Back at Cloudsdale, before the race when Fluttershy earned her cutie mark, Fluttershy had huge crush on a handsome colt named Sparkchaser. She was scared to ask him about it, and hid every time she saw her. Spark felt the same. He also had a huge crush on Fluttershy, but was too scared to ask her out. He was afraid of rejection, any guy would be. But one day, he urged up the courage to ask her out. He was just about to ask her, but she fell, and was never seen by him again. Until this one day.
Fluttershy was strolling down the road to Sugar Cube Corner, when she sees him . Fluttershy gasps, hides, and swoons at the same time. She saw an aqua pony with a lightning spark Cutie Mark. It's Sparkchaser, her crush since Cloudsdale! What was he doing here! Is he on business or for her? All she knew was that she must NOT bump into him.
She turns the corner from the building she was hiding behind and bumps right into Spark's nose. Spark scowled and looked down, only to turn his frown into a huge grin.
"Fluttershy?" He said surprised. "It really is you!"
He gave her a HUGE bear hug, She couldn't breathe. Both of hyperventilation and his strength. She was happy to see him, but scared at the same time.
"Oh, uh, hi Sparky- I mean Spark!, heh, heh. What're you doing here?" She said stuttering a bit.
Spark was so excited he could burst, he finally saw his crush! He came here to see Rinbow Dash if she knew where Fluttershy moved to. But here she is! And Sparky? He couldn't have been happier to see her.
"I came looking for you." He said in a bashful tone. "I came, to ask you..." His voice trailed off.
Fluttershy couldn't believe what she was hearing! She knew what was happening, but she couldn't process it. Once she took a moment to realize, it hit her like a book. Her crush, was asking her out!
Before Spark was able to finish the sentence. Fluttershy jumped up a said "Yes, Yes, YES, I will!" and dove into Spark.
Spark moved in with Fluttershy the next day, and they were clearly in love.

Spark and Fluttershy lived happily in her cottage for the next few months, Spark is a superb flier, and gave her lessons everday, and she was getting better. They lived and worked together. The animals immediately like Spark, and they walked down the streets, holding wings. They frolicked in the meadows, sleeping under the stars, loving each moment of it. Loving and caring and even considered matrimony and a little foal to call their own. They lived together happily ever after.

The next few years, they still loved, they were married by year 5, and were still considering the thought of the little foal. So after a few years of deciding, they said yes. They chose the best spot, their favorite. The meadow near the Everfree forest. And made love under Luna's moon and stars.
After three months, Spark wen missing for a week. Fluttershy was freaking out. The father of her child, their child was missing! When Spark "returned", he wasn't himself, he was rude, he wasn't the least bit kind. And not one bit the stallion she married.
Fluttershy ranted at him the day he came back.
"WHERE IN CELESTIA WERE YOU!!! I WAS WORRIED SICK! WHAT WERE YOUDOING OUT FOR THE WEEK, RE YOU HAVING AN AFFAIR!?"
Spark seemed like he didn't even notice, but pulled out a beautiful flower.
"For you"
"Oh, thanks honey. I had no idea, it's beautiful."

Fluttershy went to their meadow to bow off steam in their favorite place. She lied down and started to sob.
"Where could he have gone. This guy is not the stallion I married. I want the real Sparky back.
She cried until something caught her eye, it's shining in Celestia's sun. She got up and walked over to it. It was a spark buckle for a saddlebag! The thing living in her cottage isn't Sparky, but a... Changeling!

When Fluttershy tried to confront the thing living in her houe, it would just pretend not to notice her. Feeding on the love she had for Spark. What it didn't know, Fluttershy knew exactly the truth. She went back to the buckle in the meadow, pacing, thinking of what to do. Then she noticed trail of flowers and seeds. From Sparks bag! Fluttershy knew what she had to do. Rainbow. Dash. She needed RD to help her get to the hive, or whatever that place is called.
She told it that she was going to be with the girls tonight, and going to be on a animal rescue the whole next week. He just said okay and Fluttershy flew off to Rainbow's house.
When she reached it, she banged on the door loudly.
"Rainbow, I need you, if-if that's okay"
Rainbow opened the door and Fluttershy told her the whole tale, and how she needed her help.
"And I need you to help get into this Hive place and help me get Sparky out. RD agreed, and they flew off to the buckle, and followed the trail, leading right to the Everfree Forest.
