Chapter 2 

Derpy trotted down the metal stair case leading to the aliens. 
“Officer Derpy?” A Unicorn colt asked.
“Yes what is it?” Derpy asked.
“Well I was just thinking.” He stopped for a moment. “What if the aliens are carnivores?” 
“Officer Derpy stopped trotting. “What are you saying?” She asked turning to him.
The young Colt looked down at his hooves. “Thing about it, what if these things have advised weapons.”
“I have something up my sleeve to.” Derpy said with a grin.
All the ponys looked at her with confusion. Derpy walked over to a pony with a saddle. She Reached in with her mouth. Derpy pulled out a canister. It had yellow strips painted on it. A ring sat on top of it.
“What is it?” A Filly asked.
“It’s a Stripped Hornet. It’s a toxic gas made from Canterlot.” Derpy slipped it into her belt. “We made it last month; Just for kicks. Know we might need it.” Derpy pulled out a few more of the canisters. She slipped them into her belt. “See Equestria has never really made any progress with weapons.” Derpy pulled out a gas mask. “But, after fighting many wars before. Princess Luna wanted to have better weapons. After all we almost lost the Zebra war.”
The solders stared at Officer Derpy, as she slid her gas mask on. It was a basic gas mask, similar to when cutie pox spread though Canterlot. 
“Everpony, grab some Stripped Hornets, and a gas mask.” Derpy commanded. 
Once everpony had there gas masks on. Derpy trotted down the stairs.   
The stars opened to a door. It was made out of simple wood.
“This is it!” Derpy yelled. She bucked the door open, sending splitters of wood ever were. 
The solder ran in the room. There were the aliens. They were ugly, flat faces, short manes. They were the ugliest thing Derpy had ever seen. The aliens stood in shock for a moment. Then one grabbed a knife off a table. The others did the same, grabbing long stick things, and knifes. It was like a Mexican show down. Both sides waiting for the other, to make there move. One alien, the one that grabbed the first knife. Started to look nervous. 
“By the name of Princess Celestial, I am ordering you to put down your weapons!” Derpy shouted to the aliens. 
They just looked shocked at the sight of the solders. 
“Back off!” An Alien yelled. With its long stick pointed at Derpy. “I-I mean it!” The alien said shaking. 
“Put your weapons down!” Derpy yelled back. 
Derpy’s solders pulled out Stripped Hornet canisters, Ready for a fight. 
Derpy was pleased; all of the weapons were close ranged. It was kind of wired that they were pointing the sticks at the ponys. Derpy took a closer look at the sticks. Derpy’s eyes opened wide when she saw that the sticks; were long ranged weapons. They had metal all over it, and it had a barrel to lunch items. 
“What the hell are you?” One of the aliens asked narrowing his eyes.
Derpy took a step closer. “We are ponys.” She said in surprise that they didn’t know what a pony was. 
“What are you?” Derpy asked, may as well ask, they asked her. 
The human paused for a moment. “I am a human.” He finally said. 
Derpy looked around the room. She finally knew what they were. Derpy knew that a fight wasn’t the best idea, but if they couldn’t get them to fallow; they would have to. Studying the room, Derpy noticed that there were small “humans” behind the bigger ones. There were four foal humans, and about two dozen adult humans. 
“Know just put down your weapons.” Derpy said nicely. 
A human with a knife looked at his hands. Then he slid his knife into his belt. He looked around at the other humans. “Should we go with them?” 
Derpy felt worried when a human with an angry face turned to the other. 
“We can’t go with them, we have family back home!” he yelled. 
“Yah but I think this is for the best.” The human said.
The angry human turned towards Derpy, and yelled. “I will not put my family at risk!” The human razed his weapon.
Derpy filched as a loud bang rang in the room. The human’s Weapon shot across the room, and hit a young filly in the chest. Blood spilled across the floor, as the lifeless body fell to the ground.  Derpy stood in horror at the power of the weapon. 
“Officer Derpy!” A unicorn yelled as the other humans razed there weapons. 
