"Just a little more now." said some sort of voice. In one of the caves in Equestria, there are a race of creatures who feed on others love, called changelings. But right now, there were three specific ones taking the love out of a certain purple unicorn.
"It didn't have to be this way Twilight. But we need food and you're right now the best source for it." said one of the changelings. Suddenly, one of them stopped and looked the other way.
"Crrikikri?" said one of the other changelings in their own language. The other two looked at it with looks of confusion on their faces.
"Huh? What do ya mean it's gettin' colder Sweetie Belle?" asked the last changeling, this one with a familiar bow in her mane. They all soon looked back and suddenly saw ice on the cave walls.
"What?! Ice?! What's goin' on here!?" but before an answer could be received, a piece of the ceiling above them suddenly collapsed on top of Twilight, burying her underneath it.
"Twilight!" yelled all three of the changelings. One of them saw her hoof sticking out of the rubble after some smoke cleared up and the changeling with the bow checked on it, looking for a pulse.
"...Not that I care anymore...but how is she Apple Bloom?" asked the now unknown changeling. The one with the bow, now revealed to be Apple Bloom, kept looking for a pulse...but she couldn't. All she felt was a cold hoof.
"Scoots...Twilight's dead." said Apple Bloom. The other two gasped, but didn't have time to feel shocked as they could hear some sort of fighting come from deeper into the cave. The three changelings rushed to the source of the voice, only to see more of their own kind on the floor, either completely frozen solid or motionless on the floor. They checked on a few who weren't frozen, but they were the same as Twilight, dead.
"Who...who could have done such a thing?" asked Scootaloo. They then continued heading for the source and found themselves in the changeling queen's throne room. In there, they saw two things. They saw Apple Bloom's sister frozen solid in a large chunk of ice and they saw the queen fighting against a large creature that looked like it had ice on it. Next to it was a tall figure wearing what looked like to be battle armor. The large creature suddenly used some sort of dark slash on the changeling queen, knocking her back and snapping her horn in half.
"Ugh...how dare you...take out my servants...who do you think you are!?" yelled the queen at the man, who simply responded with a laugh.
"Take these words in, for they will be the last words you will ever hear. I am the leader of Team Rocket, Giovanni! And your kind will simply get in the way of my master plan, so goodbye! Now, Hyper Beam, max power!!" yelled Giovanni. The creature next to Giovanni fired a powerful beam at the changeling queen, who got hit with the full brunt of it. One moment, there stood a once powerful queen and the next moment, there was nothing there. The changeling queen was dead. Killed by the hands of the leader of Team Rocket.
"How...how dare you!?" yelled Scootaloo at Giovanni, who looked at the three changelings and simply smiled a sinister smile.
"Now you three want to get in my way? This is what happens to those who get in my way! Ice Beam, go!" yelled Giovanni. The creature began to charge up another attack. Scootaloo wanted to do something, but knew she couldn't do anything against this thing. Suddenly, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle got in front of her.
"What!? What are you two doing!?" asked Scootaloo. The two changelings looked back at her and only smiled.
"Take care Scoots...and fer us, find a way to take him down." said Apple Bloom, seemingly fighting back tears. Sweetie only gave Scootaloo a salute before her and Apple Bloom faced the creature, who fired the Ice Beam attack. The attack struck the two changelings, freezing them in place right in front of Scootaloo, who tried to hold back tears, but couldn't. Her two friends just sacrificed themselves to protect her.
"Heh, pitiful. That's just more of these useless bugs out of the way." said Giovanni. Scootaloo looked back at him and saw that in his eyes, was a cold, heartless, merciful monster who would dispose of anything useless to him.
"Others may call me and the other changelings monsters...but you're the bucking monster here!" yelled Scootaloo at Giovanni. The Team Rocket leader only laughed at this.
"Monster? Me? No, you're mistaken. I am no monster...I am this world's new king!" said Giovanni. Scootaloo could see the creature setting up some sort of move and was too scared to move.
"Now Kyurem, Glaciate!"

