out of the room trying to calm your thoughts.

You have walked in silence to the garden; she hasn’t seemed to care as she still walks close to you. But you still have an uneasy feeling as you walk near her, and now you think you’re starting to feel your hangover again which only make you remember last night more, which of course fuels your mind to play against you.
You try to take your mind off of it by looking at the colorful flowers and the mass array of stone statues that surround the lavish garden. The dirt ground is also a nice change from the stone you have been walking on.
The statues around you as you two walk are of all kinds of animals and ponies, some of which are labeled as great heroes, this does help clear your mind as you think how cool it would be to be a statue.
You get lost in your thoughts as you walk a few seconds pass before you release that Twilight has stop walking with you. As you look behind you, you notice her staring at a statue with a face of disgust and anger.
You look over the figure as you walk back to her; it looks like some kind of Chinese dragon smashed together with different animal parts. You kind of laugh at it dumb expression and the poorly picked parts; you look over the head a goat? How does that match a lion paw and…what is that a wing? Cool beard though.
You look to Twilight, “um… you ok?”
Twilight’s voice is raised as she looks at the statue, “How…how could they just leave him standing here!?” She hoofs to the statue and look to you.
You shift your eyes back and forth and don’t know what to think. “It’s just a statue?”
Twilight looks at you, “Just a statue? This is Discord.”
You look over the figure again, “This is one of the things you have fought?”
Twilight holds her head up proudly, “Yes, and I feel as though the Princess needs to be told where he is being kept.”
“What if the Princess put him here?”
Twilight shakes her head, “She would not leave the god of chaos out in a garden.”
You flick at the statue and feel a sense of pride; I just flicked a god…if he is one.
You follow Twilight away from the statue. But as you two walk away you hear a faint rumbling, Twilight turns back to the statue with a pale expression…”what was that…”
You turn back to the sound that resonates from the figure encased in stone and think, no…no way is a stone going to ruin this. You look over the stone, the sound that is now getting increasingly louder sounds like a laugh.
Twilight stares at the stone in fear, “we…we need to get the Princess.”
A faint voice calls from the stones position, “Why would we do that.”
In the blink of an eye a orange film in cases you and Twilight, she lets out a scream but she is quickly silenced by an apple in her mouth. You on the other are too shocked by the event to scream. The statue lets out a flash of orange that blinds you; you close your eyes to avoid the light as you feel yourself getting pulled to the statue.
