//------------------------------// // The Heart of the Company // Story: Heart of Gold, Pony of Steel // by Snowdead123 //------------------------------// Everypony in the Tri-Pony office was celebrating. "We have finally got a new heart! We can continue on with our experiments! FANTASTIC!" they all shouted. Golden Stone acted like anypony else in the office, excited for their new discovery, but inside, he was terribly afraid of what would happen. The had the subject for their evil doing strapped to a metal cart. They wheeled the cart down the hallway into the room they used for operations. "Golden Stone! Please come to the operation room for the procedure!" came a voice over the speakers. He sighed and walked to the room where, only moments away, a pony was going to have her heart cut from her chest. He walked through the door and saw the pony on the table. "Please hand me the knife?" asked the one pony in a white coat. Golden Stone grabbed the knife and handed it to the pony. She looked at the knife and began to push it into the mare on the table's chest. The mare screeched in pain and cried for mercy. Blood oozed from her chest and she breathed hard. She begged and begged, but they didn't listen. Golden Stone looked down at the mare on the table. She looked up at him and looked him in the eyes. She could see he didn't want to do this, but was being forced into it. She began to fade out as the pony plunged the knife down harder into her chest, splintering and splitting her rib cage. She shrieked louder and cried for help. Blood spurted from her chest and she screamed for the last time. Her eyes closed as the pony ripped out her heart. All that was left of her was a mare with a gaping hole in her chest. "Golden Stone, would you be kind and finish the job? I have to take this heart to the metal chamber for transfer." she said picking up the heart. He nodded in response. The pony walked out of the room with the heart in hoof, leaving him to finish the job. He picked up the knife and cleaned it off. He put it down and picked up an even bigger butcher knife. Celestia was starting to put her plan in action. She tried as hard as she could to bend the metal bars with her magic. The bars were partly magic proof, so it was difficult for her to do. Next she pressed herself to the smallest form she could and squeezed through the hole. She quietly trotted to the edge of the kingdom. She took one last look at the worst guarded kingdom in the world. She also gave one last thought to how Luna would be. She pushed it away and spread her wings. She jumped into the air and flew away into the still lit world. As she flew across the sky, she brought forth night so her subjects wouldn't worry. As the brought out night, she thought more about Luna. 'What would happen to Luna? How will she escape? What will they do to her?'. She couldn't think of this right now. "Oh, Luna. I can't leave you there!" she said turning around. Celestia landed on the edge of the kingdom again. She ran along to the cells, only to find that the cell she had once been in with her crying sister, was empty. "Luna! Where are you!?" she yelled into the corridor. "SISTER! HELP!" she yelled, being dragged down the hall by a changeling guard. "LUNA!" she shouted. She ran down the hall after her. The changeling heard her and struck her just as she got close. She was hit in the face by his jagged hoof. It left an ugly gash under her eyes. She ran at him again. He turned around and showed himself choking Luna. Celestia slowed down, afraid he would hurt her further. "Don't! Stop!" screamed Celestia. The changeling proceeded to choke Luna, and she continued to gasp for breath, but she couldn't get any air in. She made screeching noises, while trying to push the changeling off of her. He let go of her for a second and hit her on her head with his hoof. She yelped in pain and fell to the floor. Celestia ran at him and landed on top of him. He toppled over and was crushed under her weight. He lost his breath and his chest cracked. Luna lay on the floor, unconscious. Celestia ran over to her and held her in her hoofs. "I'm sorry little sister. I shouldn't have left you here alone." she whispered, beginning to cry a bit. Luna began to wake up and saw her sister crying above her. "Sister, don't cry. I'm fine." she said. Celestia opened her eyes and looked down at Luna. She smiled and hugged her little sister tightly.