Episode 5: Nightmare Night Preparations
"So Pikachu, can you tell us how you and your friends got here?" asked Twilight. It had now been 3 days since Discord was sealed back in stone. Since then, Pikachu, Buneary, and Victini had experienced one of Pinkie Pie's party, had gotten to know many of Ponyville's residents, and even met Princess Celestia when they were in Canterlot for the celebration of Discord's defeat. Celestia even agreed to help with trying to help Pikachu and his friends find a way to get back home. Right now, Pikachu had been asked by Twilight to answer some questions.
"Well, I was on my way back home to a place called Pallet Town in a region called Kanto with my friend Ash, who's called a Pokemon Trainer, and our friend, a Pokemon Coordinator named Dawn, had joined us. But these guys, Jessie, James, and another Pokemon called Meowth, who are part of a group called Team Rocket, appeared, claiming to have gone back to their original ways, and captured Buneary, trying to use her as ransom to try and make me go with them, since they've been after me for many years. However, I was able to destroy the robot they were using and send them flying, but as me and Buenary were coming down to the ground, a portal appeared underneath us and we fell in it. That's how me and Buneary came here. I still don't know about Victini though." said Pikachu. Twilight finished writing down notes about what Pikachu said so far.
"So that's what happened? Well, I hope we can get you back to your friends." said Twilight as she finished writing down notes about the Pokemon world.
"Thanks Twilight, but until we can get back there, we might as well make ourselves comfy here." said Pikachu. He looked outside and saw Victini and some of the others watch Rainbow Dash bounce a ball. But suddenly, three blurs appeared and spun Dash around, making her lose the ball. The three came in and came to a stop, revealing themselves to be young ponies. One was an earth pony with a yellow coat and a red mane and tail with a bow in her mane. Then there was a unicorn with a white coat and a mane and tail that had light purple and pink in it. The last one was a orange pegasus with a purple mane and tail.
"Hey, where is he Twi'!?" asked the earth pony.
"Where's who?" asked Twilight.
"The awesome mouse who beat Discord, duh!" said the pegasus. Pikachu knew they were looking for him, so he came up to them.
"Hey, I'm right here." said Pikachu. The fillies turned around and almost immediately came up to him.
"Wow, you're not as big as I thought." said the unicorn.
"So you're the one who beat Discord? That's so awesome! But you're not as cool and awesome as Rainbow Dash!" said the pegasus.
"Uhhh, excuse me, but who are you three anyway?" asked Pikachu. The three fillies backed away a bit before answering.
"Mah name's Apple Bloom." said the earth pony.
"My name is Sweetie Belle!" said the unicorn'
"I'm Scootaloo!" said the pegasus. The three then got together for their next words.
"And we are...THE CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS!!!" yelled the three fillies. Pikachu only sweat dropped at this. He then noticed that the three fillies rumps were blanks, unlike some of the others.
"Hey, why are your rumps blank?" asked Pikachu.
"Huh? You mean are flanks? Well, see, we've yet to find our cutie marks. So the three of us formed out group so we could help each other get our cutie marks!" said Sweetie Belle. Pikachu got confused.
"Huh? Cutie marks?" asked Pikachu. He looked at Twilight, thinking she would have the answer he needed. Luckily, she did.
"A cutie mark symbolizes a pony's special talent. For instance, mine shows that I am talented with magic." said Twilight as she showed her cutie mark to Pikachu. Pikachu nodded, as he now got it.
"Hey Twilight, you almost done! It's almost time for getting ready for Nightmare Night!" came a voice from upstairs. Pikachu knew it belonged to Twilight's dragon assistant, Spike. But what was Nightmare Night?
"Oh! Just a second Spike!" said Twilight before facing Pikachu.
"I guess I should tell you about Nightmare Night. It's a night where ponies go around dressed in costumes, going to other ponies homes to get candy. Then near the end of the celebrations, ponies go to the statue of Nightmare Moon and leave some of their candy there." explained Twilight. This celebration reminded Pikachu of Halloween in his world. It surprised him how much things were similar here.
