The day wasn't even half over. SpinningNote thought about what CharmingRhythm said. How if they were fighting, they would need armor. He would like to experiment with armor.
He centered himself on the floor. Below him was the symbol. He waited till somepony showed up. Then HyperBlitz appeared.
"Hey, Hyper. I wanted to try making armor, but i don't have enough metal. I have to go out pretty far to get some, and I wanted somepony to help. I'd like a pegasus, but FeatherTune is hurt." Then he whispered. "but he'd be too weak anyways." Then Spinning when back to his normal voice. "So can you help."
"Yeah, why not? There nothing much to do anyways." HyperBlitz replied. "Maybe one more pony can come. Blazing's strong, he can carry metal."
SpinningNote nodded. "I can find him, then we will go."
They walked out in the open. They headed south-east. SpinningNote led them. No Hybrids were seen, but they kept their eyes and ears open. Suddenly, Spinning came to a stop. Down below was a field with scrap metal in it.
"Why is there so much?" BlazingFlair said.
"I think this is where they scrapped metal before, now it just lays. But a lot of it is rusting."
"Underneath rust is steel." HyperBlitz told him.
"We better be quick, lots of hybrids are around here." Spinning said, then jumped down. They all jumped after him.
Spinning examined the metal. He knew what kind he could use, and what kind wouldn't attract pure energy. He pick some up and put it in his saddlebag. BlazingFlair did the same. HyperBlitz looked around.
"Are you going to help or not?" Spinning said.
HyperBlitz jumped and went back to the metal. He didn't really know what to do. He just pick some things up and put them in his saddlebag. He watched the others, and tried to copy them.
Hyper shifted the scraps. He looked under and over. Was there a certain kind they needed? There was other things besides scrap. There was pieces of old appliances and wires. There was also unknown things too.
Suddenly, like always, they were interrupted by a noise. Hybrids of course. HyperBlitz jumped, his wings spread out. To the left, a group of hybrids stood.
"Why are you guys so fucking annoying?" Hyper yelled out. "Any time we go outside, you always find us!!"
BlazingFlair took his saddlebag off. He glared at the Hybrids. They jumped onto the piles of metal. Their hooves, clanked, metal on metal. A unicorn tilted it's head, Blazing jumped to dodge it. He ran forward then hit the hybrid, making it fall from the pile.
SpinningNote kept taking pieces of metal with his magic and throwing them at the Hybrids. This was pretty affective, since he kept hitting them in weak spots.
HyperBlitz flew up and looked around. Suddenly, a jolt of power came from behind throwing him out of the sky. He smashed into the metal and looked up. A pegasus Hybrid stood. It's wings were made of metal, and they had engines on them, making them much more powerful. Hyper stood up, blood stained his cheek.
"You bastard." HyperBlitz mumbled. Then he flew back up.
He spun his back around taking his wing into the path of the hybrid, but then the hybrid did the same. Their wings clank and they shot back. Hyper's eyes narrowed. He blasted forward into the hybrid. He knocked him down. But the hybrid still got back up. It's lifeless eye's watched HyperBlitz.
BlazingFlair kicked the other hybrid's off of the piles, hoping for some affect. Blazing breathed heavy, but still fought. The hybrid's were not as hurt as he was. BlazingFlair was determined though.
SpinningNote was having troubles too. He shot discs of metal at them, cutting through their skin. But no mater what, the kept going. He used the pure energy that he brought with him, inside his saddlebag. He took it and put it on some metal. Spinning shot it to on of the hybrids. It slit the throat, and it fell to the ground.
Hyper fought with the pegasus, but they both seem to be equal. He smashed into it, even if attacked got him hurt too. Blood ran from his yellow coat, but his eyes still surged with rage. "Stop it!!" He yelled. "I know the pony inside can hear, but it's a ignorant pony. one who has made the wrong decisions!! That's why you should die!"
HyperBlitz's wing glowed now, like before, it was blue. "FUCK IT, ARE YOU LISTENING!?"
His wing crashed into the flesh of the hybrid. Crimson flew out into the air as the hybrid fell hollow. Suddenly the pure energy Spinning had grew more powerful. The hybrid's he was fighting blown out to the ground. BlazingFlair had pure energy in his sash, that glowed now too, making him much stronger.
In an instant, all the hybrids fell dead. The surge of energy left the field. HyperBlitz set back down on the ground and shook his head. The other ponies looked around. No more hybrids stood.
"We need to be quick, more can come!" Spinning yelled out. He swiftly got his saddlebag.
Blazing looked at Hyper. "You need to be healed. You're hurt more then any of us."
"No, I'll be fine." HyperBlitz snapped. "Let's just get that metal and leave."
BlazingFlair took his saddlebag too, and put a few more pieces inside. He glanced at one of the dead hybrids. What if they used their metal with pure energy? Would that contradict itself?
"Blazing, lets go!" SpinningNote shouted. BlazingFlair quickly got some parts and ran to them.