Felled with rage, Officer Derpy pulled the rings on the Stripped Hornets. Yellow gas spread from the canisters. 
“Shit!” One Human yelled dropping his weapon.
“Attack!” Officer Derpy yelled. 
Ponys ran across the room, Spreading Stripped Hornet gas. 
BLAM! BLAM!
Two more shots rang though the air. Officer Derpy ran up to one of the humans. 
“Back off!” The human yelled swinging a knife at Derpy. 
Derpy delivered a swift buck to the human’s gut. The human flew to the ground in pain. “In the name of Princess Celestial, you are ordered to surrender!” Derpy ordered bucking the human in the forehead, knocking it out cold. 
“Please save the children!” A voice came from behind Derpy. 
Derpy shot around to see a human. His brown mane, cut face, and full of sorrow. Derpy looked around to see the gas surrounding the room. She looked behind the human to see the foals. Derpy knew if she saved these human foals, the humans would friend her. “Ok ill help you.” Derpy said though her gas mask. “Privet Apple!” 
“Yah!” Privet Apple yelled bucking a human.
“Get over here with your gas masks!” Derpy shouted over the shouts of the battle.
Private Apple handed Officer Derpy the gas masks. 
“All right, foals put on these!” Derpy handed the human foals the masks.
Derpy swooped up the smallest Foal. “Hold on!” Derpy shouted as he took off in the air, and up the stairs.

“Hey, Alvin?” Apple bloom asked. 
“Yes, what is it Apple bloom?” Alvin asked 
“I thought I heard something.” Apple bloom said walking to the steel door.
“It’s nothing, just sit down.” Alvin suggested.
Apple bloom sat down next to Azul. She though she heard noise coming from down the stairs, but she couldn’t tell; there was a lot of noise coming from up here. More solders showed up to collect data, and technology.
Derpy flew into the open door way. 
“Officer Derpy!” Alvin said with joy. Alvin stopped in his tracks when he saw the alien. “Officer?” 
“It’s ok.” Derpy said. Derpy sat the alien down.
Behind Derpy, came up the rest of the solders. Some were covered in blood. Apple bloom noticed that some of the soldiers were missing. There must have been a fight, but what is with these aliens? Apple bloom examined the aliens. The one that was riding on Derpy’s back, sand one of the older ones. Had s brown mane and the other two had black. There was an adult one to; he had a nice dark brown mane. 
“Howdy!” Apple bloom said cheerfully. She was thinking if these things saw the fight. They might be really scared.
“Hi.” The young brown mane one said, in a shy voice; almost like flutter shy. 
“Alvin, get a transport ready.” Derpy commanded
“Right away Officer Derpy!” Alvin said running off.
The adult human dropped his gasmask to the floor. He looked at the young children, and then to Derpy.
“Where are we going know?” The human asked breathing heavily.
“Don’t worry human, we are taking you to a safe place.” Derpy said closing the metal door. “We will be safe in Canterlot.”
“Canterlot?” The human asked. “Where the hell is that?” his face went to worry. 
“It is are capitol city. We will shelter you in the castle.” Derpy said checking the human foals for damage from the gas. “I assure you we will be safe.” 
“Yah, but before we go, I want to ask you some questions.” 
Derpy looked the human in the eye. “Shoot away!” She said leaning on the wall.
“Well first off, my name is mike. Second where did the shuttle crash land?” 
Derpy looked at her hoof and responded. “You have crashed in Equestria, ten miles away from Ponyville.” Derpy trotted over to a book shelf. “Any other questions you want to ask?” 
“Yes I do, how did a house learn to talk?”
Derpy almost laughed at this question, but when he turned he saw that the humans face was serious. “Well, I’m not Shure what you’re talking about. Ponys have talked, and walked for over ten million years.” Derpy looked at his face again. It looked confused.
“Then why is this world all fantasy like? There are unicorns, Pegasus, and talking horses.” The human ruffled his hair with his hand. “What’s going on?” He said in slightly panic voice.
