The Snow Has Fallen

She walked through the large park, it was around midnight when her mind began to think about the recent disappearances, then she started to think about the ponies that have been disappearing, sending a shiver down her spine. “Whats happening to these ponies?” she thought, then she quickly shook off the thought as it scared her. But it wasn't all that impossible, some ponies slowly started to stay more and more secluded; others disappeared without warning. She hated when her mind wandered off like this, she always made herself believe these things and scared herself.

She heard a rustling in the nearby bushes, making her jump as she was already nervous “don't let your imagination get to you Snow, its just the wind” She stopped to see if the wind was in fact blowing, it was not she realized. She started to think of what could have been in that bush, shuddering and getting mad at herself for thinking so deeply about what was happening.

As she walked along the cold, winding stone path stretching for a few hundred meters through the dying grass and leafless trees. “I hate Autumn! Its so cold and there's not even any snow to make up for it!” she said aloud, trying to take her mind off of the missing ponies. Her hoof landed upon a leaf making a soft crunch scaring herself, she then giggled and said “I need to calm down, I'm not a filly anymore! I'm letting my own hoof steps scare me! There isn't a murderer any were” She told herself, but deep down she was sure that all of what happened to those ponies wasn't a coincidence.

“Snow, now think. Why would there be a crazy pony kidnapping or worse I think the the Weather Pegasi were just a little messy and maybe it didn't end to well” Snow thought of more excuses for what happened then her mind wander off the subject “Man I am so pumped for My Little Human season 3 it comes out in 2 days!” She loved the show My Little Human it was a kids show about 6 humans learning about friendship, although ponies made fun of her for liking it, she ignored them.

“I better just head on home” She thought, she looked around for the route home but she couldn't see, she then turned around and saw a streetlight near the path, she began to make her way towards the light, so that she could find her way home. But when she got to the safety of the light she heard something behind her, as if on queue a mysterious pony started approaching her as soon as it started snowing.

“Hello?” She asked, but she didn't get a response from the pony. The mysterious pony was slowly closing the gap between them, Snow began to back away, but slipped on some ice. The pony then ran at full speed, with a hoof raised, Snow screamed but then the pony lowered the hoof with great speed, hitting Snow in the jaw. That's all it took for Snow to slip into unconsciousness.

Hours later she woke up, half expecting her to have been killed, half expecting to be in a basement staring an assortment of shiny blades in the face. But neither were the case here, she was laying in the snow, feeling lightheaded she looked around. She could see a mound of snow to her right, she moved her head to the left and saw the path that she was just walking through when she got attacked, but what scared her is, leading to her body was a trail of blood.
She was about to scream when a sharp, unbearable pain was sent through her body. She then looked down at her chest, carved into her chest very sloppily, but readable was “Fallen”. Her hooves, the tips were removed, or cut severely, and when she noticed this her body went into a painful spasm and she slipped back into unconsciousness. While she was unconscious for the second time, the pony that attacked her was shoveling snow onto her body until she was more than fully submerged in snow.
