You sigh as you ready the bath and check to make sure you have all of the proper supplies to wash your first Pet. You get up from the tub towards the door, opening it and yelling out "Bath time!"
You wait about 3 minutes and realize that Gummy doesn’t want to bathe. You try and think of where Gummy would be you start to walk around your house looking everywhere... You walk around the house for about 10 minutes confused. You go to the guest bedroom, you knock on the door and you hear a bubbly "Come in".
You walk in and see a bouncy bubbly pink party pony filly using the bed as a trampoline. "Oh hi-yaz what can I do for you?" the filly asked.
"Pinkie have you seen Gummy at all?" you ask nicely while looking around the guest room trying to find the green gator.
"Yes I saw him when we came in, which was really weird; how come were not in Ponyville where are the other ponies, how come you’re not a pony?" Pinkie starts to ramble.
You hold your hand out and stop her "Pinkie have you seen Gummy recently like a few minutes ago?" you ask carefully not wanting to excite the pink filly.
"Nu-uh nope sorry no can do nope zilch nadda" Pinkie answers you.
You nod slowly. "Thanks Pinkie I will go look for Gummy now okay?" you reply to her.
"Okie-dokie loki" Pinkie says jumping on the bed.
You leave the hyperactive filly alone...."why do I feel like I just jinxed myself" you mutter to yourself.
You walk back to the bathroom to see that the water was ice cold with actual ice cubes in it. "Pinkie did you but ice cubes in the tub again!" you ask the filly in another room.
"NO! Wasn’t me this time" Pinkie replies.
"Okay thanks Pinkie" You shout and walk over to the cold water and pull the plug emptying it of its cold liquid.
You put the plug back in and put the water on hot but not two hot for the gator you will bath.
Unknown to you the toilet lid opens slowly; pair of purple eyes watches your every move.
As you turn off the water to stop the bath from going past the proper depth you turn around and see the toilet lid open a smidge and see something purple eyes.
You smirk to yourself and walk casually to the door shutting it closed. You walk over to the toilet and quickly flip open the lid to see..."Ah...two purple toy ducks?" you blinks and wonder how they got their you lift them out and place them in the sink.
Something small skitters across the top closet near one of the vents, hissing.
You turn around and get a stepping stool and get on top of it and look at the vent and see something jumps onto your face and holds tight.
You struggle and fall down trying to get what it is ever on you to let go. After a while of wrestling you finally "AHH get it off" you scream. You finally get the horrid thing off to see a "t-toy spider...." you groan and shack your body a little.
On top of the shower stall door something stared at you.
You sigh to yourself and sit down on the floor by the tub starring into nothing.
The creature on top of the shower jumps down and opens its maw and clamps down on top of your head.
"OW what the..." you yell getting up off the floor and look into the mirror to see.
"Gummy!" You shout and give a glare to the small gator "let go this instant, time for your bath" You say to the small reptile while removing him from your skull.
Gummy lets go and looks blankly at the wall, his tail waging back and forth.
You place Gummy in the Water and wait to see his reaction.
Gummy stays stock still then starts to swim around the tub bobbing up and down.
You smile at his acceptance at the water's warmth. "Alright Gummy stay still; time to clean your grimy scales" You say while reaching over and grabbing one green toothbrush, a red toothbrush, a normal blue brush and a small water gun.
You pick up the Green one and grab the scale cleaner; you squirt some onto the toothbrush like toothpaste.
You realize that Gummy is staring at you. You look into his eyes and for a while feel uneasy and get a tingle down your spine. You shack of the feeling and then hold down Gummy gently while you start to scrub him head to tail making sure to get all the grim out of his scales. You rinse the toothbrush a few times and reapply the paste to it. After 3 minutes of cleaning the grim off of Gummy's scales you grab a small bucket and begin to fill it with water. You dump the water onto gummy 3 times to get the bubbles and gunk off of his scales you decided to do his teeth.
Grabbing the red toothbrush in your right hand and the special dental paste in the other you squeeze some onto the brush carefully and evenly. You then look at Gummy whose mouth is open only to see... "n-No teeth...he he...I forgot..."
Sighing you get an idea and start to brush Gummy's gum's carefully and messily. After a while you look at your work of art and see a 'rabid' Gummy looking blankly at you…
Chuckling you carefully place Gummy on lip of the tub and as you are about to rinse his mouth with a small water gun.
"Whatcha Doing?" a bubbly voice yells at you from your left.
You jump up screaming "Pinkie what are ....how… the door... how?" you start to ramble but Pinkie decides to finish it for you. "Yeah I know right? The door is super squeaky so I had to sneak carefully so I could check on Gummy. OH NO Gummy are you okay?! *gasp* you have rabies oh no... You can’t have rabies you just can't if you do I can't keep you, if I can't keep you... then I will be super duper sad....WHAAAAAA" Pinkie finishes crying, her mane turns flat and dark.
You look at Pinkie as she cries. "Pinkie Gummy's fine I was just washing his gums when I was going to rinse his mouth out when you came in here. He doesn't have rabies" You say to Pinkie.
"Gummy's okay? Why didn't you say so you silly filly!" Pinkie says happily her mane turning back to normal.
"I need to finish giving him a bath" you say to her.
"Its okay here you go I will be in the guest room okay..." Pinkie says happily and bounces her way to the bathroom door.
Sighing again you look at Pinkie and say "I will be very quick and then we can have some cupcakes okay".
Pinkie stops just a few inches from the door and disappears… only to appear right in front of you smiling away "Really can we have some chocolate cupcakes with chocolate chips on top with sprinkles!" Pinkie says happily bouncing up and down.
"Yes but I need to finish giving Gummy a bath and then we can have a cupcake okay I promise" you say smiling but stop as you see a serious looking pinkie at you.
"Pinkie Promise!" she asks carefully looking at you.
You nod and do the motions "Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye" you say to her.
Pinkie nods and bounces out of bathroom and out of sight.
You look at Gummy and see him glaring at you...you blink and look down to see Gummy looking normal... "I swear I saw....nay..." you mumble to yourself and grab the water gun and rinse out his mouth. You then start to scrub Gummy clean with the blue brush. After 3 minutes you dump more water onto him and then pick him up and unplug the tub and let all the water and gunk down the drain.
You place Gummy on the ground and grab a pink towel and start to dry him but not too much. You then call Pinkie in who grabs Gummy and hugs him "Lets go have some Cupcakes Pinkie and Gummy" you say to them.
You lead the filly and gator to the kitchen and have some cupcakes like you promised. Though your first Pet Bath was over you really thought it went well for you besides some incidents. You look smiling at Pinkie and Gummy to see them both covered in icing... you hang your head and laugh "What am I going to do with you two"
"PARTY" Pinkie cries and you all laugh.
