//------------------------------// // Zecora // Story: War of the species. // by zzzzzzzzz23 //------------------------------// Chapter 4 “We are entering the planets filed.” The thermal voice sounded though out the ship. “Gretel men were going to land.” Caption Hoginton Shouted to the men on the lower level. “Caption you should come and read this!” A solder yelled from below. Haginton ran down to the solder. “What do you want?” He said putting a cigarette in his mouth. “Better be something important!” “It is, there is life of this planet!” The solder pointed to a chart on the thermal. There were a percent of life on the planet. The caption looked at the monitor. “So what, it’s just a bunch of bull shit.” The caption walked of. He went back up to his controls. “Sir, we need to.” The ship jerked to the die, Sending four solders flying in the air. A load Banging sound came from the rear of the ship. “Sir!” A man ran to the fallen Caption. “What the hell just happened?” He yelled. “We were hit by a meatier on the left side!” A Solder yelled holding his side. “We need to get out of here!” “No we don’t, just close the doors leading to the meatier damage.” The caption Said clicking buttons. The ship jerked again. Tipping the ship upside down; the caption fell. “AWWWWW!” The caption screamed as a book self-fell on his legs. “Help!” The caption tried to lift the book shelf. “Help!” He looked around; everyone in the room was killed. “Help” He tried screaming again. No one was alive to hear him. Blood gushed from his lower body. The ship was starting to turn back up right. “Danm you gravity system!” The Caption Yelled over the sound of screeching metal. The book shelf was sliding. Soon he would fall again, this time it would certainly kill him. He tried to grab onto the wall. It was sleek metal. “Hoginton!” The caption looked to his left. It was Amber. The Captions head of armory. “Help!” He shouted. Amber ran over to his side. “I’ll get this off of you!” Amber yelled over breaking glass. The windows of the ship were breaking under presser. Amber lifted the book shelf off. “My legs are broken!” The Caption yelled seeing his bones in a mess of blood and flesh. “It’s ok!” Amber started to drag the crippled man. Amber looked up to see objects being sucked out the window. Desks flew into walls, and the dead soldiers were sucked out of the window. Amber felt fear; she would never want to feel outer space. No air, no people to talk to. Amber wondered if it would be a quick death, or would it last minutes before she died. She had to get Caption to a safe place. “Hold in there!” Amber yelled dragging the Caption. “No, get yourself to safety!” “No I’m getting you to the safe room!” Caption looked at Amber. He knew there was no way that she could pull both them to safety. Space was sucking out everything. “Goodbye.” Hoginton said in a sad voice. “What are you talking about?” Amber’s eyes filled with tears. “I’m getting you out of here!” Her voice crackly from sadness. “I’m sorry Amber, get to a safe place.” Hoginton pulled out his pistol. He held it up to his head. “No!” Amber screamed as blood flew onto her face. The captions dead body flew into the air, crashing out a window. Amber stood still. Horror filled her head. Amber called over to the hall way. She stopped once more, looking back at the blood covering the wall. “Why?” She whispered. The Space ship started to drop at a high speed. It went faster and faster. “Warring, one hundred thousand feet, till impact.” The computer on the wall warred. Amber looked out a window, they were falling. They had entered the planet. Amber stood still, not knowing what to do. She had to make a plan quick. Then she shot down the hall. Amber came to a closet. In side were a dozen Para shoots. Amber grabbed to the one with her name on it. She started running down the hall. Amber tripped on a fallen desk. “Ahhh!” She yelled rolling out into the control room. Amber stumbled to a metal door. She kicked it open. Air rushed by her face. Looking down there was a forest; Thick with trees. Amber would land there. The ship was getting close to the ground. Without thinking she jumped out of the shuttle. Amber pulled on her strip that would open the para shoot. Nothing happened. “No!” She screamed pulling harder. Amber plummeted through the air. “Come on!” She yelled pulling over, and over on the string. Looking at the trees below, she saw a pond of water. She pointed her body towards the pond. She was going to land in the water. SPLASH! Amber landed into the water. She felt pain surge though her left arm. She gasped for breath, but she remembered she was under water when water flooded into her lungs. Amber was sinking into the water. The emergency supplies in the para shoot, was dragging her down. Amber waved her arms in panic, trying to grab hold of a rock. More pain surged though her body as she waved her left arm. Amber reached for her buckle that hooked the para shoot to her back. With a soft click it released, and Amber started to swim up to the surface. Amber coughed up water on the side of the pond. Pain filled her eyes with tears. Still coughing she looked at her left arm. Tears poured from her eyes as she saw her left arm bone sticking out of her arm. Blood gushed out of the arm, onto the green grass. Everything Amber needed to survive was in her bag. Know that bag was at the bottom of the pond, and there was no way for Amber to get to it; Food, first aide, a pistol, ammo, and spare cloths. All gone. Amber pulled herself out of the chilling water. Shivering she put her back to a tall tree. Amber sat there for a few long moments. Then a voice came out of the woods. “Who is there?” The voice came from a dirt path. Amber looked up to see a zebra standing in the path. “What are you?” Amber yelled trying to back up. Hitting her broken arm on a rock, more tears welled from her eyes. Amber felt fear, this zebra talked. “I think the question is who are you?” The zebra took a step closer. Amber pulled out a combat knife. “Stay back!” She yelled to the zebra. “Easy, you do not want to start something that won’t end well.” The zebra looked angrily into Ambers eyes. “I heard a loud crash; then I saw you drop out of the sky.” The zebra looked at Amber’s arm. “Oh dear, you need medical help. Here come with me ill fix you up.” “I don’t think so.” Amber said pulling herself to her feet. “Zebras don’t talk, this is crazy shit!” “Maybe so, but I saw the ship fall, you are from outer space. That means you don’t belong here.” The zebra snapped back. “So?” Amber said bracing herself on the tree. “So, you are in are land now, and solders will come to find the falling alien.” Amber felt her arm bleed faster. Her hart was racing; thinking that solders way come and kill her. She looked at her arm, then back to the zebra. Amber knew that it would be best to go with the talking zebra. “Ok, I’ll come with you.” ************************ The zebra lead the alien to her house. On the way there, Amber learned that her name was Zecora, and she lived in the forest. She also learned that the forest was called the Ever Green forest. Amber told Zecora that she was human, and that she was a marine, a solder for the United States of America. “So you’re a fighter?” Zecora asked pulling a wooden box off a shelf. Amber looked at her cup of coffee Zecora had given her. “Well not really, I have fought in wars, but I don’t like killing people. Amber sipped the coffee. “Don’t move your arm!” Zecora reminded Amber. Amber shot her arm back to her side. Zecora had pushed the bone back in, stitched it, and put a clay casting around it. As the clay dried Amber couldn’t move it. “I’m sorry.” Zecora placed berries in a stone bowl. She started to mix it with a flower. “What you doing there?” Amber asked leaning to see it better. “I’m making a brew for a pony in Ponyville. One of his Foals has Hoof disease. So I’m just making a brew for him.” Zecora added a dash of powder. “What’s that?” Amber asked sipping her coffee. “It’s red vine powder.” Zecora pored the mixer in a bottle. She sealed it with a cork, and slid it into her bag. “Do you want to come with me?” “No, it will be better if I stay here.” Amber replied. “Suit yourself; I’ll be back in an hour.” With that said, Zecora left the room. note: This was a short chapter yes, but i want to ask you readers, if i did good at the sad part?
