Light flooded in the room. It was odd. Light this bright hadn't shown in a while. HyperBlitz tried to cover his face with his hoof. He realized the light was morning. Then the Pegasus rolled over... onto the floor. He jolted up. And looked around as if somepony saw him.
HyperBlitz trotted out into the hall. Then into the main room. EchoBeat, like most times, was on the computer. FeatherTune was in the chair besides him. Hyper stared at them.
"Why are you always the last to get up?" FeatherTune said without turning around.
"Why does it matter." HyperBlitz replied. He looked over at the window. "It's actually fucking light out there. It's been awhile since I've seen that."
"Yeah... but it still doesn't compare to the days before the change." FeatherTune said.
"I like to call it the Catalyst."
"You like to reference everything to songs." Feather gazed at him.
"Why not?" HyperBlitz smirked.
Then FeatherTune got down from his chair and went over into the meeting room. HyperBlitz came up behind EchoBeat. He watched him control the screen of the computer.
"Anything interesting?" Hyper asked.
"Well, you have been getting messages. I don't read them though. You had one last night too. I think you just got one now." EchoBeat stepped down. "Maybe you want to reply."
HyperBlitz got onto the computer and look at the message.
Message from HeartluvCR
He turned over at EchoBeat. "Can I look at these alone?" EchoBeat only stood there for a few moments, then went away.
He clicked the message and opened it. The user, HeartFelt, was still online. He turned the chat into private. Hyper looked at her last texts:
HeartluvCR: Anypony there?
HeartluvCR: I want to talk.
HyperBlitz got onto his user and started to type.
LinkinBlitz: I'm here. sorry, i didn't know.
HeartluvCR: Thats okay.
LinkinBlitz: What do you want to talk about.
HeartluvCR: I want to know where you guys are?
LinkinBlitz: Its hard to explain now that the world isn't really in any order.
HeartluvCR: Is is still the 6 of you? Or did anything happen?
LinkinBlitz: We are all still here, fortunately.
HeartluvCR: That's good, since many ponies have died. I think i could of died, but this nice stallion helped me. I'm using his computer.
LinkinBlitz: I'd have to think where we are at...
HyperBlitz paused. It really was hard to think about this. They were more toward the west. Then he remembered. It was very close to the band's hometown. It wasn't the hometown though, just close.
LinkinBlitz: I think we are close to LPs hometown somewhere around that area.
HeartluCR: Really? well... where it USED to be?
LinkinBlitz: Yeah... I haven't really seen the remains... It seen suburbs around though.
HeartluvCR: I bet if CharmingRhythm saw it, it would break his heart.
LinkinBlitz: I'm sure... he did grow up in one of the suburbs.
HeartluvCR: Well I'll have to get lots of directions. I know it's by a larger city.
LinkinBlitz: You'd still have lots of troubles getting here.
There was a long pause where HeartFelt didn't write. HyperBlitz wasn't sure what happened. It still said she was online though, so he waited.
HeartluvCR: so anything else? Do I need to know anything?
LinkinBlitz: I'm not sure.
HyperBlitz could sense another pony in the room. He looked over his shoulder. CharmingRhythm watched him.
"You're chatting?" He asked.
"Yes." Hyper looked over. The little screen next to the computer was there. He pushed a button on it and turned it online. It was a computer too, but small, and another keyboard was there. It was connected on another server.
"You chat." HyperBlitz insisted.
Rhythm got on, and logged in. Hyper set a request so he could get into a private chat. He clicked it. Then the screen read:
New user in room: ChRhythm
ChRhythm: Why did you make me chat if I'm in the same room.
HyperBlitz turned to Rhythm and smiled. He shook his head and then typed.
LinkinBlitz: I want you to see who's here
HeartluvCr: Is that CharmingRhythm?
LinkinBlitz: Yes... you can probably tell by his user name.
CharmingRhythm looked at HyperBlitz confused. He stopped and thought. His eyes met Hyper's. Then he looked down before going back to type.
ChRhythm: I'm sorry
HeartluCR: Why?
ChRhythm: Because, I couldn't see you after the change. I didn't know what happened.
HeartluvCR: Chat isn't the same I know. I want to see you. I want to know how you're surviving.
ChRhythm: We all are doing fine. After we found the pure energy, it's been easy.
HeartluvCR: Did you guy's actually discover it?
ChRhythm: Yes, but nopony gives us credit.
HeartluvCR: I can tell ponies about that,
ChRhythm: weldj if you can only find ponies
HeartluvCR: what was that? weldj?
ChRhythm: sorry, I cant type that well with my hoof, that was supposed to be "Well"
HeartluvCR: What do you mean, your hoof.
LinkinBlitz: He has a mechanical hoof, and leg. Lots of ponies loose limbs, so they have mechanical ones. It's charged with the pure energy. My wing is like that too
ChRhythm: I could of explained that.
LinkinBlitz: I felt like butting in though. I haven't had a turn here.
Suddenly there was a notice: HeartluvCR has left the chat.
"What!?" CharmingRhythm yelled. "What happened?"
"Her computer could of crashed. It wouldn't be as good as ours." HyperBlitz explained.
Rhythm sighed and turned off the little screen. He looked over at Hyper. "I talk to her a little." He murmured. "I just want her to be okay. I don't want anypony to be hurt or..." He couldn't think of what to say.
"It's okay." HyperBlitz put his hoof on his friend.