"Hey, why don't you so see some of the others about it. I need to go get ready for tonight." said Twilight as she went upstairs. Pikachu then bid the Crusaders farewell before heading towards Fluttershy's, because it was where Buneary had been staying. Meanwhile, back where Paul's team was, they were still going after King Sombra, with Paul's Froslass still leading the way. Uxie was floating right behind him and the other Apple Bloom was also right behind him.
"So...what the hay is goin' on anyway?" asked Apple Bloom. Both Uxie and Paul knew this question was going to be asked eventually. Uxie answered first.
"First of all, let's introduce ourselves to you. My name is Uxie, the being of knowledge." said Uxie.
"And the name's Paul. I'm a Pokemon Trainer from Veilstone City." said Paul. This confused Apple Bloom.
"Pokemon? Veilstone City? Ah've never heard of those things." said Apple Bloom. Paul decided to waste some time explaining things.
"Pokemon, like Uxie and my Froslass, are creatures with amazing powers. They can control weather, alter the land, and even travel through time and space. And sometimes, they spend time with Pokemon Trainers, like me. They get stronger together and battle other trainers. They even enter tournaments in order to battle the toughest trainers, like Gym Leaders, who are some of the strongest Trainers. There are several Gym Leaders in many regions from my world. Veilstone City is home to a gym in the Sinnoh Region. There are other regions like Hoenn, Kanto, Unova, and Johto. And trainers who collect 8 Gym Badges, which are earned from beating Gym Leaders, enter that regions Pokemon League tournament and the winner of it gets to battle that regions Elite Four, who are even tougher then the Gym Leaders. Those who are able to beat them can battle that region's strongest trainer, the Pokemon League Champion. And right now, I've been training to battle my home region's Champion, Cynthia. In order to do that, I must get stronger. And facing this King Sombra guy will help me get stronger, possibly enough to face Cynthia." said Paul. Apple Bloom nodded, now knowing some things about Paul and the world he was from. But there was something she was still wondering.
"Ah still need to know one thing...where am Ah?" asked Apple Bloom. Uxie began to explain, but something interrupted him. All of them stopped in their tracks as they saw something ahead of them coming towards them. It looked like a weird pony."
"Hey, what they hay is somepony doin' out here?" asked Apple Bloom. Paul, however, felt something was weird. He then took out his Pokedex and aimed it at the pony.
"That's not a pony." said Paul as his Pokedex activated to scan the creature ahead of them.
"Keldeo, the Resolute Pokemon. Said to have been abandoned in a forest fire, it was trained by Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion as one of the Swords of Justice." the Pokedex said. Paul's eyes got big at the mention of this. The legendary Pokemon Keldeo was right in front of them. But as soon as Keldeo's came into clear view, it was seen with many injuries on it's body. And on it's back laid an unconscious creature.
"Ugh...help...us...please..." said Keldeo before collapsing into the snow. Paul's group rushed to him and saw the creature on Keldeo's back was also heavily injured and was hardly breathing. Apple Bloom got a good look at the creature and recognized it as a female changeling, but there were some features on this changeling that were all too familiar to her.
"This creature...Ah know her! It's Scootaloo!" said Apple Bloom out of shock. Uxie looked around and felt the area getting colder, then saw a cave nearby in the side of a nearby mountain.
"Let's get them in there. I feel a blizzard coming and these two won't survive it." said Uxie, pointing to the cave. Paul and Apple Bloom nodded as they got Scootaloo and Keldeo and dragged them into the cave with Uxie right behind them. Whatever was going on, they knew things had to be explained soon. And how will Pikachu, Buneary, and Victini do during their first Nightmare Night?
"So sister, do you think you'll be ready for your trip to Ponyville tonight?" asked Celestia to her sister, a night blue alicorn named Luna.
"Yes 'Tia. You're always telling me I need to get out since the incident with Nightmare Moon. And these celebrations tonight will be perfect for me. Besides, I've got a perfect entrance for it. See you later 'Tia!" said Luna as her guards flew into the air towards Ponyville, carrying a chariot with Luna in it.
"I hope they welcome you Luna." said Celestia as she wisher her sister good luck as Luna made her way to Ponyville for Nightmare Night as the journey continues...