“Please, calm down, and again I don’t know what you’re talking about. You may not have Unicorns, Pegasus, or…” Derpy paused for a moment. “Houses was it?” she asked. “Well beside the point, we have stuff that you don’t. You will just have to get used to it.” Derpy walked over to Mike. “Its ok, you’re going to be all right.”
Mike looked down at Derpy; he was about two or three feet taller than her. “Your right, we will have to adjust to this world.” Mike put a hand on Derpy. “If you want to ask me anything, just tell me.” 
“I will do that.” Derpy said putting a hoof around his chest.
Alvin trotted in the room. “I have the carriage here Officer Derpy.”
“Good, are you ready to go Mike?” Derpy asked Mike. 
Mike looked at the children. They were all looking at him, waiting to see if it was ok. “Yah lets go.” He finally said

The large carriage sat on the cool grass. Apple bloom couldn’t see who was pulling it. The path to the carriage was blocked with white plastic. To keep the passengers hidden. Apple bloom slipped into the carriage after Azul. Derpy was making them go to Canterlot. After what they saw, the government knew that Apple bloom, and Azul would tell somepony about this. The carriage’s windows were covered with white tarps. Apple bloom had asked Derpy if Apple Jack could come to Canterlot. She said that she would send a notice that Apple bloom was in Canterlot. 
“Wow!” The smallest human said stepping into the carriage. “This is fancy!” 
Apple bloom scooted over to the human. “What’s your name?” She said with a smile.
The shy girl looked at her hands. “My name is Rose.” She said in a small voice.
“Well howdy there Rose, my name is Apple bloom!” Apple bloom said cheerfully.
“Hi, so, you’re a horse?” The girl asked still shy. 
Apple bloom looked strangely at the young human. Was she serious calling her a horse? It was kind of insulting to call somepony a horse, but if that’s what humans call ponys. “Yes, I guess I am.” Apple bloom said watching the other humans climb into the carriage.
“Are you all horses in Equestria?” Rose asked.
“No, there are griffons, and a few zebras.” Apple bloom responded. 
Derpy was the last to get in the carriage. When she sat down, the carriage lifted off.

Derpy lead the humans and ponys into the castle. Everypony was cleared from the halls. They were lead to the west wing. It was a large room, not as big as the ball room, but still big. The room was filled with empty shelves, desks, and tables. It had a dozen beds, and desks. Everything was empty. “This is where you humans will stay.” Derpy told the crowd. 
“Why is everything empty?” Mike asked Derpy.
“Well, we just set this room up, and we didn’t know what humans would like.” Derpy said picking up a sack. “Here is this sack.” Derpy mumbled though the sack.
The human grabbed the sack, and looked at the contents. He pulled out an apple. “Some apples?” The human asked. 
“Yes, we will have Princess Celestial come up. She will bring some stuff for your entertainment.” Derpy said starting out the room. “Come Apple bloom and Azul. We have another room for you.”
Apple bloom followed Derpy. The castle was an amazing place. She wanted to live here. 
“Here we are.” Derpy said pushing a door open. 
Apple bloom walked in the room. It wasn’t empty like the human room. There were shelves of books, and piles of paper. There were two beds, both covered in wool blankets. There were velvet coaches, set around a stone fire place. Apple bloom loved the feel of the carpet on her hooves. “Wow this is the best room!” Apple bloom ran to velvet coaches.
“This is an awesome room!” Azul said in excitement. He felt the smooth, silk sheets on the beds. “Are we really going to stay here?” Azul asked Derpy.
“Yes, if you need anything, just call one of the maids. They will help you with anything.” Derpy said leaving the room. She stopped in the door way. “Oh and Apple bloom.” Derpy said turning. “We contacted your family, and I am sending a carriage for your sister. She said she will be bringing her friends. The elements of harmony?”
“That’s great!” Apple bloom responded. “What about my friends, Sweetie belle, and Scootalo?”
“We can’t bring them know; we have to wait for a while, but you can send letters.” Derpy left the room.
Apple bloom laid on her bed. Thinking about what she had gotten into.
